August 2, 20223 yr Looks absolutely gorgeous, love AviationLads trailers. PC specs: i5-12400F, RTX 3070 Ti and 32 GB of RAM. Simulators I'm using: X-Plane 12, Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) and FlightGear.

August 2, 20223 yr Nitpick mode: Some water spay from the jet blast and tyres during takeoff would have been nice to see. 😅 Edited August 2, 20223 yr by Bjoern 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
August 2, 20223 yr More nitpicks: The front wheels look to be floating above the ground as it taxis to its parking spot and; The cabin seat textures are mirrored. They need to shift the UVs around a little.
August 2, 20223 yr Overall looks pretty decent. Hope the FMS works at least for basic LNAV/VNAV. I don't need everything functioning but basic operations should work. I'll definitely be buying XP12. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

Another example: the very sharp reflections in the water off in the distant tarmac could use some blurring. 5 hours ago, Bjoern said: Some water spay from the jet blast and tyres during takeoff would have been nice to see. I bet the particle system could be applied here? Even smaller nitpick: using the word "Limitations" to describe the Citation X?!? :) EDIT: I'm betting this is a function of multi-lingual video editors. August 3, 20223 yr Looks quite nice, i liked the reflections. Clouds looks a bit low quality, i assume for performance reasons. Same happened initially with other sims offering noise generated clouds. Noticed the floating feeling too, hopefully they'll fix it later on. Chock 1.1: "The only thing that whines louder than a jet engine is a flight simmer."
August 3, 20223 yr Wow, that airport has some seriously bad drainage 😁 It looks great though. Maybe needs some better AA though. I'm hoping the 4000 series GPU does it justice when it's released.
August 3, 20223 yr Yeah my main point of worry for XP12 is subpar AA. Hope we're not stuck with the underwhelming options present in XP11 and wonder if they finally introduce a temporal AA option, which is def. the way to go for a flight sim. - Currently giving X-Plane 12.10 a spin on Shadow PC. 10 years with X-Plane now, since 10.20

Indeed, I'd be very disappointed if we don't see a TAA option. August 3, 20223 yr Sounds like there is new AA coming in addition to FSR1, but no TAA yet. Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...
