V3.3.5 running perfectly!
I'm scared to post here in case I jinx up my setup, but now it's too late! Is there such a thing as jinxed by association? What should I do?

CPU going through the roof
SpiritFlyer replied to threexgreen's topic in System Hardware: PC | MOBO | RAM | CPU | HDD | SSD | PSU etcHello Canuck, Am not sure about a few things that may be relevant; 1. What Operating System? 2.What Motherboard and Bios version and settings of virtual cores? 3. Which FS Platform and series (FSX or P3D version) 4. What GPU and Driver? 5. What speed of overclock if any? Kind regards,

60 Minutes look at the F35
Hi Matthew, good to see you. Apparently another offer is in the making from others, but who knows. Trudeau campaigned against the F35 but after elected backed-down from the back-out, sort-of. I expect something a bit more solid will be forthcoming before parliament resumes.. Kind regards,

60 Minutes look at the F35
Thank you for those helpful observations about Canada and our military ranking Pete. Much appreciated! All the more, since we do have limited funds available, it is necessary for us to make the right decisions in our military procurement. Whether or not to continue with the F35 program is painful, as others have pointed out, due to considerations regarding cost/benefit per F35 copy, and the timetable for sufficient numbers required for full RCAF implementation. Kind regards,

60 Minutes look at the F35
Excellent conversation! As a Canadian my country has been caught in the gray foggy middle ground of the valley of indecision with the F35. The more Canadians are told about it, the less certain we seem to be. One thing for certain, if we go this route the Royal Canadian Air Force will be very small. Indeed, The F35, if adopted by the RCAF, will result in far fewer aircraft at a much later date than otherwise would have been. I don't know what we should do, let alone have an informed opinion on its adoption for others. I am quite underwhelmed, but admittedly in a gray fog about it, like many of us might be. Kindest regards

Nope! Yup!

question on piracy
To say that "I would have paid for something if I had liked it" is like saying "I would not have lied if I had not been caught". Nonsense! Piracy is piracy. It is a crime, always was and always will be, no matter which flag you fly. Kind regards,

What options and settings do you want in DTG Flight Simulator? (Official Discussion)
Gee Jimmy, I don't know if your ultimatum will matter a whole lot to the developers and community when you introduce your objections this way. As far as you threatening them through your connections with a lot of the really important people in the community and industry that you say you can influence by your displeasure is really kind of funny. You could be surrounded by substantial flight simulation authorities and influential personalities within this very thread and apparently you wouldn't even know it. However I will watch for Bill Gates and if he backs you up will be most impressed! It will turn out to be whatever it will turn out to be. Anyway have some fun. Its just a hobby, and we are a voluntary type community of the heart, so why not holster your guns. kind regards,

Prepar3d v2.5 vs X-plane 10.35
After pondering the insightful analysis presented by some within this thread, I think there is a huge pending sea change that may swing things deep and wide in X-plane's favour, depending.. If P3D v4 and/or DTS Next are 64 bit but are not backward compatible for accumulated FSX and/or P3D version 3.x add-ons such as ORBX and Aerosoft etc., the hobby will divide, split and separate into various divisions along the following lines: -FSX (steady erosion of base, declining) -FSX-SE (erosion of initial base and buy-in, declining) -P3D 4.x (unknown but if bare and not backwards compatible, limited hobby growth) -P3D 3.x (If static and/or officially unsupported or marketed, declining) -DTS FS (Wild card, but if bare and not backwards compatible, limited growth but unknown) -Other partial simulations, platforms (like Aerofly) and games breaking into the marketplace X-Plane ( Will likely keep base, and increase market share from former FSX, FSX-SE, P3D v. 3.x customers) So, all this change is likely to put rocket boosters under X-Plane if they aggressively pursue those who are negatively effected. In some respect the greater the chaos amongst the others, the greater the opportunity for X-Plane to jump in the driver's seat...maybe! Just thinking... Kind regards,

LOLOLOL!!! It's obvious that a there is a lot of boredom and irritation going around! Something I always wondered and might as well ask as it is every bit as logical as the original form of the survey: What's a dove's tail have to do with anything? https://www.bing.com/search?q=dovetail&form=EDGHPC&qs=PF&cvid=f90fc6b128eb455db7a4b4ea7d663c7e&pq=dovetail Kind regards, Stephen PS: No harm was intended with this jest.
