Here's the deal- I have a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro and I need some help. I always used the hat switch to look around in FSX and in Flight. However, in Flight, the pan rate is very slow and kinda stuttery (I hold the right mouse and move it and it's smooth) compared to FSX. This seemed to even get worse since the update yesterday. What Configs do I need to edit? Anyone else have this problem? I like to look around at a decent realistic speed, y'know?

The moderators will likely delete this for naming the person.....but can anyone tell me how someone could join my open multiplayer game, then buzz me endlessly, then purposely knock me out of the sky. The idiot is MRKLEE69, at 10:16 EDST today......and I thought all children would be in school at this time!

I have 10 or 11 now and the record is not being updated since the big update! They are showing as not compleated. I know I saw something about this earlyer but can't seem to find it.

Hi Guys, I found a bug in the the CH Pedals that I worked around in the previous version. The problem was that, by default, Flight incorrectly assigns the X and Y axis (should be left and right brakes) of the pedals to the ailerons and elevator. Even if they are already assigned to the joystick. So if you move the rudder and use a little toe by mistake, you get all kinds of crazy erratic behavior. The fix is to delete the X and Y axis statements for the CH Pedals from the STANDARD.XML file. While I was at it... I tried assigning the X and Y axis to the left and right brake pedal functions. I decided to fly a few aerocaches today and the first I did was the A/C of the day. Easy to get and even flew back to the airport and landed. When I went to load another cache, it did not show that I had completed the aforementioned cache. I flew the cache again, and the same thing happened. I kept getting points for it, however. This same thing occurred on the other four caches I flew. I didn't get the check mark for completion. This showed up when I exited the game and came back in. My A/C count was reset to what it was before I started today. Very strange. I did a system reboot, and had the same results. I have just turned on my computer, and looked again. No …

Ok, I just flew my first job with the new update and I think I noticed a stealth change... I have the Destination Marker turned off, so when I land I'm used to having to taxi around the ramp a bit trying to find the unmarked "correct" parking spot to use (or just hit "N" after giving up in frustration). This time, as soon as the aircraft entered the ramp area, I got a prompt to "park the aircraft." I drove all around the ramp to every parking spot and the prompt never changed. I finally stopped the aircraft and got the prompt to shut down. I'm about to try another couple of jobs to see if they're all like that now. Has anyone else noticed this?

I LOVE flying through the clouds in IFR. When MS Flight came out I had to try a situation I'm sure many VFR pilots would rather not get into. This was just a test of how flying through the thick fog acted on my senses. I was totally impressed with the way the movement appeared through the cloud. To my eyes, it gave the sense that I was flying faster than I really was. In real life I have a private pilot's license but not many hours at all. I was going through IFR Training back in the early 1990's but I just couldn't afford to keep it going. I keep my license updated. If I do plan to fly for real I'll go to a local FBO and get go through a BFR with an instructor. …

Hey, I just tried the update after seeing Gason's post, and I'm sure they've modified the graphics options! A new selection, maximum, that from what I can see, adds heaps more objects! It still runs real well on my 3yo pc and 560 gpu. Very impressive. Tell me if I'm goin mad... I know xplane well, and this update makes it look like it, with all the thousands of objects. But I swear the airports also are improved in look....

I can land the icon and Maule on the new aircraft carrier at Honolulu but the Vans runs out of deck and flips into the sea. Can anyone tell me the technique to landing the Vans on the deck, please ??

Gang, I don't know if this is just me, or perhaps it was already like this before the update - I don't think so though. This has happened to me a couple times already, once in a Job, and the second time in Free Flight. In the job, I chose the Maule and set fuel level to 50%. Clicked to start the job, once in the aircraft I was taxiing and happened to look at my fuel level, and it was 100%. I just went in and selected the Stearman in the hangar, and set my fuel level to 50%. I chose Free Flight , and selected Honolulu to take off from. When the flight loaded, once again my fuel level - in the Stearman this time, had changed to 100%. I do not recall tha…

I am probably bringing up the rear here, but am pleased to say that today, after app 39 hours in Flight, I have finally reached Level 20.While I don't put much stock into that fact, I do feel good about it - because I did it mainly by flying challenges, like landing, aerobatics - all the included missions - and jobs. The jobs were some of the Stearman tours, many were carrying passenger or cargo in the Maule. Most recently these jobs in the Maule, I flew by following the complete checklists for the plane. Gave me a nice sense of gratification doing them this way...I did not do a lot of coin collecting, or hoop flying. Heck I have not even done the first Aerocache Hunt as…

friends, any idea how to get that achievement with the existing aircraft? thought it could only be done with the icon? any other recommendation? also, 29kts headwind is the most I could get so far, are you aware of any settings/areas with higher wind. those 29 do not drive the icon backwards so far. or am I doing something wrong?

As stated, the devs aren't planning to create the entire world at this point. Big jets will come out as soon as we have enough land to fly through. I've unlocked 3 achievements today, but they only seem to unlock when i restart the game? Has anyone else had this weird problem?I don't know if it's something to do with my profile? but how would i know if it's that?

When update is complete and I'm requested to close game, I get this: ""Microsoft Flight encountered an error while initializign its systems." The program will now exit. And If I start Flight again it begins with updating and end again with this error. It was working great till now.

Just reached 4,014,243 XP tonight. A lot of XP was put up because I am always trying to beat my personal best time in the 3 gold rush challenges. My best time scores to date is Hilo with 52 seconds to spare. Wind Farm with 40 seconds to spare and Ford Island with only 23 seconds to spare. ( all flown in the Icon. ) Also managed to get Bronze, Silver and Gold in all 16 landing challenges. (many times) All (85) aerocaches to date and only 2 achievements left to get. (4 of those have not been unlocked yet because of a bug.) 62 of the 106 awards. Have clocked up 122 hours of flight. It's now time to take it easy and do more multiplayer flying and really looking…

After I updated today, I found this in the start menu: Redeem code. It says that you can enter a code, either from a store or a digital retailer....... Comments anyone......?

Hi there. When I started Flight today, found a new update. My new wersion is 1.0.1.30023. After the install I was informed that my settings for the controls was out of date. Hmmmm...I decided to update. Well, I use Saitek controls and had to remap everything. Have not checked for any improvements in the "game", but think the clouds looks better....
