I bought a new GNS 430W from Reality XP, Flight1. The Avionics stack Garmin Control unit would not connect with either GNS on the instrument panel monitor(old and new). Also, after I downloaded the new GNS 430, the mouse would not work on the outer circle of the FMS knob of the new GNS, nor would the Avionics stack unit connect to it. Now the old GNS has connected to the Avionics stack. It can be operated normally. I found where you turn on the PFC stack. It is working great, except for being outdated. Hi all, I've been a long time user of Microsoft flight sims, but I haven't moved past FSX due to not really getting along with the newer MSFS. I recently tried the demo of XP12 and I was blown away. It looks fantastic and for me, the flight model is a world above MSFS. Flying in XP12, if only for 15 minutes, felt like the aircraft have mass, compared to my previous experiences with MSFS where to me, again just an opinion, the flight model feels more arcade like. With my discovery today that the HS C650 is on sale @ $100, I'm seriously considering giving it a go. OTOH, the FF 777 seems to be low key at a similar fidelity level, minus the fancy "here's how a jet engine works" animations... Obviously, I understand the rather fundamental differences between the IRL aircraft, etc. I couldn't care less about the FBO walkthrough in the HS, tbh. I know the 777 isn't yet finished. VR in XP11 has worked before. Now I can't switch to VR. The XP11 view is not displayed on my HP Reverb G2 headset. I see a black screen. Or sometimes when turning off VR in XP I see the 2D view in my headset or something else. I use Win 11 and WMR and Steam VR starts normally and I have not made any changes to my settings. Any idea what I could do here ?

Long time MSFS 2020 user, have used FSX and FSW in the past, got x plane 11 in steam sale for 8 quid. Just want to know of anything i should be aware of on first getting into it, is it easy to set up and can i be flying pretty quickly using a controller?

What’s new in X-Plane 12.1.3? | X-Plane

Hi folks, My Xplane 12 graphics have always been not blurry as lots of people complain about but grainy, shimmery and pixellated. The clouds look blocky and pixellated. It is driving me mad, not least because people like Q8Pilot, who has a similar system to mine, has a sim that looks lovely. Is there something I’m doing wrong? It doesn’t seem it has anything to do with VRAM which is more than sufficient when I monitor it while using XPL. Has anyone else had this? I don’t have it in MSFS or P3D, or any other application, for that matter. Maybe it’s my monitor that is incompatible with Xplane, but why would that be? Cheers all

Clicking either of the choices does nothing to get rid of the message. Is there a file setting anywhere in the x-plane folder I can edit to get rid of it. Just as a FYI, the x-plane folder is in my “C” directory. I also noticed after updating that any other changes like keyboard assignments are not saved anymore as well. Thanks in advance for any help

It seems they are aiming "study level" if I dare to use this word... I'll keep an eye on this one, but won't buy it until they have fixed the KA350 for XP12 (which they also announced) ... it still leaves bitter taste for me.... nice system but way off aerodynamically.
