I wanted to use opusfsi on a server and client and it requires everything be identical on each machine. If I wanted to have the 737ngx (FSX) on the client..do I have to purchase another copy? Thank you, Robert Morehead

Guys I appear to be having issues with switch selection, whether i zoom in or not. It appears to be when using the mouse and the arrow selection. If I get the hands the left and right button works and the roller on tthe mouse works fine but arrow selection seems intermittent at best? Any advice appreciated.

Hi everyone! I was just flying my Finnair 737 from EFHK to EFRO. I usually take off and turn vnav and lnav on around FL150 and just start watching tv. When i came to check on my airplane, i noticed it was overspeeding on vnav! I tried switching to alt hld and manually adjusting the IAS but this didn;t seem to do anything. I was flying at FL410 with winds 360 at 30 and light turbulence. The AT wouldn't even throttle back! I also fully configured the FMC for the flight (put in weather data etc.) Does anyone know what is going on and what could have caused this problem so i can prevent it in the future? Hi, I am wondering if anyone out there knows the SOP's in Australia (or anywhere else if its an ICAO regulation) for when Auto Pilot is Disengaged in australia on Landing with ILS? Given that most australian Airports are CAT I a few are CAT II and one is CAT III i would like to know when the AP is Disengaged at all, is it; Upon Flare? At DH? Is the Full landing conducted manually? How does this change with the visibility of the airfield? I did discover yesterday that in good visibility the preference is to conduct a CAT I and categories only increase with visiblity, where as ive allways been flying CAT IIIb or IIIc thus far ive looked at regualtions and som…

Hello! Since yesterday I'm trying to download the NGX 800/900 paint kit at PMDG's web site. It is always giving me a demaged file. I've been trying to download it in 3 different computers and both in Google Chrome and Firefox. The web site says file is 454Mb. But I'm recieving only 218Mb in all attempts. When I try to unzip, I get an error message.

Hi guys, We know the effect of the wind on GS, a HW component will decrease the GS whereas a TW component will increase the GS. As for the IAS, I understand that flying with a HW there´s more ram air flowing into the tube, why is there no increase in IAS? Another point, in a turbulence the IAS goes crazy by the effect of the wind or by something else? Thanks

I have been having this issue with the pmdg 737ngx where it wont fly straight, this happens randomly and is hard to reproduce. So let me explain what exactly happens, ill have autopilot A engaged with LNAV enabled and its flying the flight plan just fine and all the sudden it will start almost weaving in and out of the magneta line, sometimes it will just turn to one direction though. Ill make a hard turn on the yoke to correct it, autopilot disengages but it still wants to turn. I can see in the virtual cockpit the aileron trim is being turned in what seems like random fashion. Unplugging my yoke does nothing to solve this. Then, what seems like randomly, it will just s…

I have not updated anything in FSX and if this has been asked before I'm sorry, just post the link and i'll read it. The problem in the NGX out of the blue for me now is that the FMC gives the proper ils freq for a rwy but it gives the wrong rwy course hdg. If you are landing on let's say a 32-14 rwy, and you select rwy 32 in the fmc the fmc will give the opposite course hdg of 140 instead of 320 every single time. Any ideas? brandon garcia

ust setup a flight from EGPH to LPMA in the 737NGX 800W. I'm using latest update on PFPX and using ASN also for weather. This is the first time i have seen such a split between PFPX fuel at dest and the NGX FMS prediction. PFPX OFP says i'll arrive with 2555 and the NGX shows 3800kg or 3.8t I'm using CI 6 climb/des profile is 250/280/78 i setup the PERF INIT with CI of 6 and CRZ WIND. My weights match - ZFW 55226kg just can't find why the reason?

Hi all, I have encountered a problem just recently with the PFD,ND and Engine displays. Everything was fine (or at least appeared to be) until I replaced one of my Nvidia Geforce GT730 GPU's with an Nvidia Geforce GTX960 GPU. My issue is this. I always open up the NGX in a cold and dark situation. Once I powered up the aircraft, the displays illuminate but there are many details missing ie, on the PFD, no speed or altitude tapes and later once the VNAV and LNAV buttons are pressed on the MCP, I only get the outline of green boxes at the top of the display, Similarly, on the ND, many details are missing and there are no data or way points shown. After a create a flightplan using PFPX I export it.By default if goes into a folder c:\FSX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX In order to have it work in the PMDG-737 CDU ( as coroute ) I need to copy the created flightplan to a folder c\CrucialFolder\FSX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX Therefore I wonder if I could modify the PMDG-737 so that the coroute accepts the plan from c|CrucialFolder\FSX\PMDG\FlightPlan\NGX I would hate to remove everything and reinstall l from scratch Thank you for your help Hubert Werni

2 Questions: 1. Can someone do a rpaint for the 737-600 for Southwest airlines in the "Canyon Blue" colors since right now there is only the Classic colors for it. Essentially the same color as the PMDG Southwest 737-700WL N969WN repaint PMDG has but for the 737-600. 2. Can someone contact a guy by the name "Weston Hall" who puts Southwest livery's on the AVsim library. His textures for some reason will not install through the old Livery manager or even the new one included in the Operations Manager. Sometimes it just gives an error I cant remember but it had to do with the file and that's why its not installing.

So I have undocked the 2D MIP panel to my 2nd monitor and then dragged the 2D cockpit 'outside view' down to the bottom of my monitor. The problem being is I am seeing much more of the ground to my front that I should. It's almost that I am standing in the cockpit. Now I use cntrl shift Q which allows the view to be centred properly which is fine, however, when I change the view to look left right etc, when I return the view has reset to looking down again. Is there a permanent fix for this please if anyone knows of one. Thanks in advance.

Hello peeps! I've been working on a PFD for the 737NGX. For quite a while now, it's not really a full time thing, and there's still a lot to do. You might think: why?!!!1 Well... There's one main reason: because it runs stand-alone. You don't need another instance or window of FSX/P3D to be running, which uses valuable resources. And a very cool thing is that it can run on a Raspberry Pi. The reason why I'm posting this, is because I'm wondering how many people would be interested in using this. Hello all, Enjoying the 737NGX very much, but thought I would post this to see if the developers or forum members have any clues as to why this is happening. A quick background: This has been happening with all types of monitors and resolutions, in both FSX and P3D with both the FSX and P3D versions of NGX (all regularly updated) I have 2 monitors in use with FSX and P3D, a 3440 x 1440 widescreen which always displays the flight deck and a 1680 x 1050 monitor that is located physically above the main monitor to permanently display the OH panel (as seen in screenshots) I save all flights in this configuration, but you will see by the first picture, some of …

hi guys, i just finished putting together a new rig and everything went well until the last minute (murphy's law ofcourse)...where my FSX is experiencing occasional crashes and i am not sure where to start fixing this. I removed PMDG 737 and still have crashes. So the easy question to anyone out there using FSX with win10: are there any specific setting i should use and mostly not use? direct x 10? anything else? other that this is workign pretty well i must say. Today I experienced a new issue I haven't seen before. It started down on the ground when I was setting up for the flight and before pushing back I noticed how the EQUIP light on the overhead panel was illuminated. When I couldn't find a way to clear it and the QRH told me as long as the pressure looks good you can continue normal OPS even with this light illuminated I decided to give it a go so I carried on pushing back and took off. However when passing FL100 or so the horn went off and I noticed how also the AUTO FAIL lamp was now illuminated. I went back to FL90 and reading the QRH I ended up setting the press mode selector to MAN and kept my eyes on the dials…

I'm getting into VATSIM now, and making plenty of rookie mistakes. I flew out of DTW today, on the ACO5 SID. I missed the special instructions "maintain 280K until advised by ATC" Controller got me at "390 across the ground at 12,000" I was flying on VNAV SPD so when it crossed 10000 it accelerated as it should... But my question is, to maintain 280K, (I've never did this before so I'm guessing at what I'd have to do) I would have to click SPD INTV and set it at 280K? Isn't this airspeed? Is ATC tracking my airspeed or ground speed? Is that 280K restriction airspeed or ground speed? Sorry if that's a dumb question. More dumb question, how do I then g…

Gents, I recently bought a throttle quadrant for the PMDG 737. It's non motorized but has all functionality. I have little to no experience using FSUIPC but will go through some tutorials over the weekend. I should have no problems setting up the throttle, flaps, speed brakes, parking brakes. However I could really use some advise on the reversers (axis control, not switch) and fuel cut off switches as I am not sure where to bind them to within FSUIPC. due to hardware failure I upgraded my rig changed o/s system to windows 10 prof. installed my backed up copy of 737ng activated ok. discovered it was an old version visited pmdg site and down loaded the d version however I do not think it is because its showing the old delivery manager rather puzzled any help welcomed. frank cann
