PMDG have stated before that they are releasing the AOM etc with the of purchase of the 737 due to Boeing's involvement . The quote below (from rsrandazzo) indicates what we are all hopeful for so I ask if PMDG can release the user manual or GUI now for their loyal customers or dedicated followers .The NGX is nearly finished and will be in your hands shortly.Thanks Tony Forrester

Dear PMDG,On several cockpit screenshots, I everytime get the idea that the yoke is on the wrong angle. I've the idea that the yoke has to be more rotated forward (POV) I know you guys are using the official Boeing blueprint and they won't lie, but I still want to take this issue into account or that you can clarify why I think that they are on the wrong angle.I've posted two pictures with the vectors as I see them, see attachments.Regards, StevenP.S. White Engine smoke comes form all four PMDG 747-400 engines after flying for 45 minutes or so. It is white smoke like contrails but but fully blasted from all four engines as if they were on fire or something. It also affects the flight dynamics as the plane become very unstable and unable to follow the flight plan. I have tried the following things to try to determine the problem:1. checked the failure items to see if I was getting some sort of engine failure (not effected)2. tried reloading the flight but even after a computer restart the same smoke conditions occure with the flight that was smoking.3. tried selecting another PMDG 747 with different mfg engines (no…

Not really PMDG specific, but might be useful to some in prep for the NGX. Has anyone seen this supposed fix for FS stutters? I always had a lot of little micro-stutters even though I have a high-end machine with a solid video card and dedicated OS and FS SSD drives. Drove me crazy. Then I stumbled across this fix and it "seems" to have improved a bit. Hi, Just a flash of my mind, don't know how practical it would be in this scenario: now NGX was on the board for more than 3 years before it went beta, meanwhile B777 is in the queue. Now how would it be to release like say the model first with exteriors, virtual and 2-d panel and a basic but functional FMC and overhead Panel switches so people can start flying, but the complete development or feature proofing can continue and updates released as things are implemented. I think you can call it modular development cycle to bring out the complete product so folks like me can enjoy PMDG quality while not waiting for wholesome stuff to come out. To any who can help,I havn't been able to complete a flight in the MD-11 or the 744 because of a strange thing that keeps happening. As you can see in the picture, the cockpit becomes see-through, and in most other cases, vanishes. This has been going on for quite some time, if there is a simple fix for this I would be thankful, but if I go to any menu when you hit "alt", or just sit there too long, it does this. Looking at the NGX video on the dark cockpit and in particular the FMS, I observed a "Maintenance" page, in the failures sub-menu of the FMS. I also observed that Ryan "missed" to click on it. I immediately started imagining about a failure mode based on the aircraft cycles/hours. This would be feasible using the λ - lamda in CS-25 and AMCs (or FAR-25 on the other shore of the pond), whereby the probability of a failure for every system increases by time (in very simple terms). I know this feature was available on Windows XP, for some time, then removed in Windows Vista> Onwards.I just got a 2nd monitor, and I'd like to use the feature on Windows 7, extended Desktop isn't so much what I want. I'm using a nVidia Card. Any help?

Hello B737 friends!Just a quick question : I would like to check on what airports I can operate the B737 (mainly 800) on my Orbx sceneries PNW and NRM. Therefore I would like to know the average runway lengh needed to take off and land the NG! I know the TOW, WX parameters or airport elevation need to be taken into account (I guess TOPCAT will become my friend for this) but I just want a rough idea just to sort a list of potential departure and destination airport.Thanks in advance!Pierre Lainé

Hi Robert & Ryan,I just landed at Boeing Field (KBFI) to pitch up my tent to be the first in line for a PMDG 737NG. Will there be a trade in program? I've got a Carendo Baron (Service Pack #1 INCLUDED!!!) plagued with every functionality and air file problems imaginable. I'm asking for $9.99 trade in toward the price of the PMDG 737NG. I assume you guys at PMDG won't correspond, if the is a odd question. But i'm hoping that one of you guys, or PMDG could tell me wich model the NGX is based on? Or if it is based on any model? I'm asking this question because some -800 have sliding carpet, and has something to do with how tou lod the aircraft. Some -800 models with no sliding carpet can have all luggage in cpt. 3 or 2/3 in cpt. 3 and the rest in cpt. 4.But if the aircraft have sliding carpet, most of the captains want to have 1/3 luggage in cpt. 2 and the rest in cpt. 3This has great influence on the CG.

Hi guys and PMDG staff,I´ve a special demo video request.One thing that´s is not being comented (not that i´m aware of) is the engine start and the failures that can be found at that stage of the flight.Well, I don´t know if i´m crazy but starting the engine is one of my favorite part of the entire flight. I love the sound of the engine spoolig up, all indications raising etc. Specific to the 737 series, one thing that drives my mind crazy, is when the generators come on-line because at that stage all the associated lights blinks and cames that very characteristic sound of the GEN taking the job from the APU/GPU.So, if it is possible I´ll be very happy to watch a video d…
