Hi there, I am new here on AVSIM. Right now I am going crazy for something I cannot seem to solve in mij XPLANE 11.50 (running Vulkan). Have CPU 9900K and GPU 2800TI FF A320 cockpit view with ALL sliders set to minimum in the settings and only getting 50 FPS. My CPU frame time = 0,02 and my GPU frame time = 0,004. I guess the CPU is bottlenecking the FPS but how can it be? It's running on 5GHz no throttling, no C state, usage on average is about 25% ... What am I missing here? Tx, Olivier

I have seen the GTN 750 installed in the panel of the default 172 but have not been able to install it in 11.50. Anybody who has done this please tell me how. Greg

I loaded in X-Plane a Carenado C182T G1000 Skylane. I use Simionic PFC - MFD on iPAD's synced to X-Plane. All works great except the Low voltage CAS light remains illuminated on the PFD due to Bus E showing 23.9 volts on the Carenado C182 in X-Plane. It need to show 24 Volts on the Carenado C182 in X-Plane. Carenado say's I have to ask on the forum how to edit this value as they cannot edit an airplane.

I may have reported this some time ago but can't find the thread. Anyhow when I enter the 737 cockpit in 3D, the camera is facing the rear of the cockpit and I cannot get it to swing round to the correct position. I've tried running XP11 from a clean boot (I first had this after playing around in FS20, rage quitting and going to XP) and still get the issue. I've tried verifying Steam files and that hasn't helped. Any suggestions, please?

Hey im thinking to buy one of the TrueEarth addons especially for bush flying in the US, or maybe in EU? the reason i want to switch region because Xenviro does not cover major and small non updated metar airport in my region, previously i want to fly in papua. Hi all, I have two monitors, one a 42 inch which I run at 4K, and another 23 inch I run at 1080P. No matter what I do XP11 will not let me run these as I choose. My 42in is recognized as the default monitor but will never seem to go into a windowed mode, not at its native resolution anyway, and previously had to use a lower res just to get it to go into windowed mode, now windowed mode doesn't even show up as an option. My second monitor is sometimes recognized, sometimes not, sometimes I can move my pop-up screens, sometimes not, and then they go over to the second monitor then quickly spring back to the main monitor. Hey guys, so i bought two airplanes from this company named Aerosphere. They are the Piper Warrior II Turbo and the Piper Warrior II 161. They were $24.95 ea. But here is my issue. When i purchased them through X-Planestore.org, they did not come with serial numbers that i need to activate them in X-plane once i installed them. X-Plane store told me i need to get them from Aerosphere directly. Well i have emailed them 5 different times in the past week and they never get back to me with the serial numbers i need to fly these planes. Hi I am recreational pilot no longer flying solo and am eager to do some flight sim. I have played around with an older version of Xplane on my iMac. However, the more up to date versions require a better platform. I am a pensioner on a tight budget (getting tighter with the pandemic and financial situation). Is it feasible to get a decent platform for the latest Plane secondhand and if so what roughly am I up for - include a decent monitor. I am happy with minimum requirements specs rather than having plenty of reserve. Thanks guys

Hi xplane11 steam users! I've been flying around in Xplane11 for years but I bought it via .org store. I've been trying to increase cockpit size in vr for a year or two now. I've set iPd to 58 in oculus software for my rift s. In p3d you can choose steamvr software to adjust iPd to a lower level to increase cockpit size. Is this possible in Xplane11 via steamvr or does xplane only use oculus software? Yes, I know the cockpit size in XP11 is accurate but I have a kind of deviation so that I can only fly comfortably when cockpit size is abnormally large. Thanks for any advice! Jozeff

Whilst the flight model for the Cub seems generaly quite well done, I see that Im not alone in finding a lack of elevator authority in the roundout and flare, a three pointer is almost impossible without adding a an unrealistic chunk of power or coming in too fast Has anyone come up with a workaround for this, its a shame as it spoils what would otherwise be my goto Bush Plane

Hello, I am new to using flight simulators. I am trying to run a Garmin 750 plug in from Reality XP and the Aspen EFD 1000 from Sim Innovations in Xplane 11. All works well, except I have no course guidance. When I start the Garmin 750 in the game, the test it has you do at first works only partially - DTK is not shown on the Aspen but the course momentarily shows half left. It shows no half up on the glideslope. If I select VLOC or GPS mode on the Garmin, the Aspen reacts accordingly at the bottom showing "NAV1" or "VLOC". However, no change in course or heading or course guidance no matter what type of approach I log or in what mode. Any ideas on how I could tackle this…

I was wondering if anyone else was having trouble connecting X-Plane 11.50 with Air Navigation Pro on Ipad. Apparently Air Nav Pro now no longer needs a plugin (it worked fine with one), but I simply cannot understand the instructions on their website. This is what it says: X-Plane Plugin With ANP iOS 8.0.300 and onward. Pilots do not need to install any plugins to connect X-Plane. Standard position/attitude sharing settings for sharing via a network (UDP) must be turned on in X-Plane settings. What's currently the "best" or easiest/most straightfoward way to make the ground look like it's being hit by direct sunlight? Ideally... with more pronounced cloud shadows... thanks

Hi guys, See my question..... Tried several Lua scripts I found online but my shadows keep appearing. Due to fps issues I'd like to disable cockpit shadows completely but I don't know how? Any tips? Thanks in advance! Jozeff
