Often but not every time, it hangs on return to main menu. The blue bar on the bottom moves slowly to the right and then it hangs toward the end. I have to use the task manager to close it. What gives? Gnacino

So since the updates that Asobo has made I am really liking the new flight model. I actually feel like I'm floating in the air and balance feels much more important. I hopped into the Carenado Seminole to see how that was flying (I haven't flown this in a while) hoping it would also show improvement in the air. However, nothing seems to have changed and after experiencing the enhancements made by Asobo, it is rather disappointing to fly. Anyone know if older add-ons need to be updated to take advantage of the new flight model enhancements or is this only going to be seen in the default planes and premium add-ons such as the Milviz C310? I decided to give the AMD FSR AA option a try. My VRAM usage at EGLL went to 11.757 with AMD FSR Quality compared to TAA which used 8.683. I thought FSR and DLSS rendered the screen at a lower resolution then what is set and then upscaled it to desired resolution. I also figured and perhaps I am wrong that this would result in lower VRAM usage. Performance used the same amount of VRAM but caused flickering. TAA (4K TLOD 400): AMD FSR Quality:

If I recall, and I have been flight simming since FS 98, the main objective of flight simming was to have a smooth flight experience. I am sure even with my settings I could get 60 frames in a nice quite area (10700k, 3080). Big deal, bravo, but instead I have my frames locked at 30 and a smooth experience, which makes me quite satisified, yes like most of us,every once in a while will get a stutter, in a highly dense area. So I'm pretty much sold on FSLTL as my airliner AI app. Question is, what about something equivalent for GA AI? Seems all the GA AI addons I've come across need to run in offline mode which is not too good for FSLTL. I don't mine turning of FSLTL and running offline if I'm at a nice GA airport out in the woods. What I would like is some AI GA flying around when I do. I've tired a lot of combinations - had some 50 GA aircraft at Gillespie Field Field in Sand Diego but after 20 minutes not a single takeoff or landing (I know, I was timing it). So what are others out there doing? Can I have my cake and eat it too?

Hi all, I dont know what else I can do, I did follow these 2 videos exactly to a tee.. I did backup the config file before the modifications just in case...well I went back to the config file I had before the modifications since my MSFS keeps hanging on me when loading the pmdg 737. The bar almost gets to the end, but I have waited 30 min and it just stays there. When I go to task man FS does indicate not responding. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this. Everything was working great before following these videos...I have also used Display driver uninstaller again and just installed the latest NVidia drivers again without using NVCeanstal. I think in the next 6 months, Asobo will iron out a lot of the more annoying bugs and there will probably be an optimization patch or two with it. AMD and NVidia will also have a chance to release additional driver updates that may optimize the game further. Bing Maps will also get better data over the next 3 years so the places we fly over will be more accurate. But most importantly, 3rd parties will have a wealth of planes and sceneries in 3 years time, and the community will also release a bunch of great stuff as well (ie. liveries are starting to be released by the community). I was looking through my settings and noticed that rolling cache was off. Is there a benefit of turning it on? I guess i never realized it was off but at the same time, not sure what I would gain by switching it on. Thanks!

This has been really weird. A week ago or so I did a total new install of Win 10, then MSFS in total w/ all WUs. I started new w/ a virgin Community Folder, and installed my few addons (PMDG 738, AS CRJ-700, PACX, A Pilot's Life. After all was done rebooted etc and a few settings modified, I was restored to pretty much perfect performance, for several days. Last eve and this morning I'm getting these recurrent hard pauses and I'm not finding a way to ascertain where they come from. So, been reading a bunch this weekend and watching some videos on it. Still confused by one aspect of @Lorby_SI AAO program. So, I have a StreamDeck XL and will be getting @guenseli profiles for it as I also have a VRinsight MCP2 and will use the AAO Bridge for that. What I am confused on (and I'm new at these programs so forgive me if this is dumb question), when I set up my Thrustmaster HOTAS Warthog joystick/throttle and my MFG rudders / toe brakes through AAO, I know I have to do it for each aircraft if I want to customize the buttons and axis for the throttles and joystick of that particular aircraft. I saw a YT video in which the host used the PMS GTN 750 autopilot features with the C195. How could he get past the MSFS encryption of a "Local Legend" aircraft to enable the autopilot? I believe the aircraft.cfg and system.cfg are encrypted, no?

I have just completed my CPU/Motherboard/RAM upgrades and have a fresh version of Windows 11 installed. When I open the XBox App it shows MSFS, MSFS Premium Deluxe and Premium Deluxe GOTY Version. Which one do I install? I would have thought the Premium Deluxe GOTY version but I am not sure Thanks
