Hi, While the X-Plane team is probably up to their ears trying to get out X-Plane-12 in good form, I hope they give in-sim support for the Tobii 5 (eye and head tracker). I have downloaded Tobino, a plug-in for X-Plane 11. Has anyone used this or something else with Tobii? Thanks.

I have purchased the reality 650 plug in. I see the 650 in the 172 but it hasn't replaced the Garmin 530 and so isn't linked to the ILS etc. The 650 is working in that it's NAV mode is giving the correct directions but I'd assumed the 530 would be replaced. Obviously I have no vertical guidance either. Incidentally, and maybe connected (?) but the standard 430 is not showing the correct desire track. It always shows 77 degrees I'd be grateful if someone could please advise in these issues Many thanks

Ground textures can be replaced with ortho, but the crappy XP11 clouds were always a deal-breaker for me when considering coming back to the platform. This new Enhanced Skyscapes plugin is just excellent and have made me enjoy flying in XP11 again... Highly recommended, especially for the low price!

Although some postings in this thread were deleted, I take the chance to seize on one of the suggestions and raise a thread, why I luv X-Plane and LR. One (first) example is: when I started gliding lessons, I had to struggle following the tow plane when I had to do it myself for the very first times (and not the instructor). After drifting too far to the left, and trying to recover to get behind the tow plane again by steering to the right, initially I always "overran" and drifted too far to the right. Same applied in the opposite direction. Then came winter, and I couldn't exercise in the real plane. So, I tried it in X-Plane until I got the hang of it. Then, spring came…

Dear community, I'm new in AVSIM, my Xplane 11 from today doesn't work anymore, specifically, after you choose the type of plane, location and scenario, while charging it crashes, and so many times. Should I delete it and try to reinstall it ex-novo or any other suggest? Thanks in advance for your time. Nicola

Does anybody have any knowledge or experience with this model or the company? It looks interesting because of the panel options (G5 vs Aspen 1000 vs steam gauges). How is the flight model? I am looking for a realistic model to practice my IFR procedures in a low wing single engine plane. Any comments would be appreciated.

Hello Guys n Girls, I really do not want this to develop into an XPlane vs MSFS war. Firstly, I am having some difficulties downloading and processing ortho content for Australia initially, followed by Indonesia and New Zealand. I am looking for a really good and simple guide to the whole process (preferably video tutorials) please. Secondly, mostly due to the incredibly bad VR, particularly controller issues, implementation for MSFS, I find myself increasingly drawn to XPlane. The only really good, and I mean, good, aspect of MSFS is the scenery graphics and this includes VR of course. So, what I am looking for is some opinions from diehard XPlaners …

What's currently considered the best ai aircraft addon for xplane 11. I'm considering getting the hotstart aircraft but my biggest drawback for xplane was the poor ai options compared to aig in p3d in the past. This is another mind bending thing. I've got a slightly tilted view when I load XP11 (any aircraft). Track IR is disabled and it' just the regular view. Any clues? slanted by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr

Hi guys, I have spent insane amount of time tweaking P3D v1.x to 5.x over the years and out of the blue Xp 11.55 gives me the best performance right of the bat especially on my older cpu i7-5820K+Nvidia Super 2070 RTX (OCed 4.3ghz with 64gb Quad config DDR4) with 4K Native Resolution Monitors. I barely spent any time tweaking Xplane 11 and holy #%%% mind blowing graphics. I can't even describe on how amazing this is. P3D always kept me tweaking till the cows come home, I have spent more time tweaking than simming Xplane 11 was okay, but it wasn't till 11.55 Vulkan got stabilized - this is the Magic release for me, and I can't wait for Xp12 and see where it g…

I was looking through what we've seen so far from LR for XP12 and couldn't see any information on updates or screenshots of the default Avionics systems. Have I just skipped over something or has this not be shown so far ?

I downloaded v 1.16 from XP.Org...and then in the running XP11.55, brought up Xenviro, and the Activate Screen came up. Put in my email and the serial number from my purchase, and nothing happens...Xenviro seems to not call home...and to activate. Is the program D.O.A.?

Morning all, hope everyone is well. I've recently decided to get a new GPU and went for the RTX 3060. The TI version looked great, but for what i need i couldn't justify the extra ££. Anyway, it's since arrived and i've fitted the new card into my machine, but i've noticed now that my CPU is bottlenecking. I spent most of the day yesterday fettling and in a test cruise, the FPS counter in X Plane was showing the CPU @ 0.0220 and the GPU @ 0.0090. I've been looking at new CPUs, but if i'm honest i don't know which way to turn.
