After my disappointment with the ugly Duchess 76 cockpit by Thranda that I purchased recently from Justflight I thought lets have more fun this time and fly the default Kingair C90 instead. But to my surprise the button labels on the integrated Garmin GNS 530 are all fuzzy and nearly impossible to read, whereas they are all ok in the default BeechBaron. they are also ok when I pull the Garmin 530 out into a separate window, which then turns from a GNS 530 into a x-plane 530. Also, I can't select KORS Orcas airport in the Kingair default GNS 530, it lets me only select KORSA in Brazil instead. The Baron x-plane 530 version doesn't have that problem. …

Hi, I seem to be getting the same weather at all the airports I go to. I've been to KLAX, KMIA, KJFK, KMDW, KBOS, KDFW, EGCC nothing but rain. Am I the only one, default XP2 weather, no addon.

I am hoping someone who has a GTX4090 will share their X-Plane12 graphics settings as I have fuzzy textures in the cockpit. I have read the vnam discussions and tried multiple settings with no luck. The monitor is 1920 X 1080 and shows the exterior perfectly. This is a new install with no add-ons and a couple of additional aircraft. If your GTX4090 shows shows a sharp cockpit I would be very great-full to know how you are setup. Thanks..

I'm interested in hearing people's experience using X-Plane on the Apple M* chips. I have an older Intel I9 Macbook Pro but have recently ordered an M2 Max (the new ones), I'm curious how XP12 will run on it. Does anyone here use an M1 processor/gpu, what is your experience using them?

Curious how a developer will do a quirky some may say obscure North American Bush Gullwing Biplane and do it to well - not sure- splendid rendition and in XP12. Payware yes by Hangar 23. Amazing quality and modelling. This Aircruiser was a strange beast, good STOL good lifter but noisy and uncomfortable. Worked well in the Canadian North and Artic areas. I recently effed up my right foot and can't use the toe brakes on my Thrustmaster rudder pedals, although I can still use the rudders. In that other sim that shall remain nameless I had no problem assigning a button on my Honeycmb yoke for normal braking, but I have been unsuccessful doing the same in XP12. I have tried every binding choice that comes up when I search for "brakes" but none of them do anything to slow the aircraft down. A search of the forum brought up nothing useful. Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanks! Russ

XP dark cockpit is an issue many user complained and is in the road map of LR to fix it. While it simulate how human eyes works, the is a major inconvenience in a simulation setting on a 2D monitor. I was not aware of this Lua script and it was updated few weeks ago. I've had X-plane a long time, still on X-Plane 11 with a Coranado PA31 and King air 200 with a Real Sim Gear Garmin 530 that no longer works with the King Air 200, the heading bug disappeared I'm really concerned that X-Plane 12 does not provide any light twin or PA31 or King Air 200 with a Garmin 530 option in their aircraft. It seems that IFR practice is no longer a goal of X-Plane but rather scenery. Then when i go to order the Reality-XP product, you can't even download their 30% coupon, if their coupon does not work, it makes you wonder what else in Reality XP does not work. Any ideas appreciated.

Can anyone help with how to set up my controls on Xplane 11 for more realism. I have Saitek yoke with Leo Bodnar adapter for Elevator and Ailerons, Saitek Throttle quadrant and trim wheel, and Saitek pedals. PC is Win10 with i5 4 core running at 4.2GHz 16Gb memory and 250Gb SSD. Whenever I try to fly any of the light GA aircraft the contols feel like they are connected with elastic bands rather than steel cables and are damped with treacle. The reaction to control inputs is so wildly inaccurate it make a normal take off and climb almost impossible. I am trying to reinstall the flight sim but I cannot remember digits for the last box I have memory problems which don't help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was playing with decals for a long time, and finally settled with this one. It's basically an imitation of a grass texture that can be visible only from very low altitudes, and it works/looks the best while on the ground. Just got a budget gaming laptop (i7 + rtx 3050). Im in the crossroad to go with msfs or xplane12. I used to be very active during fs9 and fsx years but had a long break in 2018. I have always been curious whether xp12 ground detail is accurate (roads, highways, lakes, major buildings not only the iconic ones) compared to msfs2020? My main interestnjs flying slow and low or shorthops. Thank you very much.
