PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

  1. Hello everyone When I make a flight at night with the 737-800NGX, and I save the flight, I noticed, that after reloading the flight to continue, I noticed that the tail (logo) and elevator lights, and the anti-collision lights don't work anymore. Is this a known problem, and could anyone help me out. Before saving the flight, everthing was OK. Thanks for helping me out. Henk

  2. Hello, I've just purchased yesterday the 737 base package, flawless installation on my first flight, I'm noticing that, either pilor or copilot, have their yoke checklists pad with no writings, conversely to what I have in FSX/FSXSE please, what am I missing? thanks Marco Gabbrielli

    Hi fellow Aviators, I'm experiencing a rather peculiar event in my take off procedures. I'll rotate at my PNF's callout to 15 degrees and make the climb out at that pitch to 1500 ft where NADP measures will cause me to tuck her in to about 8 degrees for the 1500 ft duration to 3000 ft or so. When N1 comes on strong again I'll see her up to about 4000 ft and engage AP/ and LNAV to take care of the SID course while I continue to hand fly the VNAV. The problem is as soon as I hit LNAV at or around 4000 ft the nose pitches wildly up to about 23-26 degrees and I have to wrestle it down to a practical pitch in order to prevent a stall.     Hi chaps, I just wanted to know whether I am deceiving myself here or whether there is actually a fault, as the texture in my 737 at the moment located above the clock and below the Master Caution seems incongruous with the rest of the panel, and I could have sworn that it was never like this before (I've had the NGX virtually since it came out ). I do use DX10, so maybe there's a problem there, but I just wanted to know if it is supposed to look like this and has always been like it or whether there's a problem, because if there is, obviously I'd like to try and rectify it.     Hello Fellow Pilots (virtual and actual): The PMDG 737 is truly a complicated jet, and it continues to challenge me. I've been having a very difficult time getting the Fail Operational autoland to work correctly. Everything proceeds as it should until 500 radio at which point NO AUTOLAND appears on the HGS and eventually the A/P automatically disengages before touchdown. However, jet retains A/T control, idols the engines on flare and deploys brakes and spoilers on touchdown. All I have to do is manually finish the approach, flare the jet, and add reverse thrust if needed. Still, I can't get the jet to finish the autoland for reasons unknown to me. Both CMD A and B …

So I recently did a reinstall of everything on my Sim computer, and now when I load the NG there is no information on the displays...I've searched to see if the problem has been posted before, but all I can find is information on "blank" screens. My screens aren't blank, the basic stuff is there but all the flight info like airspeed, engine gauges Alt, VS. are not shown. Any thoughts as to what I'm Doing wrong? Thanks Shaun Gilbert

  9. Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong? I am ready to take off, aligned with runway, LNAV and VNAV engaged, as soon as I hit TO/GA the intermittent horn comes sound starts (the same sound that I hear when on ground I move the thrusts forward too much), LNAV and VNAV disengage but as soon as I am few feet above the ground the both engage again and i am able to go on autopilot and everything looks good. I am sure i am missing something but i cannot figure out what... Andrea De Biase

    Hello, I just freshly installed P3D from V3.1 to 3.2. I own the PMDG 737 P3D version ( I have used it normally in 3.1) but when I load it now in 3.2, the screens are blank, the yokes are stuck fully back and deflected to the left. I know this is a DLL thing, and it never asked me to activate it when I installed it into 3.2. Did I miss a step when installing it into 3.2? Thanks. DISREGARD. I installed a simconnect and Coutal and it works.

  12. Hi I have PMDG 777 and 737 base and expansion packs running in P3D v3.2. The latest Operations Centre loads 777 liveries and they are displayed without problem. The 737 liveries, except for PMDG house, do not show at all although there is no problem with the aircraft operations. The downloaded liveries show up as texture folders in P3D's SimObjects\Airplanes folders and the respective Aircraft.cfg files show the presence of the texture(s). Comparing these with the successfully loaded 777 liveries shows no discernible differences. It is as if P3D cannot access the folders and yet, if I duplicate a livery entry P3D knows it is duplicated and warns that aircraft must ha…

    Hello to everybody, I fly only the 737 ngx on fsx and today, during ivao session I noticed something strange never seen before. During approach the control say to me change frequency on 126.625 I opened the com1 panel normally, and I could write only 126.630 no decimal for me today, but I received and transmit regularly. When landed I disconnect from ivao and I made other attempts , no difference. Then I decided to exit and reloaded the simulator and all decimal work properly.     I have a 737 ACE yoke and haven't really considered messing with the sensitivity settings. But would like to get some advice as to what settings mimics the real thing (well as close as possible) anyone have a clue? Or even the real 737 pilots on this? Is the P3D default control settings good enough? I do have FSUIPC but only use my 737 yoke through P3D control settings.

  17. Hello, I'd like to ask whether there is a chance for a small visual-only split-scimitar-winglet update for the 737 NGX, as more and more 737NG are getting the SSWs these times. I know really a lot of people who are waiting for such an update and would pay a few dollars for that. I know that it has been asked before, and the answer has been, that an update isn't possible because of missing performance data or a lot of programming would be needed.     So like the title says while checking APU fire protection prior to startup, I accidentally discharged the left engine fire knob, the big red one. I figured go to maintenance menu and service the aircraft... which I did. And yes the green fire bottle indicator came back to life. Problem solved.. OR so I thought? After pushback and starting left engine... well trying to start the left engine - when it comes time to give it fuel... well... nothing. No fuel flow.     Having a bit of a problem with this also. Purchased yesterday and the screenshot captures how far I got with an install. Opened a ticket at the help desk but haven't heard anything. Sure would like to fly these. Not given a choice of which version to install and the pop-up is for the 777. I do FSX-SE installed but no PMDG product associated with it.

    I'm finding i'm overshooting the centreline once i turn final, i believe i'm too close to the runway, but i don't know what else to correct for. I'm following my set of SOPs. In a nutshell 1. L/R 45* for 20sec and (+/- wind component) my TWC is 7kts so i start the timer for 4 seconds. 2. Turn downwind once time is up 3. Abeam landing threshold, start timing. (3 sec/100ft +/- wind) eg 1200 agl = 36 sec and minus half my TWC which is 17kts this gives me a timing of 28 seconds abeam the threshold. 4.     Hi Guys, I bought the 737NGX and installed it per the instructions in the read me file with the simconnects and all. I can even see my stuff in the operations center. however, when I attempt to start a flight, an non activation window pops up and I have to close down the sim. at not time during the installation on the base or expanded pack did a window pop up for me to put in the provided keys I got from the download section. am I missing a procedure here?     I left my NGX parked up at the gate while i nipped out the house for an hour, when i came back everything seemed to be shutdown like when you cut the fuel cutoff levers, except my start levers where at idle detent, i had 2500kg of fuel both tanks, i've got service based failures on but no failures showing up. Hmm anyone got a clue? Maybe its a bug i don't know? Running P3D V3.1

I am not sure if I did something wrong or PMDG changed things but basically i don't have any more the 737 800 WL option as a plane in FSX (not the SE) and when i go to the PMDG operations I only see 800, 900, 900WL and the Poseidon. Not the 800 WL Moreover, the liveries available are just few whereas last time i checked there were many more.....am I hallucinating?
