Right now I am using the ifly 737 and when you load the plane with passengers there is no option for a setup like LCC have with no first class seating. because of this I cannot have a realistic load when flying a southwest route or any other LCC Will we be able to switch the seating layout when loading the plane?

Hi guys!I have seen in other threads some opinions about the upcoming release date. Some say it may be in just a few days, others say it may be in 2 weeks and others even talk about months. I want to analyze where we are now, and what lies ahead.AlphaThe alpha stage, is when the plane and its systems are under active development. Features are being implemented, lots of things are being debugged, tweaked, etc. at this stage, the systems aren't completed. the plane is used and tested only by members of the development team. As of today, we have passed this stage.Feature freezeAt this stage, the team knows what will be implemented. No more features will (should?) be implemen…

I really think that imageshack doesn't like me at all. Every time someone posts a image hosted in their website, I only see the picture of a frog inside an ice cub with the message: "Domain Unregistered. To view, register at: bit.ly/imageshack-domain" Does anyone else have this problem? How can I get to see the images hosted at imageshack?

Hi fellas !I wanted to share with you my experience. Few days ago i was posting here about the system i was working on, the hardware i would get and how useful Ryan's technical help was. Assembly all the components was not a very complicated process, even if i encountered a few problems. But after watching some tutorial videos on you tube and reading some posts here i get to install properly each thing in the tower case which by the way is a beauty Ryan. So i did a lil video to share with you. All the components are advised by Ryan except the GPU. i took the GTX 580. So if you guys have some questions just feel free to ask and i'll answer very quick. BY THE WAY, PERFORMA…

Hi guysJust a quick question regarding something I've been wondering about the past few days. PMDG have few (if any) peers when it comes to quality MSFS aircraft products with a depth and level of reality that you'd expect from a multi-million dollar full motion simulator that would sit at the Qantas Jet Base in Sydney. You guys go to great lengths to simulate virtually (no pun intended) every single system that exists on the real aircraft. So my query/concern is this. With each new system comes coding to simulate it and with each new line of code comes the possibility of impact on framerates. So without going into specifics, can I ask if PMDG is ONLY simulating systems/p…

Hi folks,Just a quick one.Over 3 years ago I purchased one of the first i7 (965 3.20 GHZ) CPU's and must sayit never let me down.Only recently I decided to overclock it and to my surprise FSX got a bit smoother with better frames. With this in mind I am really wondering how much better the new i7 990X will be ?I know it costs a huge amount of money but want to know if any one out there is already running that CPU with FSX ?Cheers, Ricko

Hello,I wonder if pmdg (or any other, but that is for their forum) is making their now and future products somewhat ready to compyle them for the next fs version? This because in the time pmdg is making their ngx microsoft has started their next fs and if us costumers will switch over it would be a shame if their ngx or other plane is getting 'old' in a hurry and not used.Greetings from Holland.Maikel - PE1123

Hi,Whilst we are waiting for the NGX release here is a great website for your perusal. I used to maintain Jaguars many moons ago. This website really brings back some fantastic memories of an amazing aircraft and some amazing fellow apprentices - Civilian Technical Training School, No.20A Entry. I've also been to this fantastic museum, it really was inspiring to walk through the engineering masterpiece that is/was Concorde. Well done Ken on your photographic genius.Enjoy!http://www.kenmcbrid...photography.htmBrian O'Donnell

Hey guys I made a quick future owner signature. For anyone who's interested I should be making more signatures of present owner banners and pre-owner banners. Here is this one.You should be able to "drag and drop" this image into your signature. NOTE: you will also have to delete the IMG at the end.

Hello PMDG,Wondering if you can comment about 777 manuals if they will be available just as in depth as the 737 manuals are? As well will we be looking at the same price range? Thanks,William Coade

I want to be able to fly the 737-800's into 5,000 foot rwy's in Australia....airports like YBUD (Bundaburg) and YPMQ (Port Macquaire). This is possible in real life but on with a SFP modification. This SFP would require a change in the Exterior Model, T/O LND Distance, Brake De-acceleration and Fuel Burn. A lot of work I might add, I'd like to know if we'll be getting this with the initial release?Reference:http://www.b737.org.uk/flightcontrols.htmCheers!

I have noticed, looking at the B73NG wing, the various portions of the leading edge have different sweep-back angles. The section inboard of the engine has a larger sweep back angle than the portion outboard of the engine. I’m wondering why this is designed in this way. Some other more recent Boeing aircraft have a constant sweep angle on the leading edge (B757/767/777), as does the direct competitor to the NG, the A319/320/321. Obviously there are no doubt reasons for both designs.I have noted in older aircraft (B707/727/737 Classics) that this dual sweep angle is also seen, but I would have imagined that with a redesign of the wing for the NG that it would have …

Dear fellow Simmers and PMDG Staff,When the NGX is finally released, I want to do the following after I bought & installed it: I want to simulate a real ' Boeing 737NG delivery process', because KLM (my favorite airline) will be picking up quite a few new NG's this year. So, I thought it would be fun to shuttle a 'brand new' 737NG (X) back to Amsterdam Schiphol (EHAM, my home airport). But I have a few questions regarding this 'Delivery procedure'.The NG's are build at Renton (KRNT), each month there are 30 NG's rolling out of the hangar. They still have their metal protective coating, so they have to be painted. Does this happen at KRNT, at KBFI or at KPAE? If the pa…

PMDG Supporters,As we have seen, the past few days PMDG has been quiet. No new repaints, no updates, and few Facebook page replies. This has been the normal thing for PMDG to do. However, it is odd that they release Livery after Livery almost everyday, and then suddenly halt. I am an optimistic person, so I take this as good news. I believe that they are so busy making the final product ready, they have little time to post updates or create pictures. In one of the last updates, Robert said that they would soon be putting the NGX out to their wider beta team for download and installation testing. I am pretty sure they are at that point, proof of which is their silence. I t…

PMDG should release this premium plane with a premium price. Say $200 U.S . I honestly doubt even this will change peoples minds to purchase. Now I'm not loaded with money infact quite the contrary. I just feel PMDG First and foremost deserve it. But also it sends a clear message to other developers that people do pay more for quality. Give me your thoughts

Captains-Back in the "old days" you could tell when you flew over a station along your route because you would lose the Morse signal as the airplane passed through the "cone of silence" directly above the station. With very little fanfare, I am pleased to say that we have just passed through the cone of silence on the PMDG 737NGX final approach.I have uploaded some videos tonight- but before we get to those, I want to address a few issues with respect to what you can expect between now and release day:First- we have taken some justifiable criticism these past few months for "going silent" on NGX progress. I'd like to apologize for the silence, and while there has certainl…

To the support staff at PMDG, I installed a new addon the other night, was so excited to check it out after installation, loaded up FSX and the aircraft. Lo and behold my, 'addon', and, 'fsrecorder', menu items mysteriously disappeared. Upon further investigation to find out what worked and didn't, I found my PMDG 747 and LevelD 767 no longer worked. I couldn't get them to even load from the free flight screen and when I tried it'd just crash FSX. I felt like (and was convinced in the heat of the moment) I'd just lost two of THE best aircraft in my hangar, and cheated by the company in which I bought the newer addon. I'm witholding their name (out of professional courtes…
