Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020/2024)

Not sure if something in the last update caused this, but usually you get 3-4 seconds after you mouseover a switch, button, etc to make the actual selection. But 3-4 times during the flight, when I need to use the mouse, the mouseover cuts out almost immediately and I cant select anything. It's a USB mouse. I've done all the usual stuff(unplug/plug mouse, reboot computer, made sure I'm in Legacy mode). Hope I've properly described the issue and thanks for the replies in advance.

I have noticed since the game came out back in 2020 but just thought to ask about it now. If I am at cruise in just about any aircraft with the garmin, (think SR22, DA40, TBM930, etc.) I notice that the RPM always flashes red, even if I lower the throttle to a point where I am losing airspeed. Is there something else I should be doing?

Dears, I switched from P3D to MSFS now. I have 2 questions: I have converted model from AIG OCI, some repaints missing. I can use P3D repaints for that models, in which format they have to be saved, I try DDS DXT1 with one bit Alpha, it seems to work, but the sim crashed sometimes. I have seen formats like TFS_B773_ANTENNA.PNG.DDS, which Plugin e.g. for Photoshop saves textures in that way and generate the needed JSON file e.g. TFS_B773_ANTENNA.PNG.DDS.JSON too? Other question ist regarding soundsets for aircraft. I got my P3D soundsets working in MSFS. I have seen, a lot of sounds is 22050 Hz and not 44.100 Hz, as in P3D. Do I have to convert from 441…

Hello everyone Now I am pretty sure this can be done but for the life of me I can't remember how to do it I own the disk version of MS2020 and obviously installed it from the disks and then, at the end, was asked to enter the code ... Everything worked fine ... Having reformatted my SSD I would like to re-install MS2020 but I would rather download it direct from my Microsoft Store account instead of feeding in 10 disks and then being confronted with a message saying 'this code has already been used' and terminating itself. I have looked for the download version within my Store account but I can't find it therefore, can anyone point me in the right dir…

PMDG has just posted update 3.0.70 for the 737 series, available via PMDG Ops Center v2. No changelog available so far.

I now have company at the Asobo B747, since today, a pilot and a copilot are seated at the cockpit. I dont have any assistance option enabled, nor other B747 related mods, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the aircraft, but no way, my new crew is present.- The situation is new to me, as after the last update, the Asobo B747 worked very well , without no crew at all, up to today,.How can I get rid of that guys ? Because I'm lazy is there some files I can copy across to the new PC to save setting all this up again per aircraft? Same goes for my keyboard binds, hardware sensitivity settings? EDIT: Ok appears camera.cfg lives inside the /simobjects/airplanes folder under \Packages\Community or Official. I've made a backup of both these folders and will be copying them to the new PC via external drive so the camera views are sorted. Can't locate the file where my settings are stored....I'm looking. Wonder if someone would post a link to it. Just got my computer back with a fresh Win10 install and it is not there….and for whatever reason I can’t find it. Need to redownload msfs2020. thanks.

I purchased the Feelthere KLGA and now it is laying on top of the existing stock KLGA that comes with msfs. I know that you can turn off the bespoke airports but not sure how to turn off a non bespoke airport? Hey, Just wanted some input, hear if anyone had experienced the same at some point and found a solution. 3 times now, completely out of nowhere when flying the Fenix, it would suddenly slow down to around 210 during cruise, AP would turn off due to the speed and I had no thrust control at all, not with A/THR either, despite the engines running fine. Then I realized, when this event happens, my FOB has jumped up to 18400kg and that is the reason, weight goes off the carts. So I can descend down to FL320 and speed will pick back up. It would be wonderful to be able to have a trafficboard, like it was in fsx and prepar3d, for msfs. Being able to see in it the flights in real time: arrivals and departures. And see, among them, ours in process. I do not think that it is that hard. There was a guy who did it for MSFS, taking Flightradar24 into account and inserting the users plane... but I lost track of him, or nothing has been heard from him anymore. His idea was very good. Hello, Wondering if anyone has any issues with PMDG 737-800 when it come to Failures?? Well, I Still have. Despite MSFS updates & PMDG update. Also, I have un-installed MSFS 2020 and re-installed it and also un-installed PMDG 737-800 and re-installed it. This is the second time I've seen this. Once near TPA and this time near JFK.

I have strange squares on my TNCM scenery. It is the MSFS default with the 40th anniversary update installed, nothing else. What could be the culprit here? Any ideas? This renders the airport useless... In contrast to the classic DX12 ground tile issue, this does not disappear using debug modes in the Dev mode, also not when moving around the drone camera or taxiing above it with a plane.

All, has anyone had trouble with aau2 and Kuro mods for the 787’s. I cannot get MFD’s and CDU’s to start up on the -10 and on the -8 none of the screens start. I do not have any other mods installed for these aircraft. I have power to the aircraft via the apu, however using ext power is the same. I have deleted and reinstalled both and tested the -10 without the -8 installed with same results. any suggestions are appreciated. thanks Phill Dant

I get generic textures replacing the real satellite ones locally in Bing maps. I can see them already in the World map when zooming sufficiently in and then of course when flying (e.g. on several locations in the Czech republic, e.g. close to LKVR). It doesn't happen at many locations, just rarely, but when it does...it is pretty disturbing. It has nothing to do with my rolling cache settings. It's there with the cache on, cache reset or cache completely off. I am convinced it is done either by hand or by AI already during pre-processing the maps for use by MSFS. Has anybody done Cockpit Sharing with apps like Your Controls? I think it only supports MSFS 2020 stock aircraft. MS Game Pass support was logged on to my system via their remote app. He did some updates to GamePass and I launched MSFS 2020 and he was able to view my flight in real time. No lag. Thanks!
