May 16, 20197 yr This is the error I get, and I cannot seem to figure it out. I've got the right tiles downloaded, and everything within Ortho4XP seems to be 'pointed' the right way in terms of how the folder structure is set up... " ERROR: file C:/Users/xxxxx/OneDrive/Desktop/X-Plane 11/Custom Scenery\Earth nav data+20-090+29-083.dsf absent. Recall that the overlay source directory needs to be set in the config window first." At this point I am just not sure how to proceed, I've tried to basically re-do everything but continue to see this error only when doing the overlays portion of the process.
May 18, 20197 yr I use HD scenery V4 and I simply tick the 'custom overlay directory", navigate to it and select it. HD scenery V4 resides in the custom scenery folder. If you want to use normal global scenery as an overlay, it resides in xplane 11/Global Scenery/Xplane 11 Global Scenery. I hope this helps Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

December 23, 20205 yr Xplane global scenery should be a folder in your main Xplane folder. If it isn't there, I suggest re-installing Xplane. My folder path is X-Plane 11\Global Scenery. In the global scenery folder there are two other folders, X-Plane demo areas and X-plane global scenery Stu i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.
