I used to have Ground vehicles (fuel trucks, conveyor belt vehicles, etc) at my airports, but now I only have the ai airplanes showing. How can I get the support Ground vehicles back?

After reading about a quirk with the DCS Uh-1H regarding the need for left anti-torque ( power ) pedal to be deflected ahead of the right one, while in the real thing as cruise is reached at correct power settings it's the opposite that takes place, I decided to test it in the latest ( 1.5 ) version of the Nimbus and it works correctly there! Also made a few more tests - had been a long time since I had used it before and this version is new to me. I have downloaded the latest SimHeaven Europe, and the associated "Vegetation Library". All was installed / organized in "scenery_packs.ini" as per the documentation, I see no errors in the logs, but taxiing in LPPT shows no terminal buildings, as if they were "excluded" ? Any clues ?

Hi guys, After flying xplane in vr for 3 years I'm looking for a triple screen setup to use when I don't want to isolate myself and just relax at my desk. I will keep my rift s for the immersion factor. I'm looking for triple tv setup. 43 inch 1080p tv's are about as expensive as 43 inch 4k tv's. Obviously I cannot run 3 x 4k screens smoothly (24 million pixels...) on my computer although I have a 2080s and high end cpu etc. I can very smoothly run 3 x 1080p screens however. Can I run the 4k screens at 1920 x 1080 without any problems? I Know I will loose resolution. I just want to know if it technically possible wit…

I was a surprised to discover a Piper Warrior II panel does not exist! I have the Just Flight Warrior II and need an Air Manager Panel for it. Does anyone know if there is anyone out there that can create custom Air Manager panels for hire? OR any payware planes that come with an Air Manager panels already made? Thank you.

I am a real world pilot looking at flight sim to keep sharp between real flights in a PA 28-161 Cherokee Warrior II. I’m using X-Plane along with Pilot Edge to be as realistic as I can. I’m fairly new at this, so please forgive my ignorance with this question. Why is it so hard to find a PA 28 in an Air Manager panel, or even an aircraft add-on? It seems like it’s all about the Cessna 172 or the 737. Perhaps a little exaggeration, but still frustrating. I’m looking at the new MSFS 2020 and big surprise... no Piper! Did Piper Aircraft make the wrong people mad, so that nothing seems to available for us Cherokee drivers? Just asking. Or perhaps someone has an idea …

I have calibrated the yoke and pedals though X-Pane 11 interface. I am finding in general the controls are too sensitive. Can anybody using these controls with X-Plane 11.55 give me any advice? I am using the Just Flight PA-28R-181 Archer and trying to get it stable. I am having what appears to be a trim issue as the A/C is having issues rotating at V1 with no back pressure on the yoke. It seems to be an issue with calibration. In MSFS 2020 /FSXSEI I don’t have these issues. Thanks!

Hello all, my yoke was working fine but now when I pitch forward it without input rolls right and yes I have done the called for yoke itself calibration and windows calibration and in the settings of XP11 calibration (three times). Anyone else run into this problem? I beginning to think it might be the hardware itself as I hooked up my other yoke and no issues what so ever. Cheers!

After starting a flight in XP11 VR (HP Reverb G2) WIN 10 I find the view incorrect and a panning rotate view is needed. The keys I have assigned for that wont work. Reset viewpoint from Steam VR does not help. What can I do about this ?

Hello to you all, A strange one here. Loading my Aerobask 550 engines started on runway when I release brakes and apply full power the aircraft does not move. I have read a lot of posts which tell me to release the parking brake using mouse and "V" but nothing seems to work. This problem applies to many aircraft including the Zibo 737s . I have faulty Saitek pedals (right side toe brake is not responding) so I have ignored both toe brake axis in settings and have assigned a yoke button to brakes until I fix the Rudder system. (I have a separate button allocated to Parking brakes set.) When I press either button, the "brakes on" light (in the 550 aircraft)…

Huge update to True Earth: Northern California...

There's already a problem at least at VATSIM stemming from the fact that when the clients are used by different flight simulation platforms, and one is in MFS with Live Weather, discrepancies arise between the "true" altitudes due to the fact that MFS unlike XP or FSX / P3D is modelling te non ISA pressure lapse rates due to Tempretaure variation. It would be good to find out if LR is considering this in their new version ... Why is this important ? To start this topic. I would first like to pick up on a previous post with the question of do I think it should be backward compatible, yes and no is my reply. I think it would be bad idea to have backward compatibility to a number of libraries, aircraft models or sceneries that go as far back as XP9/10 and, this upcoming iteration seems the perfect opportunity to move forward with a more modern games (excuse the term) engine which is available in 2021 as opposed to what was in 2009. Hi, I feel like this will weird most of you out, but I find haze / aerial perspective in X-Plane not strong enough, contrary to most people who think it is too much. Is there a way to increase Rayleigh scattering on terrain, so that everything looks more blue especially at higher altitudes? Here is how default X-Plane 11 looks like at 30000 feet with a visibility of 15 nm: It is definitely not "washed out" enough, there is too little haze / aerial perspective. I'm learning the PC-12 and I can't seem to get the "ESNTL BUS" "STAB TRIM" and "GEN 2 OFF", "N ESNTL BUS" Warning lights to turn off. The aircraft seems to fly just fine but I get that feeling, like I'm driving my car with the check engine light on. Anyone have any help?

Created initially by a CJ4 pilot (and his team) to help with training and currency of rw pilots. It is an excellent biz-jet creation for XP11. Panel is the PL-21.....quite well done. The above link is to their forum section. Worth checking out for lots of good info. Support is excellent as I had one issue (error was with me) and it was acted on quickly. Definitely worth considering adding to one's hangar if biz-jets are your interest. Dave

This has been asked for, and I took it upon myself to make a post about it so others can be informed and read the facts behind the wind modelling in X-Plane. Please take the time to read it and watch the video, as there is quite a lot of information, and some of it may be a little too advanced for some people, but Austin always does his best to explain things in an easy to follow manner. I don't think anyone can debate the accuracy of the wind modelling in X-Plane after taking all of this in. Dare I say it, but no other sim gets the wind effects this comprehensive and accurate.
