I am planning on making the move to PC and MS 2024. bye X plane 11. Do you guys think X is going to be better in the future??? I am betting MS is better now and their pay ware planes are very adjustable...... thats important..

Greetings, I haven't used X Plane 12 a lot recently. The other day started it and updated to the most recent release 12.1.0 rc2. Graphics seem to be wonky, The first problem is that even though I enable AI aircraft, none appear when I fly. The other issue is I do a lot of flying at KSMO which is Santa Monica airport in Calif. When I take off headed west over the ocean, the beach and shorelines are loaded with trees that should not be there. This is not normal. I never had a problem with AI aircraft before or trees where they absolutely should not be, Can somebody please give me an idea as to what might be going on? Thank you in advance.

Does anyone know if they are still planning to make their Boeings compatible with XP12? I know they were saying there will be a fee, but for now I don't see anything at all. It kind of makes me want to hold off on getting the Q400 if they will be as slow as they have been updating their stuff.

Hi all, Any word on whether the XP12 version of TedCook's TriMotor is worth buying? I have the AH TriMotor for MSFS but it's AH... so not ideal. I know there is another one coming for MSFS soon, but I am not sure if that one is gonna have a modern avionics pkg with GPS available... I know Ted Cook's offers GNS430 as an option. Any consensus on this? Would be much appreciated.

I have had enough trying bad products from X Plane.org. None of them have worked correctly. Has anyone tried the Baron 58 in X plane 11 on an M1 Mac and bought it directly from Carenado? Was it worth it? What makes it better than the freeware stock Baron ..???

I have just downloaded Xplane today and my rudder is having problems with the toe brake. When it is pressed it is off and vice versa. I have seen other posts that suggest turning on the reverse axis but I've done it to no avail and have tried everything. I need help as the game is unplayable. Thank you.

Along my long simmer life I have never really gotten into virtual / simulated ATC. Tried VATSIM and IVAO long ago, but it could not fit my disponibility to seat at the desktop for a flight simulator session during those times... or find some active controllers available for the regions I used to try to fly from - to. I'm still relatively new to XP11 and now Ortho4XP.. i followed some online guides.. most mention downloading the height data from this site, though i'm still having trouble triangulating exactly which square to click on compared to the tile(s) i choose in the map that is part of Ortho4xp.. i also tried looking at the skyvector site to triangulate, but i dont think i was doing it right.. I think when i extracted the height zip file, i was able to find the height file based on the longitude and lat.. however.. my question is, what if you are doing 2+ tiles at one time.. how then do you point it to the custom dem file in step 2 for the mesh?
