After updating their Cherokee 140 a couple of weeks ago the lovely VFlyteAir C150 is next to get an update with TDS GTN support and other fixes. Hopefully their Piper Arrow and Twinkie are coming along soon as well and then we can start dreaming of an XP12 update to their Turbo Otter and C42 Ikarus and maybe even the Grumman AA5-B Tiger

Need your help... for a long time I had been using SimHeaven in the "?.." part of the thread tittle. Actually Global Forests (Orbx) and MEP were both very recent additions, but I recall some of you mentioning a payware product that offers autogen structures and covers Europe, part of South America and, if I'm not mistaken North Africa too(?). I don't recall it's name, I'm also not sure if it's available for Xp12 natively or was a Xp11 product that might be installed in Xp12 too, so, I'm asking for any suggestions. Hello everyone, I'm working with A319 for generating some flight trajectories simulations. I was wondering about the behaviour of the engines and their expected values for thrust. In particular which values of inlet compression efficiency and Normal Shock Mach should be set and which value of thrust in the chart "thrust with mach and altitude" is reasonable to expect. I have been amused lately at the stream of posts advocating mods and various tweaks to XPlane 12. Not sure why on the technical aspects other than scenery issues (that will get fixed up eventually) - I have been more than happy to ride along with XP12 and the various beta updates and found no reason to tweak or adjust anything - so I run a bog standard sim setup as Laminar makes it - works fine for me. Greetings, Can someone please help me? After several years of error free X-Plane I am dealing with a problem. After several months of being away from XPlane i just logged into the sim that immediately updated to the most recent version of 12.14-r3-c8d19b62 (build 121407) Started the sim and got a message that it crashed reading X -Plane appears to have crashed due to a plugin. Please remove this plugin as a first step. If you think this is incorrect, email a screenshot of this message to support. Crash Details as_xconnect12. I am firmly an XP12 admirer after a week and a half. I have a clean sim with just three plugins (X-Camera, Headshake & LiveTraffic) that is running smoothly with Lossless Scaling. I have only been flying the default C172's because they fly so well. Now I know I am sticking with XP12, I am going to buy a single payware GA aircraft to fly to death ☺️ The RealSimGear DA40 looks good, as does the TorqueSim SR20/22 - the Entegra display looks interesting. I am deciding between these two, OR would the majority recommend something else? Single or Twin GA is how I fly in the sim. I hope somebody can help me find the source of a regular stuttering in XP12. I have dialled in XP12 to my preferences and am loving what I see, but this stuttering is driving me a little crazy. I have my FPS capped at 45 using RivaTuner, and use Lossless scaling X2 to get a very smooth 90 - as smooth as I always get in MSFS 2024. Approx. every minute I get a severe stutter that lasts about 25 seconds. The RivaTuner Graph shows this badly affecting Frame Times. After 25 seconds the display returns to butter smooth. This repeats constantly. If I check Plugin Admin I see no 'cost' against any plugin. If I go into the performance tab, I just see a solid circle for X-…

What's the last best setting for this? I' on an RTX 3060 Ti. Have been staying with "Off" but I really don't know if the new updates to Xp12.2 would benefit from setting it to "Auto" or "On" ?

Very easy to get positional data into these two EFB's, but I'm not able to get traffic to appear. I have been using Xmapsys for years, but it requires XUIPC to be installed into XP12. However, XUIPC doesn't appear to be working. Can anyone offer advice for this?

Hi everyone! Have been setting up Linux Mint Cinnamon and was pleasantly surprised by the results. I installed xp12 and suddenly realized there is no native multiple screen support in Linux for the sim. I'm a bit disappointed because I've been simming for years using three screens in win7/10/11 Any help would be appreciated! Jozeff

Not from me - I am absolutely smitten with XP12 beta 6. Initially anybody coming from MSFS2020, and especially 2024, is likely to take one look at default XP12 and just think it is awful. XP12 needs a few days of installing addons and tuning the lighting and graphics. If this is done, one can only stare at the screen in amazement at what XP12 can produce. A long running discussion has taken place for years about which sim has the best flight dynamics. Again, if XP12 is given a few days, it becomes apparent XP12 aircraft have a wonderful feeling of inertia, stability, smooth control inputs and great turbulence effects.
