April 2, 201214 yr Gang, I don't know if this is just me, or perhaps it was already like this before the update - I don't think so though. This has happened to me a couple times already, once in a Job, and the second time in Free Flight. In the job, I chose the Maule and set fuel level to 50%. Clicked to start the job, once in the aircraft I was taxiing and happened to look at my fuel level, and it was 100%. I just went in and selected the Stearman in the hangar, and set my fuel level to 50%. I chose Free Flight , and selected Honolulu to take off from. When the flight loaded, once again my fuel level - in the Stearman this time, had changed to 100%. I do not recall that ever happening prior to this update? Maybe someone else can verify as well? Thanks, PS: I really really like the changes the Flight Team made to the controller sensitivites. With how my Cougar is set up, it is perfect for me - so far I have tested in the RV6, the Maule, and the Stearman. It is so much better. A newcommer to Flight with a joystick, should find it much easier now to control the aircraft. Hat's off to the Flight Team for making this adjustment. (I will add though, my axis are not totally linear, I do have my Cougar programmed in the software for all my flight sims, to have a little curve in the aileron, elevator, and rudder axis. Mine is set to where the response around neutral starts out a little slower, and then gradually speeds up the further along the axis it travels.) Don B
April 2, 201214 yr I haven't been able to reproduce the fuel bug in the Stearman. I didn't have the HUD up, but the fuel gauge shows the correct amount of fuel I set in the hangar. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
April 2, 201214 yr I've never been able to set the fuel in Plane selection when doing a job. It always goes back to what it was on the last trip. So for me it's not new.
April 2, 201214 yr Author Hmm ok then, must just be something I had not observed before. Thanks guys, Don B
April 2, 201214 yr Hey Don, this might sound stupid of me but i'm just trying to be helpful: for each different livery, there is a different fuel setting meaning that you have to select that very livery you intend to fly with, set an amount of fuel and click select aircraft. So if you were in your hangar prior to mission select screen and you chose a certain livery and set fuel to 50% and then went to job board and selected a different livery, the amount of fuel will not be the same as for another livery. Sorry for my English, it's not my native language so i hope you understand what i am trying to tell you :) Cheers
April 2, 201214 yr Author Hey Don, this might sound stupid of me but i'm just trying to be helpful: for each different livery, there is a different fuel setting meaning that you have to select that very livery you intend to fly with, set an amount of fuel and click select aircraft. You know come to think of it, I think on those two flights I experienced this in I did select a different livery. Thanks Eevun, that explains it! Btw, your english is very good! Don B
April 2, 201214 yr Btw, your english is very good! No need to say that. Everyone has their own advantages and disadvantages. Don't feel ashamed that you're English isn't that good (It's actually pretty good in fact). I have problems myself composing writing for English and I'm a true born Canadian. April 2, 201214 yr Sorry for my English, it's not my native language I would never have guessed. Your English is probably better than miine. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
April 2, 201214 yr I think i'm starting to blush guys Thank you for being nice :) @Dburne: Don, you are very welcome. Glad i could be of assistance. I remember having the same thing happening to me until i realized that it's in direct relation to livery. Flight recognizes it as a "different" plane. That is why in your pilot profile it says that you have flown much more unique aircraft than there actually is in the game. It registers every livery as a plane for itself. Cheers :)
April 3, 201214 yr Author Good to know Eevun, I had not played around much with the different liveries until today and of course that was after the patch, so that made me think it was related to the patch. Thanks again, Don B
