This is the improvement project for the MSFS default G36. It all started as a simple edit of some configuration files but it has since grown into a fully-fledged modification that improves all aspects of the default G36 and introduces new features. Its misty low ceiling rain in Houston, but all i get is clear weather, even trying the workaround. Is live weather closed for new years celebrations ??

Since the center row of switches (between gear lever and flap switch) are all duplicated on the HC Alpha Yoke and are easy to read, then is it possible to reassign the Bravo switches to something like "inside-outside view" or "Parking Brake"? If this is possible, then how to do it ?? Thanks in advance

Ever since I started using the release version of MSFS , I have been unable to get the autopilot working consistently. Sometimes it would work fine, and other times it would try to kill me... (I was an Alpha tester, and the AP worked pretty well in the Alphas) (Well, by comparison...) Well, today I finally found out what my problem was! I have been using the Simionic MFD and PFD on two old ipads so I could fly with just an outside view, or at least as much as the MSFS camera system will allow. Hi! Encounter some strange "light glitches" in the air over LOWI after takeoff. Never before seen this kind off street- and house lights in the air at some other airport. Guess it's a bug? or maybe a default grafic driver? Currently I have the Nvidia 27.21.14.5751 driver. These lights never disappear and was stil there during my landing at LOWI after a tour round the moutains.

I just installed MSFS and have it working pretty well. I use a Rift CV1 and a DOFReality H3 motion platform. I have noticed there is no vehicle traffic even though I have the vehicle traffic set at 100%. Have I missed a setting somewhere or is there an issue with vehicle traffic? I have been flying out of KOZW and around An Arbor and Detroit. Thanks for your input. Danny

Does anybody have any experience with this? The recent advice on the Internet has been to keep it off because if causes problems (stutters, etc) in some games. But I'm not sure what the current status is of "game mode" on Windows 10. It's a cool idea (reducing background tasks and such) but I've never really seen a positive review of it. Does anybody run with this on and have you had it on in MSFS 2020? What has your experience been with it? My primary interest in game mode is the built-in FPS counter but there are plenty of other ways to do that so if game mode is questionable then I'll probably just opt for something else.

Does scenery from older versions of MSFS work in 2020?

When completing the flight with the defined arrival field, when the engine is shut down, the log appears, which is an immersion killer for me (I still have some steps in my paper-based shutdown checklist). Any way to disable this automatic log appearance?

Is there a way to show the top of descent point in the G3000, I'm currently using the latest WT mod.

Anyone else having troubles with the servers in MSFS? Can’t get online

There is an issue where a lot of freeware and even some payware have a conflict where they overwrite the scenery\global\scenery\modelLib.BGL of other addon scenery. The way MSFS works is only the first scenery alphabetically will be loaded and every other modelLib.BGL will be ignored. One solution to this is only load one scenery at any given time using the addon linker but this is impractical if you are flying between two airports that conflict. An alternate work around that seems to work for me is to do the following: 1. Locate the airfields that conflict. If you use addons linker just "check addons". 2. go into the folder for each ad…

So, I recently installed FS2020. It's running great so far, but two things really annoy me. 1. Whenever I pause a flight, several flight instruments are still active. So that means that I risk a huge nose-up or nose-dive when I start the game again if I am not 100 % level prior to hitting the pause key. I also noticed that the in-game clock keeps on ticking when I pause. When I click 'pause', however, it is precisely because I want to game to come to a pause. Not to just freeze my airplane mid-air while everything else runs. 2. Somtimes I will not have the time to finish a flight in one go (especially long-hauls). Some people tend to forget this is a game/sim and not reality. They over exaggerate flaws that this and other sims currently can't over come. But keep complaining I'm still enjoying FSX and it's flaws but I spend more time in the air than on the internet complaining about nonsense not concurrent to reality. Cheers to 2021

Not sure what I did wrong, or what is wrong, but the WT G3000 mod used with the Longitude isn't showing the approach on the MFD. The plane flies the approach without a problem, but it's not showing. It does show on the VFR map. Am I missing something here? The route was generated via Navigraph.

I use WT 0.8.3 mod and it works very well but I found an odd problem. I can't move those Throttle via my CH Products Flight Sm Yoke or mouse. I can fly and Throttle respond the movement of the Yoke but I can't see those movement onto Pedestall. Speedbrake move with mouse without problem. Into Controls Panell all seem to be ok. Sorry - this is a little hard to explain but I hope that somebody understand about what I mean.

Hey guys and gals. I've been loving the sim. I don't fly the default A320 as to be frank.... it's a mess. So with the flyby wire I've been enjoying a great simulation experience. Now for my question. I'd like to get into flying further afield with the 787 and the 747. What are those airliners like as of right now? Will I be able to fly for my VA without MAJOR bugs? I'd hate to have it set up only to mess up halfway through a really long flight. Also, dose anyone know why its taking so long for third party developers to produce the study level aircraft? I mean, I know I paid the full price for the premium deluxe and I know I should expect some level of study level …

This was my third landing on the new Carrier using HARD DECK SIMULATIONS Carrier for FS2020. Pretty nice really and I am sure it will mature well as sim gets better. You can it at the simmarket. I found no way to turn off crashes in the sim as they say you need to do, at least not in the modern setting. But that seemed not to make a difference. Installed easily and worked exactly as indicated in the short instructions in the additional program you run to make it work. This is serious fun and pretty hard. I have flown carrier ops in X-plane and this is very similar. Using the Piagio 149 may be cheating a bit, but some use the 152 even …

Hi! I installed the new FS2020 (new Win10 64 bit). However, SAITEK PRO FLIGHT THROTTLE QUADRANT does not work properly under Win10. I installed the latest driver (calibrated) but it doesn't display properly in the simulator. In the control settings, the "X" and "Y" axes are incorrect: 0-100% pushed only moves to 0-50% and then jumps to 100%. I've tried several things already, but unfortunately it doesn't work.
