    If you select the option MAX CONT thrust bug it will display the amber band, The FCOM mentions... N1 Maximum Bug Displayed (amber) – • N1 value for full rated thrust • computed by the EEC through all phases of flight. • upper limit for autothrottle operation. Ok so basically the amber band is MAX CONT bug, but my TO 26k is showing above the amber N1 maximum bug. I know Takeoff thrust is limited to 5 or 10 minutes subject to certification approval. So is the amber band meaning the most thrust an engine can produce over a long period of time? But found something conflicting between the FCOM and PMDG option.     Okay...on my 737-700, I somehow screwed up my AES settings. Does anyone have the correct positioning information? I'm getting jetways that are far in front of the aircraft, rear stairs at about the middle of the plane, and don't even get me started on the baggage loaders. Please help. Thanks, Marc Eichler

    Guys, I know it is most likely to be finger trouble, but when I program the FMC the V Speeds are not transfering to the PFD. Also in the auto pilot VNAV has stopped functioning. I am programing the FMC the same way I have always done over the last few years and have never had these two problems before. I am able to set the V Speeds manually, but the VNAV is still inoperable. Like I said, it is strange that these two functions have all of a sudden stopped working. All of the 737 models are effected. Don't know if it is worth mentioning, but the 777 is working just fine. Any ideas or help would be very much appreciated. Cheers Phil Duck

    Hi guys I hope I can get some expert advice on this one. During my tutorial on the cold and dark startup procedure, I encounter a problem when I get to the part where I have to verify that the Bus Trans Switch is guarded and the Transfer Bus Off, Source Off and Gen Off lights are supposed to be illuminated (page 0,00,58 tutorial #2). By the time I reach this part, the only lights that are on are the Gen Bus lights. Mind you, I've gone through these steps multiple times, step by step, and I still end up with just the Gen Bus lights illuminated when they are all supposed to be illuminated.     Evening, Just tonight, I downloaded the updates to all my owned PMDG craft. All the installations went quite well, bar one. The 737NGX expansion pack upon running the installation does not give me the option to select which version of FSX to install to like the other installations did. The area where the other craft installations displayed the selection boxes are blank. It then errors out saying it cannot find the steam edition? The 800 installed correctly.. the 777 installed correctly.. this one on the other hand. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Adam Blanchette

    While flying the pmdg, has anybody had this problem with the flight yoke disconnecting after a certain period of time? It doesnt happen with any default aircraft. and i have fsuipc registered version and that still doesnt help...AND i tried the uiautomationcore.dll.....still doesnt work.....and I run win8 (i know..bummer). thx in advance

    Hello everyone, I have noticed that in P3D v3 and P3D 2.5 that the NGX suffers low FPS at random stages during the flight. Most commonly during approach, but it can occur anywhere during the flight. The FPS drops to anywhere between 9-17FPS and it just holds that FPS really steadily. It isn't stuttering but it is noticeably choppy due to the low framerate until it randomly decides to increase to the normal range for me which is about 30-40. (FPS lock at 40) I have an Intel 4690k and a GTX 970. The only addons I am using in these flights are ASN, 737NGX, and FSUIPC, I'm not running any scenery at the moment. The frame drops never occur on the PMDG 777 …

    May have missed this. Unlike the B777 when I download the rte file from Simbrief into the NGX I do not get the PERF INT and WINDS etc. uplinks and also no SID/STARs. Is this by design? Shez

  10. Hello everyone, I was flying a flight on vatsim and the controller requested that I cross waypoint RIVET at time 0809 and at 250 knots. Inputting the hard 250 knot restriction was easy but couldn't figure out how to cross the waypoint at a certain time without using RTA, which doesn't work currently in the NGX. Luckily I am scheduled to cross the waypoint at the correct time. However, is there any other way to comply with this request seeing as some airlines don't use/have RTA on their aircraft?   11. I have my Saitek Pro Flight yoke, pedals, and one extra throttle quadrant installed on my flight sim for use with NGX. I am new to FSUIPC, so I have some real basic questions and problems to correct. First, do I need to run all my 'Control' setting (every axis, button, joystick command, etc) through FSUIPC and delete any trace of them from the stock FSX settings ? Does this include the 'View' controls ? I have deleted the throttle and landing gear settings from stock FSX setting, but sometimes a throttle will just go full blast and I am frantically moving all the quadrant levers to get it to idle back down. I wish there was a way to just 'load' a configuration into FSU…

    Hello, I have the NGX + 6/700 expansion for P3D. I have an issue when installing repaints from the .ptp files. This only occurs when more than one livery is in the .ptp file. When I select add "Click to add" and select the file I want, a dialogue box opens up and says "This file contains multiple liveries. Please select from the list below which liveries you would like to install". I click on the name and it highlights (like when you copy & paste something) then I click ok, but the livery is never installed. Am I missing something? The aircraft and variant are both red for each of the liveries. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  14. How do P3D V3 users set up their rudders in the P3D settings. I am really struggling to hit the centre line sometimes? I was looking at the rudder setting s in P3D. The sensitivity is turned all the way up. But I am not sure about the other settings. The null areas. In Britain we have just recived the remnants of storm Katie, so I did some circuits EGKK into 26L. Just hand fllying whilst trying to follow the ILS LOC and Glide path, but without the AP.     So going from fsx to P3D. Used the NGX in fsx and now in P3D 3.2. Odd thing I see (hear) is now I am hearing a warning sound when I get a message prompt from the FMC. Never had this with the fsx version. Say if the FMC prompts, "Reset MCP Alt" this warning sound starts going off until I click on the FMC button to clear the message. Is there a setting to not have this warning sound? I looked in the FMC setting pages and did not see anything. Thank you

    I have just downloaded the new FS2Crew reboot for PMDG737NG. It is a requirement that Service pack SP1d is installed. This can only be done by re-installing the whole 737 again from your account . I have done this but still FS2Crew has errors. their support have told me to run the PMDG Ops. Manager to check if I am up to date BUT I do not have such a thing in my PMDG menus. How do I get it?

  17. Hi all I would like to realise the A/T function in my homecockpit with motorised throttles, based on PMDG737NGX and P3D. As far as I know throttle levers are controlled by pilots as long as A/T is off or only armed. As soon as TOGA is selected, A/T is engaged and throttle levers are controlled by the PMDG. But there are additional changes between „armed“ and „engaged“ during takeoff and flight, e.g. the „THR HOLD“ at takeoff. Unfortunately there are only two variables available in PMDG SDK to control external equipment concerning A/T: - MCP_ATArmSw - MCP_annunATArm both indicating that A/T is armed.     I have started on Tutorial # 2 of the PMDG 737NGX-800WL and presently going through the cockpit preflight flows. Ran across a discrepancy/mistake in the tutorial pdf version (page 0.00.58): Verify that the BUS TRANS switch has it's guard closed, putting it in AUTO, and that the TRANSFER BUS OFF, SOURCE OFF and GEN OFF BUS lights are illuminated.     I have updated my os to win10 and instead of my dvd copy of fsx, decided to install the FSX Steam edition. I re-downloaded the PMDG 737 NGX 800/900 as well as the 600/700 expansion so I would have the latest versions of each to install...which I did. My installation has a peculiarity in that the course and heading readouts are 3 digits in the 2d panel but only depicts 2 digits in the vc making it impossible to set either from the vc. Has anyone experienced this behaviour before and found a solution to correct it? I have run a couple of repair installs but the problem persists. Jon Shearer

  23. While on G/S the IAS on the EFIS comes back to life showing a value that varies and I can't figure out what determines it. Sometimes is very close to REF speed and some times not. I suppose it varies because my speed is not the same on all flights in "that" specific moment, but what is that moment? is it a specific way point on my route, is it set on FMC (where) or is it a specific flap setting? thanks

    Good day all. I figured this is the old issue. I googled the solution and last topic was dated few years ago and no cure was found. I am still having incorrect times in PROG page, not every flight but every second or third. Looks to me as soon as I start entering CRZ WIND or ISA or wind data in LEG page times in PROG page go crazy. All possible "solutions" were offered in other topics did not work.
