First, let me say first that I have no inside knowledge about Flight whatsoever. What are the chances that Alaska will be a separate menu item from Hawaii, and you won't be able to fly between them even if you have an aircraft with the necessary range?While I can't imagine them doing this, I also can't see any way for the current map system to handle two areas 2000 miles apart in any kind of convenient manner. If they do make separate "games" out of each area, what statistics would you expect to be tracked separately for each? For example, you'll never get 1,000,000 passengers flying in just one area. But other stats like the achievement for landing at every airport, or…

Logged in this morning and was presented with a Flight update........I thought cockpits.......I was mistaken it was some sort of redeem code access............updated anyway and couldn't see anything else new.

I would like to make a map of Hawaiian islands with all airports which are available in MS Flight. Perhaps is best to make screenshot of islands, than write all data of airports and then put everything on paper. I really miss that option while in-flight.

Boy, long flight. Did not use the "skip to next waypoint" until the way back to Hilo. No chashes, 2 stops for fuel just to be on the safe side. Only lost 500 points for not correctly fallowing the ridge line overlooking Honolulu. If I were to do in again I would not make the long clime and circle the Observatory at 13,000+ feet with full fuel. I was down to about 40 mph with full power and full flaps, almost stalled out before the potog said he had enough pictures. Glad to be going down hill again!

Checklists for the Vans RV-6A Hybrid between MS Flight and actual checklists. I have rearranged the order of items, added some and removed others. Designed for realism in MS Flight and simplicity. Still a work in progress and could use some additional emergency procedures. The flaps settings should be standardized to either percentage or degrees but there is no cockpit indicator, just a toggle switch.

EDIT: Fixed - just had to keep cancelling until got 'Log In with another account' button, use the correct account and get a new product key (which magically appeared out of nowhere) Not having used Flight for a week or so, tried again tonight and a, I can no longer log-in to Windows Live b, I can not run the game without logging in. I CAN log in to XBOX-live and to MSN from the same computer using the same credentials, but Flight will simply not play the game. Almost certainly the problem is that I had to change the email address for my account, which was done through Microsoft's own pages and without problem, but Flight is insisting on the old name …

Ever since Styckx flew off the map to French Frigate Shoals and brought back some pictures, I've been thinking about heading out to look for Johnston Atoll. However, my big fear was that without NavAids I might fly several hours and then just blow right past it without seeing the island. Well, with the arrival of GMap for Flight, I could now put a moving map GPS in the Maule and off I went...I climbed to 14,500' and took a heading of 240. Weather was set to clear to minimize winds and give me a better view of the surface. When starting a new flight, my airplane immediately crashes as the program initiates the flight. It seems that the airplane is not being started at the correct elevation with respect to the ground and this is being interpreted as a crash. Then, my pilot record is updated with a additional crash. I also get stuck in the fly by view as a result.(A work around fix has already been found for this)Has anyone dealt with this bug?

I've been doing a lot of biplane sightseeing tours and have been wondering if other people are flying them and enjoying them as much as I am.When all I had was the main island, they weren't my favorite activity. Okay...I gotta know if it's just me. Any time my mouse passes over an image, the image starts to spin around. I'm using Chrome, and this doesn't seem to be happening at other sites, but some of the other forums here do the same thing. Anyone else?

Does anyone know of a place to check the Flight server status? I'm currently unable to connect to the Microsoft Flight Server, although I'm connected to Live no problem. I checked out the Flight support page and went to a Server Status page that lists a ton of MS servers... just not the one for Flight.

Hi,When it seems appropriate I've been flying the recent aerocaches at night. I always land at the closest airport after locating the cache and have been very impressed with how realistically everything is lit up by the landing lights. I've taxied around extensively, looking for anything on which the effect isn't rendered properly. Haven't been able to locate anything yet.My congratulations to those responsible for this really great effect!Jim F.

Today, I'm trying the 'job-board' jobs, never tried before.But whenever a aircraft is selected, it simply disappeared and can't proceed to flight!I'm on the korean locale of Win7 64bit. On the english locale, there is no problem.Also other similar locales tested such like japanese, chinese.. same problem occured.It is only my problem? I hope the dev team check this..

Back when I was takeing flight instruction for my PLL in a C-150. I was told that if the rudder controls failed you could control yaw by opening the doors in flight, it works. Also by working the power setting you could land but you would be really busy on approach. Now it looks like you can only one door in the Maule so you would always yaw left, that wold make it interesting. Ok, off track, back to the "R" key. You can leave the aircraft in flight and control it in R/C mode. you can retern to the cockpit view anytime just by changing your view. Just found it ineresting and fun.Guess I should have read it over first, hate when that happens.

I want a female copilot. When I look around I hate seeing an empty seat next to me so PLEASE Microsoft, add a copilot.I fly FSX and xplane 10 but am highly addicted to MSFLIGHT. I just love this program so give me an female copilot.Dick

In my opinion the biggest thing missing from flight is a damage/failure model (for structure and systems) and I can't quite understand the reasoning behind leaving it out. Even if it was like the damage in FSX (just stopping the game) it would of added so much. Is it even going to get put in? Ok so there have been 2 DLC's now for Flight both of which were WW2 War-Birds with no cockpits, I will let the polls prior speak for how people and myself feel about that. I sometimes get random white flashes during flights. Seems like some sort of strobe light or maybe the sun from behind, but it's odd because the light falls on everything in the VC... Can't be a strobe or beacon or the sun, it seems to me... I can fly for ages without those flashes and then suddenly I have them. It seems to happen mostly when the sun is behind me, but it can't be the sun... Is this some kind of bug maybe? Anyone else has this too?

You are supposed to takeoff with the first down notch (24 degrees) and the move up to 0 degrees for climb out and then -7 degrees for cruise and fuel economy.Brian

I invited my wife into my game, as she was starting a mission. So I had night time setting etc... and she continued on with her daytime scripted mission. Everything seems fine, except that I was able to see her A/C on the ground crashed in a grassy area during her mission. After her mission was complete, she appeared in my night time scenario. She was able to see me in my actual position but her position was wrong for me, for some her previous A/C position never reset on my screen.So now when I go to the 'home screen' and then back to the game, on my screen I get to watch her little Icon drop out of the sky and crash like nobody is in piloting it. When trying to fly in Flight, my yoke seems to be making the plane go all over the place. Also, the rudder is fully deflected to the left.It seems to work fine in FSX and American Long Haul Wheels of Steel.Is there something I can do?

When in the various menus,sometimes the top third of my screen flashes, like maybe something is running on the desk top, but when I alt-tab to the desk top there's nothing there. I don't recall getting it while flying as I'm having such severe yoke problems, I'm concentrating on trying to keep the plane in the air.I'm using nhancer 2.5.7 with nvidia drivers 285.62.btw, should I be setting anything particular in nhancer other than what I have set for FSX?

Hey gang,I have been trying to make sure I use the appropriate checklists for the jobs I am flying in the Maule.Regarding the ignition on switch, I seem to struggle getting it to start. I click on it with the mouse, click it and move it up with the mouse, and it is like I have to keep doing it till it finally takes and fires up.What am I missing here? I know sometimes it says left, sometimes right, sometimes both when hovering the mouse over it. I am sure there is probably a specific way to start it with the mouse and be consistant when doing so?Thanks for any tips here,
