November 13, 2025Nov 13 Yeah, not much enhance over Q3, and for one thing I can't lay on my pillow to play it comfortably in some case... I hate anything came with Meta but with proper firewall in place it works just fine for now, maybe I'll look into it once my Q3 is broken.

Seems more of a direct competition with Meta HMDs which is no bad thing, need more of that. November 14, 2025Nov 14 I couldn't understand why it's only 2160x2160 LCD per eye - this is so year of 2020. At least 2560x2560 and better yet with OLED? Also the monochrome pass through - we're less than two months away from 2026 and I don't want be back to the 80s. From what I can gather, my next VR will most likely be sth like the next generation of BigScreen Beyond or Shiftall Meganex 8K: 4K per eye OLED, eye tracking, and light weight. In the worst case, I'll go with sth like Pimax Super OLED. Good thing is that I'm pretty happy with the visual of my current Pimax Crystal Light and I can hold for couple years easily. For media consumption and use with my laptop for productivity, I stick with Quest 3. Just bought a second 512GB Quest 3 used for only $200, a steal. 9950X3D / 64GB / RTX5090 / Pimax Crystal Light / Win11
