When I fly in VR the monitor is showing what I see as two views. The left eye and the right eye are shown on the monitor. How do I get his to display correctly on the monitor as a single eye? My setup is PC using Virtual Desktop in VR. I am running the PC version of MSFS 2024. I have the Quest 3. Thanks!

Hello everyone, new to this forum coming to you with a VERY annoying problem! I have a Meta 3 with Virtual desktop, load the game through VD and see the game through my pc screen, not VR, naturally I go to the VR settings to toggle VR but the only thing that happens is that upon pushing the VR mode button at the top, the screen goes black then comes back unchanged, even when in cockpit view. It happens also when going through Meta link as well, any help would be SO helpful! Have a great day! PC specs Ryzen 7 9800x3d...AMD 7800XT...64gig RAM

Hello all, I've recently just got back into sim flying a few days ago due to hardware upgrades (and the Oasis driver) and I'm struggling setting up my Reverb G2 in VR. I'm pretty sure I have the hardware to handle at least medium setting, but I think I need to do more adjusting between SteamVR and the in-game graphics settings. I've searched all over YouTube and Google but can't find anything for using the G2 with the new Oasis driver and SteamVR (without the OpenXR Tool Kit which is what I used in the past). I've found videos with people using the Oasis driver and how great it is, but no mention of settings. I'm running with motion smoothing off (as the prop ef…

Hi folks. This may sound like a weird one, it sure does to me. But I am a fairly experienced IT professional (retired) and I cannot figure this one out. I have a pretty standard router in my house (TP-Link AX1800). There are lots of different things on my property that use the WiFi and all of them work perfectly fine all the time, unless my ISP goes down. Now, enter the Quest 3. I used to use the Quest 3 connected to a different WiFi on an access point router. Then life got busy and I did nothing with the Quest 3 for weeks. However, it was plugged in. I do not know exactly when the problem started. Here's the problem: I can have many different devices on my home…

I wanted to squeeze every pretty penny I paid for 5090 so I had this mentality that I must keep things as high as possible, and that includes keeping clouds setting at Ultra in VR. It cost me 10 fps easily and after getting stuck with gloomy live weather for weeks I was finally fed up and lowered clouds setting to High. Geeze, I instantly jumped to >50 fps VR category and that is so refreshing. Feels like that I finally escaped from the grip of the tyranny of Ultra clouds. Can't believe why I had been so stubborn to stick with Ultra clouds for so long. Clouds on high certainly looks good enough.

I am using a Quest 3 and noticed at FS2024 VR graphics a "reprojection mode" setting, with 3 options: Off, Depth and Depth and motion (the later always revert to depth) .- Does my headset support that mode, what is it for, and how should be configurated. Thanks

Hi chaps, a new version of the PP is here with the release notes as below.. cant test it as yet as my CL is still being repaired from when the motherboard in it suddenly died... Pimax Play I. New Features and Improvements: Added Utility Tool, allowing users to monitor key system data such as FPS and memory consumption in real time during gameplay. Users can make targeted adjustments based on this data for a smoother gaming experience. Added Eye-Tracking Data OSC Transmission. After enabling the OSC switch in VRChat, you can directly transmit eye tracking data. This brings more natural and realistic blinking effects to some character models…

This Flysimware Sierra C24R is crackingly good. I fly it in MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 (SU3) and it is one of my favourite lightplanes, alongside the recently released Black Square Barons and Bonanzas. I have one small issue in MSFS2024 - and only in VR - and am wondering if it is a general issue or just a quirk in my own setup. In VR in MSFS2024 the Sierra has a superb look, feel and sound. But if I switch to external view in VR, there is an empty cockpit - no pilot, no passengers where I have chosen them. In 2D it is fine - they're all there - and in MSFS2020, they are there in the external view 2D and in VR. So a quick question to anyone else who is flying the…

I just today got an RX 9070 XT OC (Gigabyte) and it's a whole new world with MSFS2024, with my old 3070ti I had SteamVR Res set at 65% but I've now got that at 100%. Same in game settings with Rain over LA and it was a rock solid 46fps (which is just fine with my Pico 3), no stuttering when panning, smooth visuals everywhere and immense clarity, well happy! Aside the need to tweak and raise some in game settings I have had a quick look around the Adrenalin software, having been with nVidia for 15+ years this AMD software is all new to me. So are there are specific settings to help VR users? I'm guessing, like nVidia, a lot of the stuff is geared towards flat screen b…

Quick question for the smarter than me people. (All of you) I’m using the pimax 8K in MSFS24su4 AIG models and Sayinterntions TFC injection. My hardware is an Ultra 9 285K and 5090gpu. My performance is amazing (PMDG777, no stutters, good frame rates from Taxi to Landing. However (I know it’s a reported problem currently using SI) on touchdown I get the pop up message saying no more VRAM available and frames go to a slideshow. Sometimes I can wait a minute or two and the system recovers back to good FPS and I’m able to taxi to the gate. Other times the recovery takes longer and I give up and restart. My question relates to VRAM recovery. Would in…

Hi all. Yesterday I was watching a video from someone showing the different ways that my Quest 3 could be connected to my PC. It mentioned Steam Link, which I had never heard of before. So I decided to try it. Getting set up and connected is effortless. Not only that but I got the cleanest, clearest, sharpest image I have ever gotten in MSFS using that method. I was not expecting that result. However, once in VR, I had no mouse whatsoever. I read varying statements about ways to get the mouse to work in VR with Steam Link, but I have had no success. I don't want to try to use the Quest controllers to oper…

I probably said this quite a few times before but I couldn't help to say it again: what a heaven it is to practice instrument flight in 2024 VR! I got my instrument rating seven months ago but had been too busy to practice IRL - my IFR currency actually ran out last month. This weekend I took advantage of the real sh**ty weather in my area and did a few instrument flights with live weather. It just wowed me again how unbelievable the VR experience in 2024 is as compared to my real instrument flights. I was flying into thick clouds, practicing holds and turns in the soup, descending through rains and fogs, seeing the runway "environment" right at LPV minimum. Almost …

I demoed the Pimax Dream Air last weekend when it came to town (San Jose, CA). Bottom line is that this tech tech delivers the VR holy grail stated in my title. Check out my detailed experiences here, and as always, this guy drools over everything new in VR.

...in both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024. I had temporarily dropped MSFS2024 SU3 with a number of different aircraft struggling with judders and stutters and decided, based on comments from a number of SU4 beta users about performance improvements, that I would return to it once SU4 was fully released. But, having downloaded Black Square's new pair in both sims, I thought I would give them both a try out in both sims. I tried Bonanza and it was as smooth in 2024 as it was in 2020...and that was a great start as there are still a lot of aircraft that are unusable in SU3 for me on my rig and preferred settings. And, although the Bonanza was the real reason I b…

At FS2024 in VR mode, sometimes after a flight, have no more ground control as pedals fail to work, it happens with the PDMG B777 and Cessna 414, and perhaps other aircraft I didnt try with.- Getting out of VR and returning generally fixes the problem. No problems with same aircraft at FS2020 in VR

Anyone else experiencing this? It happens with MSFS2024 only, whenever in VR I go back to the Menu to adjust a setting or even look at something whenever I return to the game the performance has dropped considerably. It's bad enough that I have to restart the whole game, which is frustrating. I've cleared caches, reinstalled SteamVR, freshly reinstalled nVidia drivers etc but nothing seems to work. It's easy to point the finger at Asobo but as this isn't being widely reported I'm guessing it's something on my end, as far as I can recall it's been happening since around SU2 time and with SU3 & SU4 Beta currently.

I didn't think it'd be possible, but I'm now running my HP Reverb G2 at 100% render scale using TAA with a 45 fps frame lock. It's a smooth and consistent 45 fps (VR with Depth reprojection enabled), though with an occasional stutter in difficult areas near the ground. Using almost full Ultra/maxed settings (only Trees, Grasses and Clouds are at High). Using MSFS_AutoFPS with expert at FPS_cap, TLOD base at 90/150 top at 500/10000. Dang, the cockpit looks so crisp using TAA, along with everything else; there's no need for DLSS. The visual quality with my setting blow my mind; I wish all VR MSFS users could see what's possible. But in the end the G2 itself is far from…
