Hi I want to book RJAA to EGLL in the default B744; Simbrief tells me the air time is 12:00 hours and my Virtual airline says it is 11h 52min. With full tanks, the default xp11 Laminar B744 has a maximum of 9:49 flight time in normal cruise, regardless of payload weight. Is there way a I can customise the fuel/weight to give me enough for this flight? Thanks in advance, Ian Kidd

fyi, every time you close a topic it no longer returns in site search results, making the entire topic impossible to find. You also cannot quote people from that topic in another topic when you do find it - for example when using google search. As far as the site is concerned closed topics are as good as deleted.

Happy New Year dear friends. This topic is for new simmer who might be interested to use X-Plane to "fly mission, buy aircraft and engage in other activities" to supplement their flying experience. Here are some plugins and online services I been using for "role playing" as a pilot. Most of these are cross platform and works in P3D/MSFS. The basic concept is you fly a designated mission and these programs will record your hours, flight quality, and reward you with virtual currency. Over time you will move up the ladder to fly bigger aircraft with more income and more advance mission. Some of these program will allow you to buy virtual airport, aircraft, com…

Hi guys, Been using xplanecdu for a couple of weeks for the zibo and I must admit it is amazing. I just bumped into webFMC and it is provided as freeware for the zibo. I wouldn't mind paying for it either (it must be a hell of a job to create such a thing) but I can't figure out what the difference between the two is. I understand that paid version of webfmc is compatible with a lot of aircraft but I'm looking specifically at zibo right now. Thanks for any feedback! Jozeff

I have a 10" tablet that I can use via wifi software to act as a second display for windows 10. What I would like to do is put the outside view on the smaller 10" screen and leave the standard monitor for the instrument panel. Is it possible to send separate views to separate devices like this ? Jim

Hi, Recently, a device was added to the standard devices Evektor EV-55 outback that can be downloaded for free. There are 4 other models outback and outback SP in addition to the prototype. and the version with G1000. This is a wonderful aircraft with which I have already done a few flights. I have a number of payware aircraft of the same genre and which integrate RealtyXP's rxpgtn 750. I miss that in this beautiful aircraft. Now I use the gtn 750 as a plugin. I would like to see the garmin changed to the gtn 750 from garmin. Is there any hope of someone making that happen?

Also works in VR. https://github.com/Clamb94/StableApproach/wiki Some screen shots. Felis 747-200 Classic Addon is very very close to being released. For those that doesn't know Felis previous work in X-Plane, he mostly developed Russian Made Aircrafts before. His previous work, the most famous, Tupolev TU154, has been highly regarded for years. I admit I'm not as hardcore to go full Cyrillic and fly thinking in Kilometers per Hour, but now this is finally for us! This is the Addon that made me get my X-Plane back to my Computer. Installed all the Sceneries, HDMesh, Sky Plugins, ReShade, complete package! 🙂 I thought I couldn't go back to XP11, I was going to wait for XP12, but this can't wait... It has been 3 years in the makin…

I’m using an AMD RX550 4GB, and whenever I update the drivers to a version older then 21.8.2 the sub-windows of XP11 (information messages that show up, loading screens, addon menus, etc.) completely blurry as shown on the pictures! This is really annoying, is there any way to solve this?

This months PC pilot ,(which is also available on the Readly app )has a comical picture of the eccentric genius Austin Meyer on its cover. Inside there’s a 6 page features which is part 1 of an article written by Austin himself about the upcoming XP12. Very interesting and has me excited about the future of XP.

Hello Guys, I have dedicated SSD NVMe 1Tb for the X-Plane and addons. However the space available is shrinking. I am thinking about buying few HDD to put mainly the scenery on it. My aim is to keep X-Plane on SSD NVMe, but scenery like Airports/ORBX/Ortho, etc. on new HDD drives and link it using the addon like xToolbox. My question is, will I notice a significant decrease in loading times in X-Plane booting using these method? Or the booting times does not matter as long as the X-Plane is installed on the SSD? Thank you for your help.

Hello MD-80 captains. Here is the preview of the first proper soundpack exclusively developed for Rotate MD-80 Pro. "All sounds are recorded in the real MD-82, and carefully processed to provide the most authentic and rich sound experience. In this 4 minute preview, you can hear full cockpit ambiance - avionics, packs, switches, some levers, takeoff roll, gear retraction, and of course engine sounds. Speaking of engine sounds, be aware that we used "immersive" version of the sounds in this preview, they are louder. We will also include "authentic" version, which is (a lot) quieter and less aggressive, like on the real flight deck. Release is expected in the next…
