Hi guys, just wondering if someone can tell me if the Pilot and/or First Officer are animated when we look into the cockpit? I'm assuming the answer is yes, given that this was the case on the JS4100.

Dear all,I have a few questions regarding the SimConnect API. Is it possible to request the local time of a certain location (airport)?Is it possible to request the wind force and wind direction from a certain airport (icao)?Is it possible to force a reload of the sim's scenery?Is so, how?I hope someone could take the time to answer these questions?

Hi guys,I am thinking of making some upgrades to my PC for better handling upcoming ngx.I know that fsx is cpu demanding sim instead of graphics card. I have AMD X4 630 and i overcklocked it to 3500 mhz. BTW my cpu usage is not very balanced at fsx.2nd core is always at 100% and it causes bottleneck. 1st core is almost at sleepI posted my cpu usage graphic picture below (while fsx is running) and i wonder your cpu usage situation especially higher speed cpu's (4 ghz and higher). can you post your graphics here?Sorry for my bad English,Regards.

Hi all,Well, actually I am an "another product" customer and quite satisfied with the that product, but this doesn't affect my decision to purchase the PMDG one as I believe both have their own highlights. Without loss of generality a great number of customer have the same choice as mine. BTW to all people that it is nonsense attacking another product using words like "rubbish" as they certainly is not and also deserve the praise for those who have been dedicated to the development and continuation of the FlightSim community. I haven't seen this post anywhere, but this may be to soon to ask or even have any words for it.Will the NGX be compatible with Microsoft flight? From what I know they are rebuilding the whole engine for the sim.PMDG have you came in contact with the development group? Including the rest of the PMDG fleet.. :rolleyes:Sean L

I understand this will be a study sim. But what if my default C172 flight is with the avionics up, engines started etc, and I switch to the NGX? Will my systems be up and running or will I need to start the NGX from cold n dark everytime?I guess what I'm asking is can I hand fly this thing around the pattern without having to input a bunch of FMS data?

Hello.PMDG 737 NG is a great product and I'm a real fan. The only thing I think that blemishes its realism is the intermittent movement of throttles in A/T mode, ASI and ND display problems. Airspeed readout is not like the one in a real PFD. Similarly, an ADF RMI and a VOR CDI in the ND doesn't move as it does in a real 737 ND. They all move intermittently, but not continuously (especially while crossing over an NDB). I checked user videos in youtube and figured that it's not my computer or software. I hope the respectable fellows designing the NGX fix these issues and release it with maximum possible realism.Have a nice flight!TKPilot

Hi PMDG,my suggestion is, to buy the NGX Chief Pilots set but the problem is the expensive shipping to germany.Could you guys make a better price when I would order 2 of them?Thanks for the answer.kind regards.

Hey Guys,I suggest that PMDG make a livery installer software to be used with it's adds because for example 747-4/8i, MD-11....etc have a huge number of liverys and that make us tired either with installation or uninstall.but if PMDG make that software the installation will be much easier and faster if we select all and install them, I hope you will work on it.Thanx :)

Hey folks,as we have seen nice progress on the project in the past months there is still that one little thing that has bothered me since I saw the first screenshot back then. We all know most parts of this plane will be as close to 100% as it could possibly ever get for any add-on produced (except for some absolute no-go's that we all know about, partly due to significant FSX limitations, WXR, maybe wing view sounds, ACARS/CPDLC, coffee machine and maybe a few more items I forgot). We need a distraction. What better distraction then the silhouette game!You've probably seen this before.Each round of the game will have 5 silhouettes of aircraft. Just a quick post to say that looking at these liveries, on here and the higher quantity on the facebook page. I have never ever seen modeling of this high standard on the Flight simulation platform.Big up to the developers and modelers who have this done pretty much perfectly.And I know from experience the screenshots never even look close to the immersion and quality when you are looking at the motion picture within FSX>:)Alex

Hi all you hard working guys at PMDG.Great news about the beta testing and shortly to be announced release of the NGX.This has really spurred me into asking a question which I have not yet found on your forum.I have for the last 2 years, been constructing a full size 737 800 cockpit in readiness for the NGX. I have already purchased the MCP, EFIS, FMC, transponder, VNAV and COMM radios from Open Cockpits. They all run off of their own SIOC software.My question is this. Will all my Open Cockpit modules work with NGX.Keep up the good work.Gary
