I have spent all afternoon trying to figure out why my new Zotac RTX 3090Ti is only performing at around 25fps in MSFS with medium to high settings. My 10980XE is overclocked to 4.8, XMP is enabled in BIOS. I updated my BIOS and have the latest driver installed for the graphics card. Re-sizeable bar is enabled in BIOS. Doing benchmark tests with Furmark on the highest preset available I am averaging 122fps with a min of 110fps. GPU is running at a max of 68 celsius and the GPU Power is max 98% TDP. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I have reinstalled the driver using DDU thinking it was a driver issue but its not. I can only run a max of 60Hz with my…

DisplayPort 2.1: 4K @ 480 Hz, which doesn't mean anything re. fps in games, it is just the max. refresh rate at which it can drive a monitor of same refresh rate - you could also show a still image at 480 Hz if the monitor supports that. looks much nicer than a still image at 60 Hz.😀

Hello all. I just bought a new GSync compatible monitor (not to be confused with a true high end GSync monitor). I am still trying to tweak my settings to make sure I am getting the best performance. My question is, with GSync enabled in the Nvidia Display settings, do those of you with GSync and FreeSync have VSync on or off in the P3D settings? Right now I have it off and we’ll as triple buffering off and VRR on.

Hello folks, As you can see from my signature, I own RTX2080 with 8gb which is alright at the moment. Now some local dealer has an offer for RTX3090 around 1000€ and I am considering to get it, especially after SU10 and DX12, I assume the larger the VRAM, the better MSFS gets? What do you guys think, shall I get RTX3090 or wait for RTX4080 ? thanks

Greetings all, As the subject line states, I'm looking for a flat screen 27" monitor to match with an RTX 3080ti. I'd like to decide on one so I can order it before my new computer, which hopefully will be built this week, ships/arrives. Also, I spent quite some $$$ on the new rig, so would like to keep the cost down as much as possible, but not so much as to completely sacrifice quality/performance. Nvidia released a new fork of GRD driver today, the 522.25, and they are a cut above. I just spent 5 hours with them in P3Dv5.3 flying low and slow (what else?😁) across the southwestern U.S. The driver performed without a glitch, and indeed the repaints for my A2A aircraft again look like they did in P3Dv4. Most importantly, there is this from the release notes: This Game Ready Driver also includes significant DirectX 12 performance optimizations which can dramatically improve performance for GeForce 30 Series GPUs. I'm upgrading to an RTX 4090 GPU and an Intel i9-13900K CPU for MSFS. I had planned to upgrade my 27" 2K monitor to 4K but the proponents of ultrawide have me interested. Does anyone have experience with both?

I am looking to upgrade and am looking at the mid-high range GPUs. I have decided on a 3080 TI or a 6800 XT. They both benchmark about the same in MSFS but the 6800 is about $300 cheaper. Some have reported smoother performance in FS with the 6800. So it is the logical choice for value. BUT, DLSS is Nvidia only. I hear mixed reviews on the quality vs. performance benefit of DLSS. I would hate to have a card that didn’t support it if it was a game-changer. Also, I have discovered VR and love it. That’s actually the primary reason for the upgrade. Thoughts? Thanks!

I have six screens in total and using the top three to span using NVidia Surround and the bottom three for undocking windows and using LittleNavMap All went well ..... the top three screens are being seen as one screen and the bottom three screens as 2 . 3. and 4 My problem is when I start P3D it only opens up in one of the top screens ..... I usually either bump the P3D window up to the top of the screen or click the 'expand' icon in the top right of the P3D window and it will span across all three screens nicely ..... Hello I have relatively new Samsung Q80T 4K TV. I noticed that screen turns black like it goes to a sleep mode. Most of the time if I do not touch keyboard or PC mouse for 5-10 minutes. When I click on keyboard buttons or a mouse the screen turns back on but sound stop working in MS2020. TV sound is fine, GUI in the game like FSFO, RAAS, FSRealistic work. I just do not hear any sound in the cockpit. It happens in PMDG 737 but I am not sure if this is aircraft related. I rarely fly other aircraft. As many of you will know, EVGA are no longer in partnership with Nvidia. EVGA has said they will keep in stock a number of graphics cards in order to fulfill any warranty claims. Obviously, the number of cards they need to retain will be an estimate and I think its worth considering if those of us with extended warranties might find that there are no more replacement cards available, if our graphics cards fail close to the end of the 5 year extended warranty period. I’m not seeing the option for DLSS in the anti- aliasing selection in graphics settings. Is there a trick to it? Windows 10 SU10 DX11 Latest Nvidia driver 522.25 do I have to be on a beta version for this to be selectable?

Hello, like many I’m contemplating a GPU upgrade…likely the 16GB 4080 will be the sweet spot but I’ve also been known to make impulsive purchases so if I actually find a 4090 in stock I might become interested. My question is with a GPU upgrade are there generally any compatibility issues with older motherboards? My specs are in my signature but it’s a Z490 motherboard. I think it mainly comes down to PSU and available space (I have a full size case but would need to do some measurements) but would I have anything to worry about in terms of the motherboard? I’d rather not go full rebuild just yet if I can separately upgrade the GPU. Thanks
