I noticed that the tall antenna farm in Dayton, OH is entirely missing in MSFS. It is over 1000' high, and is the single most flight hazard in this area. Anyone else missing towers?

Anyone else finding the C152 P leads seem faulty and are not shorting the relevant mag? Switching to Mag L or Mag R for me produces no rpm drop.

I currently have the go flight radio panel, MCP and landing gear modules, has anyone figured out a way to get these to work in the new SIM? I'm not sure if the go flight interface program tool from polypot software is going to be updated anytime soon. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Guys. Sorry if there is already a post on this. I did see a post in the MS forum. But I didn't find a solution. Ever since the last update I noticed my scenery looks much blurrier. Even on ultra settings. I attempted to go back to medium and apply and then back to ultra. But it doesn't appear to do anything. I'm the first to admit that MSFS is not my primary sim. So I haven't used it much. But I was pretty surprised to open it again after the updates and see it lower quality now. Any ideas? thanks.

After many trials, tribulations and reinstalls it is now clear that the basic problem is that the fresh install download stops at a bit over one GB. I've tried using both Microsoft Store and the XBox app. In the XBox App, the download shows 152 GB at first. But it always completes at about 1 GB. I've tried both wireless and Ethernet. Windows 1909 is up to date. I've made sure all MSFS related files are removed after each uninstall. I cannot install on C drive (since it has FSX on it, among other things), so I try to install on D (which has plenty of room). I succeeded with the initial installation and previous update. Hi, I am still unable to buy anything from the Marketplace...constant payment failures (even though Microsoft Store is still processing other things outside of MSFS fine). Tried running through XBox app, keeping MS Store logged in, all totally up to date, no problems with a conflict in countries...just fails everytime, straight away. I can buy and install free addons. Tried the Zendesk but unfortunately they're more than zen, they're practically asleep and they were no hope. Can anyone help?? Thanks Ben

Hi, just did a nice flight from Vegas to Sedona in the Kingair and all perfect except one thing I realized also in earlier flights but before I file a bug with Zendesk I want to make sure that it's not my fault since I am not familiar with the Kingair's AP behaviour. So I fly towards my pattern entry with AP ALT and NAV/HDG enabled. Once reaching the last waypoint I "just" took over the plane without expressly disconnecting the AP in my uneducated assumption that the AP would disconnect automatically. Hi guys I could swear after the wind bug got fixed which I think was 2 patches ago the representation of Live Weather in comparison to local METAR got a lot better. Maybe I was lucky because it seems now, in particular this evening the Live Weather has no bearing on Metar at all! In fact it seems to be thundering and lighting everywhere I go and clouds are just way off. I think the constant thunder is a new bug but look at this, on approach to ENGM local Metar was CAVOK This is what I saw in the sim after flying through all the clouds lol

Before I pull more hair out trying to get this to work, is it just not modelled yet in the default Garmin 530 to be able to punch in an airport and have it fly direct to? I’m flying the non G1000 C172. I can press the direct to button, enter the airport I want, press enter, but the course never shows up on my GPS. Not modelled or a user error on my part? thanks Edit: never mind, user error, I needed to move the cursor down to activate then press enter. As usual, I figure it out as soon as I post about it lol.

BBS have patched their Bird Dog to address a lot of the complaints about it. I had to reinstall MS 2020 premium deluxe software. After start up the jets and turbo props were missing. How do I get those aircraft installed without having to do a complete re install again.

I'm curious if anyone has bought this and tried it out? How does it compare to the one in MFS? Better or worse?

Is it just me or are there loads of closed airports in the sim that are shown as actual live airports in MSFS? I'm at the start of a round the world tour in the C172 and having started in the UK and so far got to Kuwait in a round about way via Norway and Sweden I seem to be landing at numerous airports that closed some time ago. I also just took a break from the the tour to try OnAir and I selected a flight from Southampton (EGHI) to Filton (EGTG). Filton closed eight years ago! So where do MSFS get their airport data from if they've included airports that haven't existed for 8 years? Just think it's a bit odd really as it doesn't appear to just be a few but loa…

Probably like many, I have a list of things that appear to be broken and I'm not sure if these are pertienent to my install, or whether they are known issues which others are experiencing too. I have looked around, but can't see much about this, but is anyone experiencing severe stuttering when/if changing weather/clouds during a flight?

As opposed to a bug complaint box? My biggest want is like when you Right Alt on the pair of G1000 displays to make an enlarged copy, and then drag it to another monitor, the row of buttons underneath are not there too. So you have a nice large display that you cannot do anything with except look at it. That row of triangle marked control buttons attached underneath is surely another 'gauge', but it can't be copied, enlarged, and dragged away like you can the display screen.

I recently came across a nifty little mod (Sim Rate Bandit) for increasing the sim rate, during those long haul flights. However, I have discovered that although it does speed up the sim rate as well as 'time', as can be observed by looking at the clock in the a/c moving faster, at the end of the flight what is logged in the logbook is the 'real life' time it took to do the flight. So for instance, on a 4 hour flight, if you use Sim Rate Bandit which gives x4 rate, what is logged is only 1 hour. Has anyone else noticed this? I am sure this is not how it was in FSX.

We have now hundreds of (free) addons and almost each of them is updated on a regular basis. This is really hard for us to keep track and to go check every addon webpage to see if it has been updated or not. Currently I am using a system where I create folders and subfolders in my web browser but this is not sustainable with the growing number of addons. Also if this data is deleted from my web browser I will likely lose all these shortcuts. The idea would be to use AVSIM as a solid base for that. We can imagine a subforum like the"VR" or"tips and tricks" subforum" but for addons development, freeware and payware. This subforum could have subcategorie…

Obviously, this new Robert Young (RealAir fame) G36 Bonanza Turbo is already the number one GA plane in our new sim. This total redo also works with the ongoing G1000 mods, and soon with the Lighting Mods. Additional repaints are being finalized as we speak and that leaves the question - where are the Animation Mods? What? Where? Well, sorry I am just asking the question. Hello, Today I have tried 10 times a flight from EDDF to EBBR with and without the 0.31 A32NX mod. The flightplan is take-off from EDDF 25C. Destination EBBR ILS 25L-Z (see below for flightplan arrival at EBBR. It seems the capture of the glideslope is perfect and keeps it correct. The capture of the LOC seems good but slowly it's drifting off resulting in landing far next to the runway. All I want to know if it's me or a BUG in the latest version 1.9.x I hope someone can do this flight and let me know if they have the same issue or .....
