Running XP11.51 & slowly setting it up. I asked about 'Vibrancy' earlier. Perhaps that was the wrong word. Below are a couple of shots of my vanilla set up & to me it's as if there is a bush fire 200 miles away & the scenery is getting some particulate drift, or put it another way, a faint haze. is present, over the landscape & among the buildings. I would like to get rid of that & have 'cleaner' shots. Anyone know how I can get rid of the haze? I don't knowingly have any fog settings engaged. Thank you T45

Rebuilding XP after an absence. Where do I place Avitab in the XP11 folder/file structure.? In Plugins? Also, I used to have a small generic Autopilot that was very handy for aircraft that didn't have one. It was located in the bottom left of the screen & invisible until you hovered the mouse pointer over it. It just had symbols that let you set Hdg, Alt, VS & AP on/off, then it 'disappeared' when you moved the mouse pointer away. Anyone know if it is still available & where from? Where would I place it? so i have tried doing an ils approach about a dozen times now at different airports but the localizer bar never shows up. the dme works and glide slope works but that bar that tells you if your left or right is missing and never captures. am i doing something wrong or is it broken? i have already tried enable/disable the "disable downwind ILS" option thing but no change edit: the default aircraft work fine, currently the only addon i have is hotstart tbm 900

hello i downloaded the zibo 737 today and installed it. when i start the game and start the flight it says that the airfoil is too old or corrupted and i need to update it. Can anyone of you help to get this problem solved as some for some other addons it shows the same error

Hi folks, Not sure if anyone else has had this problem when creating a new plane in PM. I've attached Blender objects to my plane in Plane maker, but when setting the X-plane parts to 'invisible', the aircraft's icon disappears in X-Plane's moving map. This is happening on Mac/PC, XP versions 11.41, 11,5r3 etc. I've checked other designer's aircraft, and played with the visibility settings and their aircraft appear just fine on the map. Can't seem to find a pattern to get mine to work. I'm a relative newbie so maybe I've just been a goof and missed something? Any ideas to solve this are welcome. Thanks!

Hi Guys, I just bought the BSS IAE soundpackage for my Toliss a321. I copied and pasted the fmod and plugins folder in my Toliss a321 main folder. As soon as i started xplane and loaded up this aircraft I get the message "couldnt load proper master bank" and then crash to desktop. I removed all AI planes, removed all addon/plugins and let xplane installer rebuild the master banks.bank files. This is the error I get, and I cannot seem to figure it out. I've got the right tiles downloaded, and everything within Ortho4XP seems to be 'pointed' the right way in terms of how the folder structure is set up... I purchased the Carenado 300 not realizing they only have a Phenom 100 X-Plane version. Does any one have influence with them to get a Phenom 300 sim?

This is the touch screen panel for the Carenado Seneca V G600 that I put together with Air Manager, Reality XP, and Saitek FIPs for the backup airspeed, attitude, and altitude indicators (on the left exterior of the panel, not shown): Most of the instruments for the Seneca V were already publicly available but I still had to set them up kinda sorta like the actual panel. Bad news is that not all the instruments work right. The TIT (Turbine Inlet Temperature), CHT (Cylinder Head Temperature) don't get any data or don't get the right values. Hi guys, I know, nobody knows probably but.... I've been looking at this plane for a long time. I fly the majestic dash in p3d and the legacy q400 in xplane11 but the latter one is absoly sh.. in VR. I really love xplane11 in VR but I only fly the q400. What is the expected development time for these kind of study level planes, I have no idea. I keep checking flyjsims website multiple times a day but I really don't know if that is realistic.... Any ideas guys? Thanks Jozeff

I just bought and installed X-Plane 11 and found (of course) that flying using the mouse and keys is not much fun or very realistic. So it's time to get some flight controls. I'm a GA pilot and will mostly be flying GA planes in the sim, so a control wheel would be better than a stick. If it matters, I'll be using a Win 10 computer with 32 GB RAM and a 1 TB SSD. - I've read a bunch of reviews and sim pilots seem to rave over the Honeycomb Alpha Flight Yoke and Switch Panel. What do you think? - Are there any good and also inexpensive rudder pedals available? All comments appreciated.

So I'm EXTREMELY late to the party, but boy am I glad I showed up anyway. I started flight-simming in 2012, jumping into FSX. I've been doing it since then, going several months on, several months off. Lately it's been nearly a year since I last virtually flew. I've known about X-Plane, but always stuck with FSX as it was very familiar, like a old, warm blanket. Then, of course, MSFS comes out and I jumped back in. My VA (FlyVirtual) uses simcars for recording flights. It doesnt let you start the flight until after X-Plane is open. The problem is, I use VR (for two days now) and once I get into the cockpit, I cant access simcars or anything on my desktop. Or at least I cant figure out how. How do you guys start VA flights in VR?

Apart from Simcoder’s REP versions of Cessna 172 and Piper Arrow and Turbo Arrow, do you know any aircraft that includes ground handling, maintenance functions as checking engine status, oil quantity? I am aware of Spectr-Aero SP 30 which seems to have a lot of maintenance functions. In addition, Uncle Jack Fairchild PT-19 seems to have a lot of engine control functions. Do you know any other aircraft, preferably general aviation, with ground handling functions? Thanks

Hi All Just bought RC4toXPlane and I'm having a few problems with it. Every time I start Radar Contact 4 (inside or outside X-Plane) I get errors about a missing F4ResManager.msi file (which I think is a Microsoft FSX file, if I recall correctly). I don't have FSX installed and I thought that the whole point of the RC4toXPlane was to "spoof" Radar Contact 4 into thinking X-Plane was FSX. What am I doing wrong? Thanks Nick C

Given what just happened to me at the x-plane.org forum about the RWDesigns Mustang post questioning why the x-plane.org store is still selling this product when its developer did not respond to any question for more than a year. This is the time when you appreciate the AVSim forum as having no commercial interest, because my post was taken down, and I was given a penalty by asking the x-plane.org store to be clear on its product page about non supported product and to clearly label them as "as is" so buyer is aware.
