For those who bought the add-on what's your overall opinion of the add-on? I watched some videos on YT, but I'd like to know about freeware/payware compatibility. Maybe @tonywob can tell me if all the freeware airports are compatible and if this region will be further updated and are add-on airports planned for future release? I'm a fan of tropical destinations and would like to explore this region in X-plane 11.53. Thanks. Jose

Hello all, I have just run xOrganizer and it is telling me that MACOSX needs attention. I have never downloaded it in the first place as I am not running an Apple system. I do understand that it is or may be, a requirement on an apple system, but as I am not using that, can I simply delete any reference to MACOSX in any part of XPlane? Regards Tony

I been completely addicted to Aerobask Phenom 300 and flying it non stop. I want to do a around the world trip but not sure how to go about that with 2,200ish range. What would be the suitable route over Atlantic and Pacific?

Hi folks I’ve recently bought a yoke off eBay and whilst it works great, the neutral point of the pitch axis is considerably off centre. There’s considerably more up elevator resolution available, and so with the yoke neutral a considerable nose down input is detected by my PC. This hasn’t proved a problem with either P3D or FS2020 because after calibrating it with the default wizard in device manager, it shows as being nicely centred. Hello, There are a number of Shift-xx views in XPlane 11, from Shift-1 (Linear Spot) thru Shift-9 (cockpit look). Is there a way within XPlane itself to change the default camera position for each of these views? For example, if I referred to have the Shift-4 view be more toward a tail view, rather than the side view I currently get. I know I can set up Quick Look views, and also aware of the fine X-Camera plugin, but just wondering if there is a way to change those default Shift-views. Regards, Mike

How do i use the throttle vs rpm regulator in a baron 58? Why are there not just a throttle to control the speed?

Hello all. As I have stated many time in this and other forae, I only fly in Australia. Given the huge (?) XPlane scenery development scenerio for Australia, (to my knowledge only YBRM by ORBX) I downloaded the Forkboy ortho scenery and installed it. It is actually much worse than the default scenery (which is OK but not great) and that indicates that I have done something incredibly wrong. Example is that YBCS looks like almost the entire are is flooded with no detail at all and there are no buildings at the airport but all the runways and taxiways are there in quite good detail, I am wondering if there are any Ozzies out there who have downloaded and install…

HI I can't engage the GPS in my Carenado S340 with the GTN 750 load on. its jump and refuse to connect. but when I reload the defualt XPLANE11 FMS on that plane. I can engage the GPS. Since I purchased the GTN 750 I have a lots of issues. can someone help me to solve this issue Thanks Dylen

Hi, just purchased the GTN 750-650 from realty XP, loaded in the Carenado s340 programming the flight evrything looks correct, but after takeoff I engage the autopilot and the plane didn't follow the path. I try to force direct waypoint but as you can see in the attached file it keep going away from the path. please help to solve the issue maybe I did somthing wrong I don't know. Thanks Aviv Shefer

I just reinstalled Win 10 Pro and am having the following problem. I am using Go-Flight GFRP-2, TQ6 and the Precision Flight Controller. After opening Xplane I get the error message that my controllers need calibrating. I calibrate the different controls. When I open up the flight sims none of the controls work. I have tried many times without any success. Tom Johnson

Good day I have been getting this error message every time I start my x-plane then it shuts down. I have reinstalled 3 times still getting same message . No joy to start x-plane at all. Here is the error message x-plane tried to load a texture that you do not have this probably indicates you need to reinstall X-Plane. the missing file is : Resources/ bitmap/world/moon.png then I get the same for sun glow I was using X-plane few days ago no issues at all I tried this weekend but these errors came . I'm hoping that @filou can chime in here. After trying FSGRW, ASXP, there was only one weather add-on left to try, the mighty xEnviro. It was a difficult decision do to its heavy price tag, no demo, and mixed reputation. But, according to my research, free updates are coming. Since I have no idea what will happen with XP12 or even MSFS, I decided to give this a try. So far my biggest disappointment is the pixelated clouds even with settings at ultra. The performance is terrible on my system if I set cloud quality above medium, so at a medium setting they'll have to stay. Aside from that, it's a must have add-on. Any ideas on how to make the clouds look sof…

I havent fired up XP in a couple of years now, I really liked the sim but I ended up going back to p3d due to the lack of realistic weather. Lately I've been playing around with msfs 2020 but Im really missing the flight dynamics and system fidelity of xplane and p3d. Im thinking about getting xplane going again but I wont bother if the weather is still as it was 2 years ago. Xenviro is not an option for me as i only fly in VR, so how is active sky XP in comparison? The things I hated about xp weather were that the weather changed instantly, you couldn't see an approaching weather system and fly into it. Hello all, I am just wondering if I am suffering this all my byself. After the latest update to this aircraft (v1.2) I no longer have the Aerobask button below the parking brake indicator.. Initially, I thought it was a corruption, so I redownloaded the original and it was OK. I updated through the Skunkworks updater, and the same thing happens. As it happens, it is not really a deal breaker as I can access it through the plugins icon. It is however, quite annoying to do it this way. I can not find a way to map a keystroke to access the plugin as an alternative either. Has anyone else noticed this. Tony

Hello! I just bought x-plane 11 and I find it absolutely sublime apart from the view controls, which I can't seem to get working. I initially got x-camera and installed that in the plugins folder, but when I tried to use it the camera twitched annoyingly and I found it hard to read the text in the cockpit so I disabled it. But now that I'm trying to work with X-plane 11's default view controls, I find that they don't function at all in 3D cockpit view. I set up key bindings in the "view/manipulate view" menu, but when I try to use them nothing happens. Do you have any suggestions as to what I might try? Thank you in advance!

I can't fly with a 737 in my Xplane 11. I have an [email protected], 12 GB RAM and 8BG VRAM from my MX 130 Nvidia chip. The game crashes when I try to load it up but with a Cessna, Everything seems fine. No lag, no stutters. I this a hardware issue or is it the fact that it was a demo? Please help me.

Hello all, Yesterday, I believe, Aerobask released its previously announced Phenom 300 for XPlane 11. I just bought it and have had my first flight. An incredible purchase and an incredible experience with the first flight. The REALLY BAD news is that there are no plans for it to come to MSFS. No other negatives for me. A beta is released! while everyone is badgering about graphics improvements we all know are coming, now it is possible to edit every peace of auto-gen using WED. As someone who tried to poke the roads.net file for a while now this one is a huge release to me. IMO, and just as a nice theory, this is the foundation for a full gateway world, as they currently stated it's not supported YET on the gateway until Xplane will introduce improvements to the way it renders it's world.
