I understand that the user will be able to manipulate ramp activities, doors, and external connections to their aircraft through the FMC. However, the ramp manager on the JS41 looks so intuitive that i couldn't help but ask if this will be available in addition to the FMC interface for thisAlso, can load be managed via a load manager as well? or is the FMC the singular means of getting both these taks done?

The comparison is between the I7 and I5 rigs above that are nearly identical, Is there any reason to pay the extra for the I7 with GTX 580 vs the I5 with GTX 570, both will be water cooled and are overclocked to 4.8ghz. Will the …

I'm not sure if this has been noticed yet, but when looking back at the 25 knot VFR crosswind landing video, one thing caught my attention. The airspeed tape on the HUGS during the rollout lags a bit. You'll notice it jumps from 81 knots to 71 knots. It's hard to see unless you watch it in HD and fullscreen. It happens at about 2:00 min.Notice that the ground speed indication on the PFD reads correctly as the HUGS reading is always trying to catch up.Is this a bug or is it common in the operation of the HUGS? EDIT: Just noticed the primary speed tape on the PFD acts the same.

I just got some new parts for my upgrade for the NGX today. I got a 2500k and a asus p67 board I am going to carryover the 8 gb of corsair xms3 ddr3 ram I currently have in my C2D system What would be a good video card to get for a reasonable price. I was looking at the 570 and 580 cards but they are all well over 300 US

Gents, just a little sideline for your interest. Possibly the clearest video of a tire failure on takeoff I've seen.http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=dd4_1307092520

When simulating a 737 -800 PMDG flight I have noticed one strange thing comparing with real flights data given by flightradar24.com. When looking at data given by flightradar24.com it looks like 737-800s fly at much higher speeds at cruise altitudes. In PMDG the red warning dots indicating speed restrictions shows "danger" at about 280kts (PFD)....looking at 737-800s ( flightradar24.com) the cruise altitude speed is much higher ....about 400kts. How come I can not get these speeds in simulation.gura75

Hi All,This is great news that Angle of Attack and PMDG and joined together to offer first class, high quality training for us on the new and upcoing PMDG 737NGX! It really will be awesome! But, I just 'feel' that this will ad yet more delays to the project as I feel AOA and PMDG have only just started this and that AOA have got their hands on the NGX before we do...Now, I dont post often here at all I just like reading what the PMDG Community are saying but I just wanted to bring this to some people's attention...With the Quality and Professionalism that AOA strive to do in their training products, I just feel with this deal/agreement just having been taken place... How l…

In preparation for the NGX release I´m planing to overclock my I7 930 this weekend. I just received my new cooler and I think I´m ready for the next step. But then this question came to my mind. Will Hyperthreading help FSX performance? Certainly the temperature increase with HT will affect my overclock and what will be better: HT ON with a lower clock or HT OFF with a higher clock?Any help will be much appreciated! Thanks in advance guys and sorry for the English!

Hi,Thought I'd keep myself busy while I wait for the PMDG 737NGX, so I decided to work on a new Flow/Checklist. Hopefully this will help all the new PMDG 737NGX pilots that are ready to jump into this beautiful looking lady.

Hi guys,A promess is a promess. Few days i was posting here about the new system that i got. (thanks Ryan once again: i'm having so much fun now that i feel like like i gotta thank you everytime i post here!!!). Some fellow captains have been posting here asking about the spec but above all, about the fps that i've been getting. i promessed once i would have all my addons, software and aircrafts installed (and believe me i got hundreds of those), i'd report about performances. One of you guys asked about fps at schipol airport which is a fps breaker. So as we are all eagerly waiting for the ngx i was wondering why dont we have a break a talk about something else? So that's…

Well, wouldn't you know it... This is just what happened to me when the MD-11 was being launched...PMDG are fast approaching release time for the NG, just as I've received notification that I'm scheduled for more brain surgery in two weeks time (less of the brain cell comments please - I've heard them ALL B) ).What's more, yet again it's not in the UK, and will be followed by AT LEAST 3 months R&R, which includes ABSOLUTELY NO flight simming!!! (We'll see) Hey, maybe one of you guys could sneak an i7 rig in the place for me eh? (France) Could I hide a yoke under the sheets, or would the nurses take a second look do you think? I could always pretend I was just happy…

Firstly, let me apologize for starting another hardware thread. I'm usually always good using the search function, but since I'm not well versed with non-mac components, I just don't know if these threads are up to date enough. I'm a professional retoucher and only have macs. I just got a new Mac Pro 12 core, and sadly, I know that it won't cut it with the FSX software architecture. After seeing the videos of the upcoming NGX and what other people are making their sim look like - I know its time to bite the bullet and start looking into building a rig just for FSX. I'll need to assemble this thing slowly because I doubt my wife will just on the idea of "another computer",…

Hi. For the past few hours I have been trying at various intervals to submit a product support ticket through the portal on the main website, but when I click "submit," the screen just hangs for ages. After a very long time I gate an error message saying the page is not accessible. Are there server problems at the moment, and if so, any idea when I might be able to complete my request?

Just won $2,000 Eastern Caribbean Dollars, almost the equivalent of $700 US, I also have another $500, that raises the total to about $900 USD, What is the price range we are talking about here for an up to date computer, one that could push the NGX down the asphalt? I'd be willing to buy my own.

First off... sorry to include a MS Paint marked up image... So, I guess I will try and kill two birds with one stone here...First, what are those things called that those gorgeous, streamlined, vibrant red MS Paint arrows are pointing at? Driving by LAX often, I always notice when a Southwest 737 comes in that there are landing lights on the outside "insert airplane part name from question one above" under the wing. I dont seem to notice it on many other airplanes. Is this a SW only option? Now the important ?... Will it be avail on the NGX???Thanks much!

Hi folks, I browse this forum since some time now and I noticed that lots of you guys post topcs which should go to the hardware section or other gerenal things which haven´t hardly anything to do with support by PMDG. I´m just curious why this is the way it is.Btw. in the PMDG main forum there are allready 2 hardware posts on the first site and this goes on and on.
