Hello, I am looking for review if anyone purchased this. Pretty surprised on such a low profile release. From the store page. This model is one of the most comprehensive and in-depth simulations published to date by Thranda, and is a continuation of Thranda’s "Dynamic Generation Series". More about the DGS Series The PC-12 is a pressurized, single-engine turboprop passenger and cargo aircraft manufactured by Pilatus Aircraft of Stans, Switzerland. It is designed for flexibility, with the capability to operate from short, unimproved airstrips, making it ideal for regional transport, corporate travel, and utility missions. Thranda’s …

That's what I call revolutionary simulation 😁. The technical description ...: Windshield Rain Effects and Windshield Ice Effects. ... and the respective eye candy - it simply works.

As the title says, how do we set key assignments for the two rotor trims? Or is it included in just "trim"? It is hard not to be MSFS-centric 😄 Thank you

As Steam's Winter Sale is alive, I think I'm jumping in to X-Plane 12. I will mostly fly helicopters. I have tried MSFS 2020 and 2024 helicopter physics and quite familiar with them. Can I expect XP-12 default helicopters provide better than the two sims? Thank you.

After watching jcomm's excellent FF757 video and much contemplation (yeah, right) I fear I may have fallen down the XP-12 rabbit hole. I have a meager system that runs P3Dv5.4 quite well, and thought I'd give the XP-12 demo a try, just in case it performed well. I did just that, and guess what? It was very smooth with default settings on my system. I think I may have to make the purchase, now! : ) Setting up my t16000 stick and twcs throttle was pretty straight forward and I only need to dig a bit deeper on several button assignments when I install the Zibo 737-800. If that works well, I will most likely buy the FF 757. It's going to take some t…

Hi everyone. I've been searching around for a direct answer to this but I'm struggling a little. I have installed Orbx Great Britain South into XP12 which looks great from a few thousand feet. I want to improve Irish scenery (where I live) in the sim but Orbx does not currently provide Irish scenery. The first step to doing this is to install HD Mesh Scenery v4 Tile +50-010 Europe. However, this tile also covers the South of England. The question I have is , will HD Mesh Scenery v4 Tile +50-010 conflict with Orbx Great Britain South? OR will it possibly improve the scenery? I'm trying to build up a knowledge base on XP12 as I believe it has…

I have been eyeing down X-Plane 12 for a bit now and I think I want to buy it, however after seeing MSFS 2024 I am debating whether to get X-Plane 12 or MSFS 2024. While I value the realism in planes X-Plane gives, I also want good graphics and a wide selection of aircraft that MSFS gives since addons for X-Plane are very much expensive. MSFS also is overbudget for me so thats why im debating if I should get that or X-Plane. Please give your thoughts on this.

In retrospective, no lack of action in X-Plane so far. X-Plane platform patches up to 12.1.3 by itself is a big accomplishment and not to mention steady stream of new hire by Laminar Research particularly MisterX. Here are the high profile releases/updates FF 777v2 ToLiss 330-900 XCraft e-Jets upgrades Rotate MD-11 Pax version TorqueSim CJ 525 Just Flight PA-28R Turbo Arrow III/IV Not to mention many other smaller developers releasing aircraft, airports, scenery, freeware mods, etc. I am pleasantly surprised how much is still happening in this platforms and so much to do. Strangely enough the biggest impact for me is X-…

Any favourites that AVSIM readers have ? In addition to having reasonable flight qualities I am also looking for a realistic level of unreasonable ground handling qualities (directional instability, ground looping tendency.) All together adding up to reminding me what my feet and rudder pedals are for. Any opinions gratefully received . Cheers Tim

I bought the Realsimgear software. I use the GNS 430 in XP 12. I finally got it working. That was not easy. Now I see that airports are missing in the database. EHTW is a former military airport. Still active. However, I can't find it in the GNS 430. Not in the icao/IATA designation. Did I miss an update here? If so, how can I get that update?
