Hi there, is there anybody feeling confident to create and publish a step by step guide for setting up ALL saitek controls to PMDG 737 with the use of 3ed party programs to let them perfectly work all together.there are a lot of us none PC guru and need some simple to read guide to let us enjoy the flying. a donation link would be great idea as will make satisfied people appreciate the help by donating some quids. As the topic suggests, is it possible to change the default pushback distance when using the built-in pushback feature in the NGX? I find the default distance a bit too short in most situations.

My Name is Roy Hayday Hello can you help me please I'm new to the PMDG 737-800 NGX. My flight sim is FSX. My problem is I load up the 737-800 and wait for the initialization to finish, to change the views I use the normal keyboard keys ie: F9.F10.F11.F12.& S to scroll through the various views. However when I start to programme the FMC all those keys fail to work and I'm unable to change view's, is there something I have forgotten to do. Regards Royann

Why are vehicles or other aircraft crashing into me while taxiing or in pushback. I can be stopped and a fuel truck will drive into my aircraft, or another aircraft runs into me, or I can be on the runway gaining takeoff speed and a truck will come across the runway and crash into me. I like the traffic and have the traffic sliders up to high. I have looked thru the FMC setup screens and can't find anything that relates. Is there something to be done about this? Thanks. Martin

Does anyone know how to add the TSS 737-800 sounds to PMDG 737. There is not one sound file like on some aircraft. Seems crazy to have to sift through and add sounds.

I have recently installed P3Dv3 and the correct PMDG 737 version. I have flown the PMDG 737 in FSX for years with no issues. But, in P3dv3, an big issue exists. I am unable to land using the ILS. Each approach finds the "needle" left of the correct position. I have everything configured correctly, but the aircraft does not line up correctly. I have searched for answers and have reinstalled the aircraft, but no luck. The problem continues. Does anyone have an answer for this? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you Michael

The SID out of rwy 05 North (SIROD 5N) (ARBOS 7N) procedure is, straight ahead R045 GVA - at 7000 or D8 GVA, Whichever is later, turn left. But the FMS data still has you proceeding outbound another 2nm to D9.5 GVA then it proceeds left, this is also shown for the SID chart? Why the two procedures? Or am i missing something guys?

I am looking for APU data ( such as temp etc ) similar to engine data. When the Lower DU is selected I press SYS then Brake Temperature,Rudder and much more is indicated on the EICAS What I am looking for ( if at all possible ) is to see the parameters for the APU on the EICAS. Any idea how to do this ? HubertWerni

Have this problem again, can't remember the solution. Pressurization module altitudes all go to dashes and "Autofail" lights, along with warning beep. Can someone refresh my memory as to what causes this ? I tried to check FAQs and forums but didn't seem to recall any suggestions. Dave Hinson

I had to do a Windows 10 clean install thus having to reinstall FSX. Everything has worked perfect until installing the NGX. Everytime I fly it, when exiting the flight, FSX has a fatal error, Faulting module path: C:\FSX\GAUGES\PMDG_737NGX.DLL Odd part, did not have this issue before and have no idea what could cause it. Does not happen with any other aircraft. When it does, it causes a reboot of FSX and the flight does not get recorded in the flight log. Does anyone have any ideas on this? i would be very appreciative. Have logged a ticket with PMDG (082-1E4A7600-0407) with no reply from them so far. Thank you.

Hello, I just purchased the 737 base, soon after the first flight I experienced random crashes which are a little out of statistics (if we consider that I never had a sim crash for months until today..). I have very little information to share as I don't have any log, it's just prepar3d returning to the desktop (stop working). I'm using Prepared v3.1, and the crashes have happend in this two conditions: while adding a waypoint on the CDU (aircraft on the ground), and when flying while entering the STAR... so I suspect (but I may be wrong) that it has something to do with the route/cdu. I've been having trouble recently with the 737 and 777 when attempting to play online. Both aircraft load up and run perfectly fine in free flight but when I load up the aircraft and attempt to fly online my displays stay black and nothing is clickable, let alone functional. I am running the aircraft on the Steam Edition of FSX. As I recall they had worked fine at one point but for whatever reason, when I attempted to fly the last few days the aircraft do not properly load in multiplayer. It appears the altitude is calculated above ground. TOD in A​SN reads FL 310 winds 245/061/-43C NIPZO 4000 winds 160/6/+7C SUNST 4300 winds 160/6/+8.7C KIMME 10000 winds 205/12/+8.7 CHIPZ 14300 234/25/-1.2C ... and so on back up... then back down again. The TOD is fine, but then its like I'm descending into the mountains, then I cross the mountains and I'm back in the air. I remember this profile is what it was like last time I flew into Vegas from LA, but I didn't have ASN and instead used the default weather engine and picked off stations. How are you supposed to enter this into the descent forecast in the FMC?​

hi, I have been a long time simmer but never beyond the default FSX planes and recently got the 737NGX which is very exciting and i think i finally mastered the tutorial 1 flight, meaning doing it without manual. Anyway, my question to you all is what is your preferred source of charts for flight planning? where do you get your SID STARS and airways mostly from? I googled around and there are many and i think i could put together a few things from this and that website but is there a specific and comprehensive nav web site where one can get all the info? thank you

Hello Please could someone kindly assist. The readouts in the center pedestal displays of the PMDG NGX, e.g.Nav, Radio etc are very dim and I cannot find a dim/brightness knob to adjust this anywhere. i have seen a youtube video from PMDG that suggests its one of two knobs at the rear left of the center pedestal, but these seem to make no difference when I turn themthem. I'm using Win7, FSX in DX10 with Adams Fixer if that makes a difference? Thanks in anticipation Andrew

I've been thinking about getting the AOA NGX Training as I'd like to finally really get to know the 737 in much greater depth than I currently know and understand it. I've read some of the reviews and watched some of the stuff on YouTube. All seems good. But, before I buy, I figure I'd ask just to make sure I haven't missed something somewhere along the line...is this the best source to learn the aircraft other than reading the FCOM? I definitely prefer to learn in this type of format. I don't think there's anything else out there, is there? If it is the best, anyone see any good deals on it anywhere? I see PCAviator has it for $50. That's better than buy direct from AOA…

Rather new still to all this! Using the 737NGX I decided to save a flight at TOC and end the flight. When I loaded the flight from FSX all hell broke lose and I progressed into a rather swift dive! Shouldn't the panel state load with the associated flight? And if not how do you get round the problem? Many thanks!

It is only a small detail,nevertheless I am interested in an answer. I select NGX Long and ask for a pushback which is no problem ( APU not running ) GSX : when asking for a push back I am forced to start the APU,otherwise it will not work.
