Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Resolution 1600 x 900. 1050 graphics card. He's getting 40 fps plus. The display presets (easy, medium, hard) are not well translated from the Italian. Probably high end, medium, low ? -------------

I have been using msfs 2020 since its launch. On and off have issues with sim either after sim update or load failures but that could be resolved with suggestions received from forums/ms support team. Present issue is quite different from earlier ones. I have updated msfs 2020 to sim update 10 via store as mine is store version. Thereafter only CTD on either loading or updating happens. After performance allocation, uninstalling msfs and reinstalling and again format drive with other format tools easeus etc, I could install and start the loading screen successfully. Hi All. Just done a reinstall of MSFS and put it on a separate drive. I asked the installer to install to My E drive but it's put most of the flightsim on my C drive. I have no idea why. I now have two community folders one on each drive, goodness knows why. I checked in Developer options in the sim where the correct community folder was. It tells me that the Folder on my E drive is the one being used. I downloaded and extracted (to my E drive community folder) some liveries from FlightSim To and followed their instructions to the letter. ..........no joy. Still learning a lot of things especially in the approaches. But when i want to fly a short test flight, around a certain airport, A to A basically. How do i program the MCDU/FMC? With the "first" batch of the airliners being released (JustFlight BAE 146, Leonardo Maddog MD82, PMDG 737-700 and Fenix A320) why not try to speculate which airliners can be released by the end of 2022? In my opinion we can see the following (in no particular order): iniBuilds A310 (in my opinion this will be next major release, beginning of Q3 2022) Asobo ATR 42/72 (shouldn't be released in Q2/Q3 2022 based on announcement made back in 2021?) After a recent FBW update, the FBW A320 is missing in the sim. I can select the aircraft from the selection menu, but I cannot see the aircraft in the sim - no cockpit, no instruments, no airplane - just the scenery. I uninstalled the aircraft using the FBW app and then reinstalled, but no joy. I am using the Dev version. Any ideas on what the issue might be and how to rectify? Any help appreciated. I am using GeForce Experience to capture screenshots in MSFS 2020. I would like to map the GeForce Experience Alt +F1 key combination to a yoke button but cannot determine how to do so. Does anyone know if this is possible? I've done about an hour of web searches and watching videos on setting up controllers, but nothing I have found shows or tells how to map an external key combo to a yoke button in the sim.

Hello everybody, Few days ago I downloaded SU10 and it worked fine. No improvements though, but fine. A few days later I started msfs and it checked for updates and there was a minor update again. About 500 mb or so. And now when I set up a flight it loads everything, you see the overview and have to press " ready to fly". But then the sim freezes and nothing happens and escape doesn't work. I have to end msfs via task manager. Anybody have the same? Can the update be undone ? Thnx

Hi, can anyone help me figure this out? This morning when I tried to install the traffic add-on I keep getting errors, here's a screenshot of one of the errors. I have the MS Store version, up to date, as well as Win 10 up to date. On their web site they don't have a forum, they can only be contacted via Facebook, Twitter, Twitch, or Discord. Just curious. Are they purposely trying to slow down our computers? I'm trying to wrap my head around why they would add people (sometimes moving around) inside an airport terminal in MSFS. How many of you have actually got out of your aircraft an gone inside to see what's going on. I just think the resources could be better spent making the simulator work more smoothly. I remember a long long time ago a I was getting such a kick out of taxiing a 747 around an airport when a friend of mine says to me "It's a FLIGHT simulator, not a TAXI simulator". Everything had been working beautiful for several weeks now. Flights were perfect, sim was stable and smooth. Something had to give. First issue. I setup a KDEN to KLAS flight in the 737 last night. Everything worked great during pre flight and GSX services. I get pushed back, get taxi clearance, and start to roll. As I come up on the an intersection, I click the hot key I assigned to toggle taxi ribbon, and no ribbon appears. I check the key binding and it is fine. I changed it to a different key. I have a number of payware and freeware airports that do not show as starred on the world map. Is there a file that I can modify to ensure that they do? Thanks for any reply.

Not sure if it's been reported. After MSFS SU10 update, the NAV/GPS button of the C172 (above VOR1) won't toggle the status of NAV and GPS on the VORs as well as on the GNS530/430. In order to change the status of NAV and GPS on the VORs, one has to press the CDI buttons on the GNS530 and 430 respectively. The issue seems valid on the C172 only. Tested other aircraft (either default or payware) and they don't have such issue.

Hi all, about to do a fresh Windows install on a new drive in my PC. Currently using the Steam version of MSFS and it's installed on a secondary drive. The new Windows drive is a large gen 4 NVME that will have room for MSFS as well so I'm planning to have Steam install it there (not sure if I'll put the main Steam library there as well or create a second one). I have backed up all the controller profiles I found in the Steam Userdata folder for MSFS, but I'm not sure about a few things. Such as does backing those up even work or does MSFS actually store them itself on the Xbox servers? Also on the subject of controllers can I assume that if the controller profiles a…

For a few weeks now every time I start MSFS, even before selecting departure airport, I get a request which is exactly the same each time "Freehandlyric3 wants to be your friend". Thais has only started recently and occurs every time. Is there a method to stop this annoying popup? Thanks
