Ok seeing as this plane is going to be insanely real enabling users to use the actual 737 manuals. Is there any chance this plane can be used as a media tool to promote the FS world. I mean surely media outlets would find this a news worthy story. Basically I feel the release of this plane is a new era for the FS world.

Hello PMDG-Team!My last information is that there will be a 2D Panel. So far I haven´t seen any 2D-Panel Shot. I hope you didn´t change your mind and there will be a 2D-panel as I´m a multi-monitor user.Would be nice if you have some informations about the 2D Panel. Is it still under construction and will it be similar to the MD11 style or more in the JS41 way?Thank you,Holger

Wouldn't this be very very cool to have with the NGX? Didn't even know that something like this was available for civilian aircraft. Goodbye autoland :Phttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UBV06hse2fI&feature=relatedCheers

I know you do not normally do this till release but it seems like the NGX is 90% of all the discussions in the general forum.Just a thought.

Hey, ryan, real quick Question. I run my fsx on a Asus G72GX Gaming Laptop with an Intel Duo Core P8700 running at 2.53gz. Theres a local computer store here in miami selling a Intel Duo core T9900 running at 3.06gz at a price I can afford. My question is this. How much improvement will I see in frames if I get the new processor. I currently get 16-22fps @ Uk2000 EGLL with UT2 at 50% with the PMDG 747. Thanks

I have a question for all you, I just recently got AFX (airport facilitator x) and just updated KRSW (FSX only has the one side of the airport done) . I have all of the Gates and everything for the new terminal but I do not have the Terminal. I was wondering if there is any software for FSX that will allow you to create terminals. Thanks In Advance

Ryan,There has been a few posts in the last day or so in the PMDG forums as well as the FSX forum as to which models of the NGX are being done and shipped in the first release. From what I had read and if I remember correctly, it was going to be the 600 thru 900, with the BBJ being released as an expansion later. Are you guys at liberty to clarify as to which models will come in the "base pack" at release before anymore speculation on the forums gets out of hand saying that it will be only the -800?Regards,Sean Campbell

You (the reader of this post), with the hundreds of dollars you've spent on your hardware and software in the name of flight simming, are a passenger on a commercial flight.Halfway through the flight, the PA system comes on..The announcement asks for anyone with flight experience.Well your hand shoots up in the air. You've got thousands and thousands of simulated experience you say (and maybe some real hours here and there). But you've never flown a commercial jet before. The flight attendant explains that both the pilot and co-pilot are incapacitated. There is no backup pilot.. None of the flight attendant crew have any flight experience. Can you fly (let's just say Boeing …

I know this feature (Horizontal Spanning) was available in WinXp, now I can't seem to find it on 7. If anyone knows how to do this? I'd like to use both of my monitors as one big one so in the VC I can Pan around.

While I realise everyone is anticipating the release of the NGX, could I request that someone please take on a small project for those of us who still enjoy the FS9 version of the PMDG 737NG? Australian airliine Virgin Blue has recently changed its name and livery, so I was hoping someone could do some repaints for the 737-700 and -800 (winglets and no winglets) in these new colours? Pictures can be found on airliners.net, but I've included a link to one below...Link: ---http://www.airliners.net/photo/Virgin-Australia-Airlines/Boeing-737-81D/1913449/L/---

Hi all!A question:I have a purchased version of FSUIPC and I am using CH yoke for flying PMDG products. The thing is that I cant seem to find a way to make the yoke realistic and it either too sensitive or not enough sensitive.I googled and tried all the guides I found but nothing did the job.Is there a way to make it realistic, maybe someone have a CFG file for that?Thank you,Jonathan.

Greetings Everyone, After much absence from the FS world and this forum i am happy to say that my PC is in the repair shop and i should be getting it back soon all for the NGX :). Really excited about this one, i already have my first few flights planned (after training of course) I'm curious about something though. Considering that the lower eicas of the NG only has the ENG and STAT synoptics, how are the flight controls tested to ensure that the surfaces move in co-ordination to the movement of the yoke/rudder pedals? Also, how do they flight crew know what temperatures the landing gears are at? Thank you in advance

I love the new style landing lights the NGX has, hence the question I am about to ask. From what I understand, these style lights are actually part of the model of the a/c, which is the reason one couldn't have purcased the Lotus L-39 or any other addon a/c that currently uses those and then ported those lights to work in their other a/c.Is there any chance that the current PMDG offerings (747, JS4100, MD-11) could get a seperate model update to incorporate the new style lights and then applied as a small download or patch? I would love to see those in the JS4100 and 747.Thanks in advance.Sean Campbell

So, I understand that the AOM and the other Boeing manuals are available for sale in paper copies or will be available only with purchase. This question is not about those. This question is about the parts of the manual specific to this being a sim. Are those being released early or without purchase? The reason I ask is that the video you posted showed a fairly substantial change in the way in which the user interacts with the features on the plane, such as failure mode, etc. I'm assuming this material isn't in the Boeing side of things and there will be a few chapters on the features included. Is this something you could release before the plane, so that we can ma…

For those Impatient about the 737NGX Release, the CRJ-200 has just been released for X-plane! CRJ-200 . This is not a paid advertisement but from a user of both FSX and X-plane longing for a PMDG similar quality airplane in X-Plane. It seems the day has finally arrived!

Fantastically done. I can't wait to see it in full resoloution on my monitor! What is the problem with the HUGS? I watched them both a few times and can't see what some others were talking about. I think I'm experiencing sensory overload!Hiram Hunt

Gents,For today, there's a problem. I'm trying to click on that switch below but nothing happends unfortunately. I'm sure there's something wonderful behind that switch but I assume only PMDG knows how and when to switch that knob. I hope PMDG can help us soon by switching that knob, otherwise we need some more patience people ... Maybe we have to relaxe, take a break and let PMDG switch that knob itself, not we. We can't so we don't.In other words, people get some patience please. Stop asking or whining for screenshots or video's. If there is nothing to update, we don't get an update so don't expect for an update. And no! Also not now. Sometimes I think that people forge…
