Maybe some Mac users can help... A friend who bought a MacBook Pro 16 with the "new" ARM processors bought and installed XP12 today, but during the install he got an HTTP error ( bad gateway ) probably due to server congestions, so, part of the scenery areas weren't installed. In Peninsula Iberica he can go to some airports but not others that when he tries to load a flight from will freeze XP12 on the "Asyncronous loading..." message. Is it possible to reinstall only areas of the scenery like in XP11 running the installer ? Also, in XP12 and MacOS, where will the joystick configuration files be stored, just in case he decides to reinstall XP12 and wan…

Yes, I was tempted by the 50% sale. Bought the Steam version, downloaded it and expected to go flying. It comes up with a warning that my trim wheel needs to be calibrated but I chose to continue anyway. Each time, with different aircraft, it launches in a continuous pan to the left and the engine (or the left engine) stops. Can anyone help me to just be able to sit in the cockpit looking forwards and be able take a breath and get to grips with things?

Wow, that was pretty epic. Not really a fan of podcast type formats, but I downloaded it an finally got round to listening to the whole thing on the ferry trip back to the mainland yesterday. Quite a firey debate - even had one of the microsoft execs in their comments praising OrbX, bringing that up was funny and awkward both at the same time. Id say it was about 50/50 old and new stuff, but wow the new stuff was worth learning about. Probably the biggest news is xplane is getting deployed in a level D sim. not specified who or what, my guess would be the new A320. Whichever it is that pretty much puts to bed any further bickering over "seriousness" of the …

Hi everyone, Been on MSFS for ages now but looking forward to XP12 release due to the superior flight model etc. Curious which aircraft we expect to be compatible early on? I’ve seen Toliss 319/321 will be hopefully from day one. I’d love to think Zibo wouldn’t take long. I really miss the classic IXEG 737 but know development isn’t particularly speedy of late but that would be great! Ian.

As we all anticipate with plastic in hand, I wonder if all my current ORBX Xplane titles, will work from day one, in XP12? Also...I wonder if I will still need all my many GB's of Ortho4XP custom generated tiles. Will the XP12 generic scenery tiles be good enough to be not too synthetic looking, and repeating looking? Finger tapping on the desktop, coffee in hand...and wondering the above.... 🙂

I have the JF Piper Archer III and XP11. In this plane I no longer can turn with the rudder. But outside view shows that the rudder on the plane moves when I move the rudder pedals. I have calibrated my Logitech rudder pedals and rudder pedals are assigned to yaw for this (and all other) planes. The problem surfaced after replacing my CH Pro pedals with the Logitech pedals.

Hello everyone, hope you are all having a good day. Sorry if i ask this question in a wrong place but just want to be sure. While i was flying with Aerosoft Douglas Dc-8 in p3d, i was loading waypoints 1-9 to captain INS, and waypoints 10-18 to the first officer INS. And when i Pass over the 9th waypoint in the captain's INS, i was going to overhead panel, moving the "INS1 - INS2" switch from INS1 to INS2, and the aircraft was following the waypoints from first officer's INS. Is there a switch for this in the 747 of felis to switch between 3 INS units as Navigation source? Or if i switch from autopilot A to autopilot B, will it follow the first officer's INS …

Lately I have been having a low memory problem while flying X-Plane 11. According to Windows 11, my system is completely up to date with all software. I have been hearing about some sort of memory leak in Windows 11 and wonder if this might be the problem. Never had a lick of problem with Window 10 and X-Plane 11. I am running a i9-9900K (not over clocked) with 32 Mbs of ram and a 2080 GPU. Storage is a 2 Tb ssd. I am not a computer software geek even though I worked on Air Force flight sims in the 70s 80s. Those were pre-historic pc days and phones were still plugged into walls jacks. With the new X-Plane 12 coming in the near future, …

Hello, For a few days, each time I import a flightplan from simbrief to pilot2at, I have the error message: pilot2atc sid not found in airac data and pilot2atc star not found in airac data, however when I check the version of the AIRAC which is displayed at the top left, it is indeed version 2208. When I delete the error messages, I do obtain the SID and STAR corresponding to my flight. How to remove these error messages, thanks in advance for your response. Jacques

Hello I am trying to buy an aircraft, namely the Aerobask DA-62, which is being rejected by the org store simply because my debit card address (Australia) is different from my purchase location (Indonesia) Simply stated (as I see it) I have to go to Australia to purchase an aircraft or anything else from the org store. I have explained to them (elliott w) that I live in Indonesia. If I try to use any VPN to disguise where I am buying from, my bank (Citibank) will not approve the payment. If I use my Indonesian address, Citibank will not approve the payment. Using my normal process ie, Australian address,(where I initially got my debit card account) purchas…
