@Humpty could you get them to try xp11 opengl and vulkan on that laptop and then let us know, then we will have at least some "proof" that you seek: The intel gpu vulkan/opengl support matrix is here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005524/graphics.html we already got the goodish news that the trees were done on a nvidia gtx1070 (iirc).

I own about 6 payware aircraft. Xcrafts E175, FF B757-200, FF A350, FFA320, SSGE-170 and Zibo B738. Zibo is the only aircraft that works without a bunch of problems. E175 - The FMS just sucks. The a/c feels cheap/flimsy. Havent even been able to get the thing off the ground because the flight plan wont enter properly. FF B757-200 - Just bought this two days ago. Havent completed a flight yet. Not sure yet, but probably basic ignorance of the aircraft as it is not as much like Zibo as I hoped for. I cant get the IRS to align so it wont follow any flight path. Hi im sure this has already been solved but my playing around has so far failed I've tried extending visability out to 100sm,no clouds and time of day and month but externally from the flight windows things still look as if im flying through light fog Have i missed a setting or is there something i need to download/change Thanks

The much anticipated (by me at least) BAe 146 from Just Flight has just released for XP. I have the P3D version and its cracking, I expect the XP version to be better still. I'm downloading now.

Jumping to XP from P3D/FSX for some of it's very good aircraft, I still feel astonished that someone was able to made an AI ATC that is even worse than what P3D's default could provide.... After few search and trial now I use 124th ATC, which is... OK... almost same level as default one... But the AI just doesn't cut in...while default P3D's ATC don't separate well in the air, at least it "aware" the existence of AI.. The only promising product as my search is X-Life, The paid version seems came with ATC, but I'm not sure how good it is.... Because the Lack of coverage especially near my region is a big bumper for me to justify put money on it..…

Austin, above all, my DEAR AUSTIN ! Do ya Magic ! Do that presentation at the Sim Conf in a way that can bring some good hope and relieve me from the temptation of playing War Games instead of civil flightsims ! I look desperately into next weekend's presentation by LR, and I want to believe it will reveal that my home PC can even turn into a Linux box, before Windows itself turns into it sooner than later... I desperately wish for a decent flight simulator ! Heck, X-Plane 11 is almost there, specially with some of the add-on helis and fixed wing... Puleeeeeze just show us Weather will be better, more easy to allow 3pd to inject it, and, who knows....…

Hi everyone I hace been a FSX simmer for a long time, until I tried xplane11... cuantic jump... still i am finding some issues with my setup... if by anychance there is some one with the same thing and has solved the following issues, please contact me. Here we go: basically i am trying to run Xplane 11 with the software of Project Magenta (for the b737) and as hardware Opencockpit (MCP, EFIS, etc) Problems i am finding: 1) With the the laminar B737, The Automatic pilot does extrage things to pitch when engaged, especially in a leveled flight attitude, it starts to do wild ups and downs, trim gets crazy, i guess is a syncronization issue with the trim…

I downloaded and installed the trial version of x-plane 11, and i find the resolution of images to be very low. I am having an i7 processor with a nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti graphics card. when I use he same PC configuration to use MSFS 2020. i get very good graphics settings. Is there anything i need to do to improve the graphics image resolution on X-plane?

I am a fluent Russian speaker, so this was a gift I was very happy to receive. And I just began to get comfortable with Felis' excellent TU-154... Anyhow, I thought I'd share.

The MSFS sim update 5 has dumbed down the graphics to achieve a significant performance increase. However, and trust me I've played about with every setting, it now looks like nothing special at all. In fact the sim looks awful. Now is the chance for LR to show their metal and get XP12 released. Will they grasp this opportunity?

Maybe some of you around here have privileged access to LR, and be able to remind them about some insight on their weather modelling for XP12, for the upcoming presentation at Sim Conference... I would like to know about which sources will be used outside USA, and what will the granularity in terms of altitude be. Sometime ago I suggested here the implementation of non ISA lapse rates for pressure levels. This may already be taken into consideration, but I would love to see it mentioned. Evidence of Sun, Moon ephemeris, as well as proper daylight according to location/date and perpetual calendar would be great too !

Hello, I have installed a plugin for x plane 11, I have put it in the right folder. But when I go to the plugins tab in x plane, the plugin isn't there. It only says "show plugin admin" nothing else. Can someone please help me, thanks.

I am using the 172 and the B58. I load my flight plan. Once airborne I engage the AP with HDG and everything is fine. The ALT is working as well. There are no DIS or ETE numbers displayed. I engage NAV and then the FPL disappears and is replaced with the following…+45-75. The 530 stops tracking along the route. HDG still works. I am at a loss. Everything was working fine. I updated to the GNS 750. I also upgraded air manager to the 4.0. BTW all my testing was done with out the AM running. thanks for the help in advance.

Hi Everyone, Quick question to those that are familiar with setting up symbolic links. Is it possible to set up a 10TB MyCloud EX2 Ultra over a 2.5GB network that contains all my United States photoreal scenery and have all four of my computers (XP server and three visual computers) access the data via symbolic links? I think this will work, but not sure about any transfer delays that may end up as screen issues. Anyone try this? Thanks

Hi, I’m getting invalid licence after re-installing this software. I had to reinstall windows and this is the problem I cannot solve. I have my licence and after trying to install with the newer up to date version, I can’t progress. I’ve tried putting the licence file in all the suggested file folders but no luck. Disabled anti virus etc. When I install the new software, it doesn’t ask for my licence or anything. It’s seems impossible to contact Realty Xp through their website. The Garmin 750 software just says contact vendor. How? Any help would be very welcome. cheers
