trying to find the Nearest function/selection on the list of assign key commands on the 172 G1000....where is it?

Last week LPPT got, due to a Magnetic Declination update, a modification of it's now only two runways - 03 / 21 - to 02 / 20. Now, in MFS when starting the simulator after midnight on the night of the official change, not only the runway magnetic azimuth was changed to the new 25º value but the runway numbers changed as well into 02 / 20. In XP11 and although I now keep it updated through Navigraph, the runways still read 033 / 21 although the magnetic azimuth has been successfuly updated to 25 / 205. Would be great to see this "automatic renumbering" available for XP12 too.

Was wondering if anyone ever ran into this on the Thrustmaster 16000 cheapie stick....Was working ok but now if I assign buttons to flaps down and up the buttons won't work unless I am in 90 degree side view...thats a button too.. does that sound like the 16000 or X plane??? My rudder works ok.....I tried deleting and re calibrating... its just the flaps that do that..other assignments are ok.. 172. Garmin 1000

So I heard Riviere makes very good freeware aircraft and I wanted to download from him/her, but I can't. I clicked on the download button multiple times, and it won't download. I tried a different browser and using a VPN, but it still won't work. Can someone help me with this?

So, real 737 pilot flightdeck2sim on YT has recently made a back to back flight comparing Zibo 737 in X-Plane with another, just released, payware 737 for a competing sim. Hi, I run X-Plane 11 together with EC135 V5 from RotorSim and GTN650 from Reality XP, the Garmin Trainer is also installed. All programs are up to date, the installation is without errors. The GTN650 devices appear in the X-Plane menu as "Plugins / Reality XP GTN / GTN 650 1 and 2". Both devices work fine. The EC135 panel does not show the GTN650 gauges, instead it shows X-Plane 430 gauges which work as pop-out windows. I would like to replace the X-Plane 430 gauges with GTN650 gauges. The pop-out windows on the GTN650 gauges should behave the same as the X-Plane 430 gauges. I have desperately searched the manuals and forums with no success. Can someon…

Hey guys so recently my XP11 Was facing a fps issue. For example i get about 70 fps in xp and every like half a second it drops down to 20 so it happens all the time and the game feels like fluctuated so i was wondering if i can find help from someone. Thanks!

Hi guys , Having a lot of fun with my 4 screen setup. Only problem is that seat and headrest are always in the way. I know all about fov and monitor setup. Only plane so far I found is zibo where seats can be removed. I also have toliss 321, md11 and the seats are solid as a rock in those planes. Any ideas? Thanks a lot. Jozeff

Hi guys, I've been looking into air manager and would like to try the panels available in the following site https://www.freesimstuff.com/downloads--panels.html is is possible to use both panels on 1 screen. Reason I ask is because I have 3 screens for scenery and 1 for my panel. I cannot connect 5 screens to my gpu. thanks for any advice! jozeff

Whilst the default Baron is improved by the Enhanced Flight Model, it still does not meet my requirements. IMHO the controls, particularly near the ground (i.e. on take-off and on landing) are far too sensitive and there is a lot of 'porpoising' both in pitch and yaw. There is a known problem with both toe brakes (again, too sensitive) and the park brake (does not hold above 1900 rpm). Yes, I have tried adjusting both the control sensitivity and stability augmentation, as well as 'shaping' the response curves - without success. There is no fuel control panel to select fuel tanks, or even to switch off the fuel to engine supply. This is, for me, a critical fault. …

Hi guys, Have been playing around with views andy triple screen setup. Would really like to have scenery only view with a panel in the lower half of my middle screen. I've been messing around for hours but just cannot get it how I want. I know Air Manager and that might be a solution but I thought of the following.. remove the planes structure textures completely and only keep the instrument panel. Looking at sideviews (monitor 1 and 3) shows only scenery. Is that even possible? Is just removing some dds files going to do the trick? New to explain and have lots of question but I will start with this one. When I load a saved flight in FSX it would load in the position that I saved it. In x plane when I try to load a saved flight , it doesn't seem to work. I don't even know what I am suppose to do. What is this console popup doing? What do I press? When I press play it either crashes or the timer starts but no sound and no power in the plane.

I thought I had it figured on how to display the FMS plans on the MFD.....I could toggle the FMS info by making sure the FLP window cursor was on and hitting the cursor up and down ...it would toggle between the current flight plan or departure spot and the FMS plans list. But now its NOT working....? I cant bring up the FMS plans.... where did they go??

In both my Cessna 172 SP and in the default Baron BE58 the nosewheel steering is far too sensitive on the take-off roll. Just small rudder inputs give excessive turn rates with accompanying tire squealing. At taxy speed everything works just fine. Is there a way I can adjust this steering sensitivity? I have tried varying the rudder sensitivity and this has some effect. However I am then concerned that rudder sensitivity in flight is then reduced too much ( I am teaching single engine operation in the Baron and need a realistic flight rudder response). I have been flying a Cessna 172SP on XPlane 11.55 without any technical problems regarding set up. However, when I try and load the default Beech Baron Be58, neither the elevator nor the aileron controls connect. I use a Logitech/Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System. The rudder system, and all throttle quadrants work (I use two quadrants) as do all othe buttons and switches. I have gone through calibration and control assigments according to the XPlane Manual but without successful resoltion of the problem. Hey there, I recently purchased the hot start Challenger 650, great plane. I'm not having any trouble with it; I just have a question. On Navigraph, it says "With a Navigraph Ultimate Subscription, you can use the multifunction display (MFD) of the Hot Start Challenger 650 to access the full Jeppesen Charts library through Navigraph Charts," I have a Navigraph Ultimate subscription, I was just wondering HOW to view charts on the MFD of the 650.

Is there a way to block the cockpit shadows from appearing. When I load the hot start TBM900, the shadows are so dark that you can't see the buttons or switches. I have the latest updates and I still get this problem. thanks Arnold

Fro those who dont go there. Seems there was nothing new to demo at the Airshow. Still in Alpha, though the hope for a summer US release. Still have some graphics bugs to sort out. Seems thy have had 20 aslphas.
