HelloI can run fsx ok i guess but i want to try get more better performance out of it i avrage around 30fps (externally locked) but terrible graffics (due to 4870). I plan on upgrading from stock cooling to either the A70 or H70.I've only ever taken it to 3.2ghz using Turbo-V but intent on properly overclocking when cooling upgraded.My current build as follows:CPU: Intel Core i7 920 @ stock MOBO: Asus P6T SE Intel X58GPU: XFX ATI Radeon 4870 1GBRAM: 6GB Patriot Viper X DDR3-1600PSU: XFX Black Edition 850 Watt Power supplyCASE: Antec 300

Hi everybody.I'm trying to add an airport to PMDG navdata files (because it's not there of course), but I'm having some problems with the wpnavapt.txt. The Airport.dat, SIDSTARS and all the other files went ok and I entered all the precise XX.XXXXXX coordinate numbers, thanks to ADE9X, and frequencies too, but the wpNavAPT.txt is giving me some hard time. I know some numbers are the coordinates, others are heading, which I have identified, and others are lengh, but which is which? Can someone explain me? PS.: Can one of the mods take that "d" away from the first "and" and the part "and its procedures" from the title, please? I just like things to be... right. :( I'm a li…

Hello guys Some may wonder the post title, why ipad / iphone and why PMDG, and not generalize to other brands. But I explain: 1. ipad / iphone because for us, here in the south of the equator, it may be easier to acquire, taking into account other equipment "touch"; 2. PMDG only because to me, no other aircraft that are equivalent. So if it works in the PMDG addons for me is good. Hi EveryoneI did a new install of my CRJ Regional Jet Vol 1. Now it seems that when I load the 700 (the most popular one) it causes an error msg with FSX, then closes - any idea why? Especially when the 200 and 900 are working fine ... I've tried another livery - still happens. Any help will be appreciated. FSX - Windows 7 64-bit Warren

Ciao to all,I beg your help...I use FS9 with 737 PMDG....I had installed the weather radar "reality XP WX500" on the EICAS of the 737-700 PMDG...I used it for years...yesterday, as soon as I loaded FS I had an error msg telling that some a/c will not diplay correctly the guage.Infact now I get the gauge NOT in the EICAS of the PMDG 737-700 but apart...I tried to reisntall che "panel.cfg" file in the "panel VC" foulder of the "aircraft" (737-700PMDG) without any success...Any idea?Please.....

I have REX and the Realair Duke. I used the lighting option for it in REX. I am now flying my 747X and changed the lighting option to Zeon Intense, nav lights, beacon, stobe, but the lighting is very low. If I buy the shock wave lighting will it work with REX and give me the bright lighting? When I searched the topic I got that REX was a problem with the 747X and not the other aircraft. The 747X is the only aircraft that I have lighting problems and I assume that it is because of REX. I want to be certain before I buy shockwave that it will fix the problem with my 747X. I posted a thread with some PMDG 747-400X screenshots.I find today that post has been removed. Why?I looked at the forum rules and it says no where that screenshots of PMDG aircraft are not allowed.Jeez, I tried to post something nice from the usual complaining that's been going on and it gets removed with no explanation.What gives?

I am trying to install acceleration pack for FSX, but it says I have to uninstall Sp2. When I try to do that with control panel I get an error stating "A network error occured while attempting to read from file C:\Windows\installer\FSX_SP2_ENU.MSI. Could someone help me with this?:(

Just got back from a quick trip to my house in Bahrain to gauge the situation out there. To cut a long story short, after doing a quick flight I decided I couldn’t go another couple of months without flightsim so packed my main FS PC and flight controls into a ‘Massive suitcase’ and hoped for the best lol! Anyway as you can imagine it didn’t survive the trip! I removed the hard drive and carried it as hand luggage but my GPU became unseated and after rebooting my machine back in London it’s dead..So.. time for a new GPU, I already have a Sandybridge CPU running at 4ghz and 4gig of ram but I am still sticking with FS9 until the 777 goes beta. My system is also win xp 32…

hi just got my new msi gtx 560 ti and i cant set my aa in fsx nvidia inspector drivers 270 i follow ryan steps from pmdg but my inspector 195.5 is diferent in setting names, any help would be great feeerpicture att thanks

Not sure if this is the right catagory for this post but here it goes. I am a private pilot based in the NE and have been flying PMDG's md11 and js41 for quite a while and are just incredible. I've used both a/c's supplied weight and balance software and given loadsheet and was wondering, more for the md, how variable items such as potable water and the catered food are factored into the weight and balance? are they just added as a seperate zone similar to the passengers' weights? thanks

I'm coming back into fsx after a break. The Config Manager seems to be stuck on 8i and 8f and will not reflect any changes after saving and re-opening. Animation is being investigated but so far no joy. No animations. Is this sounding like a total re-install?Jon

Good morning everyone!Maybe some of you Technic-Gurus can help me out of this.After upgrading my GC from GTX280 to GTX470 my overall FSX performance has greatly improved.BUT the performance when using some 3rd party planes, especially the PMDG 744 or even those POSKY Airbusses drops down to about 30- fps (in external Views).Before upgrading i had around 60+ fps using the same addons and views.
