Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Ever since the 3 gb update (11 beta I think) MSFS loads halfway through and crashes to desktop each time. Any suggestions? Edit: I tried renaming the community folder to take that out of the equation and it's still crashing.

I've tried to load a flight plan using the World Menu and also loaded one using Little Nav Maps and neither one will load.Flying the Diamond DA62 with Garmin G1000Nxi. I had the same thing happen yesterday and couldn't get it to load. This morning everything was fine and I completed a couple of flights. But now it's not loading again. Tried IFR and VFR flight plans, also the Bonanza with the G1000Nxi. Anyone know why? Roy

Since October 12th, when MSFS servers migrated to a new cluister I keep getting the message "Due to unexpected error your game license cannot be authenticated…" When I press OK the game loads on satisfactory. Anyaone else has this? Stelios

I decided to not be part of this beta right away after being in the U10. So I opted out and restarted computer per instructions and then when starting FS from Xbox app, it updated to the Beta 11 anyway. I flew a flight no problems at all with the new Cockspure C510. The next time I started FS it did a new install (actually went back to 10) and then nothing worked. When going to World Map it was pink and weird green yellow with no possibility to pick an aircraft or start a flight. So I quit, main menu worked OK. And I went back and opted in to U11 Beta. Install went fine and now everything is back to working well, so I will stay with beta. Did…

I have finally switched over from FSX-SE to MSF 2021 and still trying to learn the differences. So far it has been an amazing change. I have run into some problems but from this forum many have been fixed. I just purchased FlyTampa’s Boston Logan (Simmarket) and installed. It appeared to install with no problem except in the “community” the date shown was 7/22 and not 10/14. In the Content Manager there are two Boston’s shown, one is by H2 air and one FlyTampa. Is this causing a problem? Should I delete the older? Appreciate any comments,

I think this might be buried somewhere in the FSLTL thread so I apologize for the redundant ask. I currently use PSXT, AIG and the other thing that goes with PSXT (can't think of the name but it is for live traffic). I get very accurate AI injected to my sim. I can look at Flightradar24 and if a United plane is waiting to line up at SFO in real life, that is what I see in the sim. All of the planes seem to be at the right terminals and everything seems to be up to life. What would I gain if I started using FSLTL instead? I am confused as to what the main key differences are. Short and sweet. As I continue to learn and explore the fantastic Black Square B350, I find myself challenged managing certain aspect of VNAV, specifically descent. The Collins AP is very functional and performs exactly as expected. I do have one challenge. The AP has built in profiles for both climb and descent. In both cases the AP adjusts the speed of the aircraft to provide either maximum climb or descent performance, often exceeding 2500 FPM in ether direction. But what if I want to set a controlled decent of say 1000 FPM. As there is in most modern autopilots there is a VS function but the only way to set a VS speed of say 1000 FPM is to look down betw…

You may want to try my little mod that adds active GTN flightplan data to the G3X display. Hi I've changed a long time ago the user but forgot how I did that. Now suddenly, after not using msfs2020 for many months anymore, it wants the old user login which I don't have anymore. I remember that it was a easy removal/change of the old login. Thanks for your help.

This is the second time I've tried to fly from CLE to MDW. On both occasions, I was almost there (the approach phase), and the sim just crashes and closes out. Any ideas as to why this could happen?

Hey guys, since 2 days, I'm now the owner of MSFS. Since then, I'm also struggeling to download this game. The first 90 GB were no problem, I downloaded them while I was not home. I got launched in the game and set up my graphics settings. Then, I restarted the sim to make sure these are applied. When I was at the point of "Checking updates",the installation manager told me I had to download antoher 50GB. That was very annoying, but I tried to let him download it in the night. What do you all think of these settings? I'm running an HP Omen Obelisk, 32 GB RAM, i7-8700, Nvidia RTX 2070 8GB. I'm getting around 40-50 fps with these. Just wondering if I'm overlooking anything or should tweak? Thanks!

Just want to run this by anyone using ATC with SU11 Beta... I press the scroll key to actuate the ATC menu. I can use the keyboard to choose the menu options, but unable to use the mouse to choose any of the menu options. Anyone know why when I flying the drone camera away from my plane the frames will drop big time even to the single digits, but the sim is still fairly smooth.

Hello folks, I mainly fly in the middle east around OEJN and OMDB, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Dubai, UAE iv come to realize how terrible the building rendering there is, and lets get a few things straight before recommending any help. Does anybody know what the device is at the post between the glareshield and lateral window in the A320 cockpit. On this device is a controllable knob and below that knob is an on/off switch. I cannot find a description of this device in the documentation and manuals on the A320. Thanks for shining some light on this matter.
