I would like to go to a single right foot brake pedal mounted next to my rudder pedal board. I only need a simple cheap pedal maybe meant for driving sim originally. Something USB that is recognized by XP 11. Anyone here know a good pedal that will work?

Hi Everybody, I was doing real well (performance wise) using Nvidia 572.70 drivers with the latest Gigabyte bios update and chipset upgrade... with that said... I just spent another two days reducing my Windows 11 background apps from 58 to 23 and my window processes from 90 down to 57. Hard to believe my I9-10900's (external visuals) can keep up with the 7950x3D (server/center visual) as far as stutters/flickers. Although the I9's use more memory than the 7950x3D setup. 7950x3D = CPU 10% usage - Memory 24% I9-10900 = CPU 10% usage - Memory 41% This was worth two days of trial and error!

So, yesterday I purchased Lossless Scaling, since I had to install Steam to try a Head Tracker trial ( Beam Eyetracker ). This version is surely more complete than the first I had seen youtubes about. I decided to try it over Lisbon, Madrid, Paris and NY, increasing the Graphics settings to their extremes, and was puzzled by the outcome ! I'm using Map Enhancement Pro with Apple textures, xEnviro 1.34 and my tests were run with the Zibo 738, the Toliss A319 and the default C172 1000. WOW! But at times, specially over NY, I noticed that I was on a 3060 Ti with just 8GB VRAM, and a 5600x CPU, so, I reverted to my usual settings and made two experiments, …

Hmmm, I honestly don't notice it 🤔 Does it have to be enabled in the settings menus? And if yes, where exactly?

The default RV 12 in XP 11 has good graphics and looks but its speed to RPM relationship is WAY off.... I remember years ago I found where the actual plane settings were ,at least the ones that could be adjusted.. but I can't find that page now....where is the settings data for the stock planes that allows you to play around with how the planes behave .....the RV 12 has a cruise speed of at least 150 mph but the sim version at 4500 rpm it shows only 90 knots....has anyone here played around with this and got it going better..?

if you adjust a response curve for a specific plane will X plane 11 remember it for that plane only? Usually these adjustments are used for how your rudder or ailerons work etc but can you use response curves for how fast your plane is going straight ahead for every notch of the throttle forward?? without over rev of the rpm...??so the rpm and speed would be separate to some degree...?? its convenient to have these hardware adjustments...it would be good if they covered more performance stuff also...that way its not necessary to change complicated coding ...

Hi, Just installed the latest offering from Nvidia 572.70 and my rides in New York, New Jersey, Chicago and L.A have been just about stutter/flicker free.

AoA posted a progress update on their remastered F-35... ...and snuck in some "in the gray" teaser renders of a B-1 they're working on! I hadn't heard of this before - pretty exciting for a guy like me!

I have a 23" full HD (1920x1080) 60hz monitor. My GPU is the RTX 3060Ti. Would I benefit from Lossless Scaling? And what setup in terms of base and multiplier would you recommend? Thx for any hints👍

I have a 2nd monitor, an old hp TFT monitor offered by a friend. I'm using it for all of the ancilliary tasks, like the app I now use to start xp12, Navigraph charts, AsXp... I started the toliss A32N and opened ISCS and clicked the window icon in the top right corner of the popup and then moved the ISCS window to the 2nd monitor... All of a sudden my FPS dropped from a stable 30 towards 15..12... 🥴 Is this an xp12 or a toliss problem? Since this is the first time I'm using a 2nd monitor I wonder if this is a known issue, and would like to understand the cause...

Q8 pilot test rode through the upcoming GTNXi 750 for X-Plane 12 using new released CitationJet 525. It is looking great. However, I am a bit confused. I have Reality XP GTN 750/650 touch. What is the value prop and differentiator between these two products? Looks like XP Aircraft that supports GTN will be supporting both.

When I am opening the sim a little window pops up in the center of the screen (after aircraft loads) that says "IPC Mismatch". Then the scene unloads and I get a box asking if I want to report the crash. I've tried searching for this error message but have had no luck.

First of all I want to apologize for my bad English, I hope you guys can understand me well. Also I want to say that I don't only use X-plane for civil Aviation I also have MFS, both simulators have very high level addons and it is silly to close with only one simulator, but it is true that I spent 80% of the time with XP12. 1 The first and fundamental reason to use X-Plane as the main product is because we do not have to depend on the cloud, that some servers work well or the whim of some shareholders who decide to close the game service tomorrow. 2 Another point almost as important as the first. All development is focused on what I personally care about in thi…

Still on the theme of the right rolling moment observed on twin prop aircraft in X-Plane 12, at least the default B58, C90, as well as the 3 DC-3 addons I have tested, and other twin props which are freeware and available for instance from the Org repository, I have to say that the lift vector that is clearly visible as a the leading force when the flight model visualization mode is active, with it's origin on the port wing just behind the port propeller plane of rotation, is the justification "X-Plane 12 gives" to this "anti-torque" rolling tendency (I am assuming here CW rotating props). I confess that my first reaction was to understand it as being plausible, prob…

One things MSFS does much better than X-Plane 12 when used with either default or ASXP12 weather, is fog and how it is visible from above, as you fly away from the area... This morning LPPT was involved by dense fog, so I started a flight from there in the Toliss, and it surely was tricky to even taxi to the rw. Took off, started to climb through the SID and then, all of a sudden, the dense cloud cover disappeared and there were blue skies with just a few patches of clouds bellow where the dense fog was supposed to lay... I disconnected the AP, manually flew back for a few miles and again, all of a sudden, there was the dense fog again and me inside of it 😕…

The long awaited X-Plane 12 update has been released for the Nimbus UH-1 and it free for Aimee who has a copy of the XP12 version https://store.x-plane.org/Nimbus-UH-1-XP1211_p_1037.html (This is original military version, a similar free update for the civilian version is due to follow along shortly) I've been flying the XP11 version reasonably successfully in XP11 but there have been a number of issues so it's great to finally be able to take up an XP12 native version.
