This will solve many many problems regarding OpenGL->Vulkan bridge for plugins and finally x-plane will not be in the mercy of AMD or Nvidia drivers:

• No more flickering/non-rendering plugins on AMD GPUs in XP12 on Windows and Linux.
• No more use of dirty and potentially buggy driver hacks that might break someday on Nvidia GPUs.
