I've mentioned it in the preview thread but I think it's big enough news to justify it's own. Rotate have put out a video announcing their MD-11 is realising Thursday 24th March 2022. Going to be quite a month or two (maybe 3) for tubeliner fans on all sims.

I do not have XP11, but I am interested in the MD11, CapCanada is streaming the pre release of the air plane on YouTube. Here Please be advised: This streamer stops for EVERY donation. I'm OK with streamers, but this stream is a little bit too much for me!

Yesterday I received a notification about version 2 of the Mitsubishi being in development, I believe still for X-plane 11 but hopefully also for X-Plane 12 without having to pay for the upgrade into the new version of the simulator.... This was once my preferred addon for X-Plane, by then in version 10. Hello everyone, just got the A350, but when i install a livery, only engine cowlings are painted on livery colors and the rest of the aircraft is white, what could be my problem?

About the only cheap tablets now are the 7-8 inch Android ones that usually have to do with Raspberry etc....I don't know anything about that... but I was wondering if you got one of those ...could you drag a small part of your instrument panel like the autopilot and put it on the tablet as a second monitor without using Air Manager ....?or any other touch monitor you could find..

Hi guys, I have three 4k tv's running on 1920x1080 perfectly fine with 30-40 fps. As soon as I ad a 4th screen in the xplane11 setup window (also a 1920x1080 screen) the fps starts at 30 or so and runs to 20, 10, 5, 1 fps and then crash to desktop within 10 seconds. Most of the time I have to restart my pc because I have run out on video memory. This phenomenon is independent of the graphical settings. If I put all sliders to the left this also occurs. I can run one or two of my tv's at 4k and the third one on 1080 without problems in xplane11 (18 megapixel total). I can even run three 4k tv's with about 8-12 fps in xp11 without getting this video er…

Hi guys, Last year I tried to learn the zibo/pmdg737 but since i only have 2 ot 3 hours time per week I decided to purchase a smaller plane for a bit easier procedures and shorter flights. I'm looking at the hotstart 900 and torquesim sr22. The first one isn't very easy to learn as I understand but maybe a little less time consuming than the airliners. Also aerobask lancair legacy coms to mind. . What would you suggest? Recently purchased the Reality XP GNS 530W and GNS 430W V2. Installed in three aircraft with no problems. The only issue is that when installed, the range up/down buttons give reversed responses. Zoom In should reduce the range, Zoom out should increase the range. These buttons do work properly on the Reality XP units and the installed X Plane versions until added in a instrument panel. I've seen some prior posts to get around this, but not sure where to make a change. Thanks for any direction.

X plane has a pretty good interface with Arduino now.... is there any issue using the Arduino interface with Mac OS??I saw a video on using it in Windows and its easy to set commands for hardware..what about Mac..?

I just purchased the Thranda Beaver and I also found out about the REP addon by simcoders that's supposed to make the plane more realistic but I'm having an issue when I try to load a flight with the REP version of the plane. I get an error message saying there was a minor error with two different files, then X-Plane crashes. I like the Rnav approaches you can do in X. It leads you in and does altitude too but not perfectly. I find that if I trim it turns off the AP and when you get it back on the plane has a hard time getting back on an exact track.Any tips on dealing with these issues and mastering the AP approach...?

i tried to download the software for my new flight sim and my windows 10 said the file was malware and detected a virus. how do i go about install? there is no number on your site for technical help

Hello, I have just had to reinstall windows 11 due to a boot error and I now get a database error on starting P2ATC. I have tried to install navigraph data using their FMS data manager but cannot remember where to point the files. Anyone can help?

Its been over three years now since I discovered "I can never go back to 2D", and back then that wasn't really a positive thing, because the VR experience was not flyable. That's a difficult message to get across - if VR wasn't flyable, and 2D is "fine", how can it be logical that you can never go back to 2D from VR.... But since then I have seen a few other people share the same sentiment, so "it's not just me", so before getting to why VR is now flyable it probably needs explaining why you would want to. 172. G1000 if you are paused can you select autopilot and HDG or Nav or approach???? its hard to mouse and use a joystick...it would be good if there was a hardware autopilot you could set up on your desk and just press a button..if it was cheap...unlike the joysticks and rudder pedals..

The 172 STech 55 AP has no on/off. It is easy enough to map a AP disconnect but can you map a button on a Thrustmaster to specifically turn on HDG on the AP?? That turns on the AP and selects HDG...thanks for info... Mac M1 Big Sur.
