Sorry, but i just don't like it.It is not a real airplane. It reminds me of a 'dodgem' car as compared to a real car.Purely an emotional response and devoid of any logic but there you have it.

Not trying to start the old "Flight" is a gold coin game-- but watching this video of an old game, it sure seems similar to Flight-- from the "islands" theme, to the demanding female voiceover, to the "aerocache" things....

AVSIM.....I NEED YOUR HELP!!!This will be my first thread out of many weeks lurking and posting.I need to know this one thing....On the steerman, There is a challenge where you have to climb to 3000 feet, stall on your left wing, bring throttle back to idle and hit your left rudder as far as it can go into a spin to the ground and recover.My issue is...I have the Saitek Yoke and Throttle Quadrent setup and use my keyboard for a more realistic and accurate rudderWhen I stall and go into a spin, the spin does not occur and I always fail the job.How do I do this for consecutive spins(I need at least 3) to pass the course?Do I need to have a bit of throttle while I am aiming …

I am not sure if it is self evident or not but the ENB series bloom also works in flight the same way it does in FSX. For me it added a lot to the lighting. Without the bloom I found Flight to be honest using the same kinda bleak colored textures that FSX does. It looked nothing like Orbx to me which IMHO still beats any scenery made by man. But adding the ENB bloom to Flight sure helped a lot.Cheers,Alex

I saved a flight at Ford Isl. and selected it this morning. Just as a started to taxi out to the RWY a high wing aircraft (172 - 182) on climb out right right in front of me. That has to be a good thing.Roy

Although flight works fine in full screen mode it only runs in a third of the screen when in windows mode and the maximize button is grayed out. What must I do to be able to maximize the window size to fill the screen when in windows mode?Sorry about the stupid question obviously I only need to stretch the windows to any size :Hypnotized:

When restarting this mission via the "restart mission" button after either crashing or landing but wanting a better score the Maule's engine is off and it won't restart. So I'm at the mercy of the winds with no engine power. Only until I exit the mission back to map and restart it from there does the Maule have engine power again.Very fun challenge BTW.

Hi,I have finally installed (and unstalled) Flight yesterday. One of the reasons for not keeping it for me were 2 sections in the license agreement. But maybe some of you already have some experience and are able to lift my concerns.1) The license agreement stated that Flight is not sold, but only licensed to 1 system. I did not see if it is possible to move an existing copy of Flight and addons to a new system (e.g. in case you update your hardware). Does anyone know if it will be possible to move Flight to a new system, or would you have to pay for all addons again?2) According to the license agreement all changes to overcome limitations of the program are prohibited. I could have sworn they said this would be available in the Spring but see no mention of it now.Am I going mad/blind or have they silently removed that part?

I just did the kayak mission, and I must have gotten about six aerocaches along the way. Two of which I had to park the plane and get out so I could hike to them :)I have to admit, I'm surprised at how few missions are in Flight. I thought with the goal being trying to attract more people by giving them more to do, there would be tons of missions. The jobs are just point-to-point, so I don't really count them.

Ok, so what am I doing wrong here?-below 1000'-all lights and avionics are off except a small amount of panel light-I have engine rpm at about 50% (don't know if this matters for this job since lower rpm = quieter engine)Everytime I get within 15-20 nm of the destination the fuzz airplane hones in on me without fail. The passenger says to evade the airplane so I try to move around a bit but that doesn't help.

I have been sending any glitches I find to [email protected] far, I haven't found many. They are:1. GUI/Map bug - when changing to the map, sometimes the view shoots off downward with no input from me. I have to drag it back with the mouse2. Aerocache sensor bug - The aerocache sensor never stays displayed when I select it to do so. I have to escape and tick and un-tick it to get it back.3. Removal of misson texts - I discovered I could get rid of the graphic and subtitles by turning off subtitles, POI and text chat. They come back randomly in missions (or is that right?)4. Night-time lighting - there are weird lights all over the place at night; not near buildings…

Am i seeing more activity on the FLIGHT forum than the FSX forum? Not sure, but it seems that way.Stan

I have a dream ...Just think what sort of improvement would be if Microsoft Flight could be connected to world photographic maps (and I think to remember that Bing maps are owned by Microsoft themselves)Photoreal scenery is the best, no match for any synthetic or landclass one ... it would be a major improvement, also easily achievable ... the photo maps could be connected online to the "game", or sold by zones ... 1 meter/pixel resolution is the standard for many countriesExample screen: Lake of Vico, central Italy, FSX on a 4-years old laptop with 256 Mb Vram video card, 2 meters/pixel photoreal scenery, no autogen

FLIGHT has at least brought us some activity, and revelations....Austin turns out to be a funny guy, and, all of a sudden, the new miracle of flight simulation ends up being revealed...This is way too much for me on a single day... going to bed right away... I need to get some rest.... :Liar:

I have just bought the Logicom Force 3D Pro joystick but its so sensive and I can't adjust it. Is there a way to make it less sensitive? especially when I try to turn the aircraft left or right. The program that came with it can only adjust the force feedback but nothing else.stelios

Hi everybody,I have read a lot about Flight and FSX and comparasions between these two plataforms.When a new game is released you expect it to be awesome, innovative, with so much more than previous game releases in order to succeed in todays market.Could someone here please post the real new features this game has, but please, don't write about enhacements, as long as I'm looking for real outstanding new features, not improvements, fixes etc. Improvements, fixes are for existing games, upgrades not for new ones.What makes this game outstanding, different, innovative. Please don't start comparasions, because we should not compare and old obsolete plataform with a new one…

Ok so while the skip function can be useful in some long flights, cept where you lose bonus points on jobs, and I am glad we have it - is it just me or does anyone else find it annoying that the message to " Press N to skip" is constantly displayed in the 3d cockpit?I would be ok, if it would display briefly after passing the point where that feature is available - but to have it constantly displayed during the whole flight?Course I guess someone will come along and inform me there is a way to turn that off lol.Kind of takes away a little from the immersion aspect - I just finished flying a job , carrying 3 passengers to a destination on another island - can't remember e…

Sometimes, not rarely but certainly occasionally, when I cycle through my view and it gets to the top down view, the image of my plane I am currently flying starts rising up directly toward me and keeps rising up until it eventually gets to the very top of the view - a very close up image, and then dissappears...Anyone else notice this behavior and I wonder is this just a bug in this view?

Does anyone else have any suggested remappings for the controls?I've mapped a bunch of my most used commands to the Number pad:7/1 - Mixture Increase/Decrease9/3 - Prop Increase/Decrease4/6 - Eyepoint Left/Right8/2 - Elevator Trim Nose Down/Up0 - Cockpit View. - Top-Down View5 - Reset CameraI'm still considering functions to map to the *, /, +, and - keys. I had added zoom in/out to + and -, but the Mouse Wheel is much better for that.My joystick only has 5 buttons aside from the trigger, so those are mapped to flaps up/down, next camera, landing gear, and voice transmit (from CTRL+TAB).Anyone else have recommended remappings or suggestions for those precious few joystick…

Does "Live" mean that the updates to the base Flight program and/or the DLC's will get automatically updated should you chose to do so, kinda like Windows updates ?
