Not sure this is the best place for this topic? Anyway, I'm trying the demo out and for the most part, this is impressive software but I've seen several glitches. Does anyone know ..... How to increase head tracking sensitivity? Switching views ends up making the screen go black. Have to restart the whole sim to fix. Ideas? How to capture an actual size screenshot of what is being drawn in the HMD? Steam F12 doesn't work, FSX's V and Mixed Reality Portal snapshot doesn't capture the true resolution. Use Accu-Feel? Even if it works, something tells me the jostling wouldn't be enjoyable? How to prevent the Undocked Windows from going …

I don't seem to be having any luck with virtual reality. Still unable to get Riftcat and Vridge to connect. Flyinside is something I haven't tried. Various models of Oculus are a bit confusing. So my question is: What should I get for P3Dv4.5 flying? My pc is reasonably fast with nVidia 1080ti, 16 GB memory, CPU oc to 4.3GHz, and average FPS about 60. Regards to all Neal H

I'm still on the fence about the Reverb, mostly because i've become so fond of the Oculus software, which just works. At the same time i have gotten wary of Steam vr...... (Not the games: The software) Still, the Reverb does seem to get nice reviews from users who have made the jump. Hmmmmmmmmm. Meanwhile, another video from VR flight sim guy

Hi. I just need a bit of an update on the situation here. I recently updated P3Dv4.2 to v4.5 in order to remove a bug where the scenario wouldn't save correctly. P3D now works, but I now have a problem with the VRS Superbug and TacPack which don't like to play friendly. Can someone tell me if there is an upgrade for these as it might save a lot of time trolling the internet for answers. Thanks in advance, Ron.

Hopefully this will be everything you needed to know about Virtual Reality in P3D V4 at present. Note, The below is based on my experience on a Oculus Rift. I won't bother listing my PC spec as it makes no difference because VR performance in v4 seems identical to VR in v3.4 (see performance below) ** New *** Update at Bottom from Lockheed Martin - 2 June 2017. Also reworded a few items that were unclear. Quick Q & A's Q) Can you now click on everything in the VR Cockpit view? A) Yes, you can. As far as I can tell everything is clickible in VR now (however see below) Q) Are there issues with when clicking on the cockpit items…

I'm currently on Oculus importing the whole desktop as a window into P3D VR with almost no GPU overhead. It is great. But I'm thinking of buying a SteamVR headset soon.... Is anyone having any luck and good performance bringing the desktop into P3D VR using SteamVR software? Thanks in advance.

I normally start oculus VR via p3D menu and all the aircraft works fine, but when I use the new NGXu my tracking is fixed so I mean that the cockpit is fixed in the same way my headset are orientated. Is it a possible option that I didn't check?

After a year's absence I decided to try VR again. The phone is compatible, downloaded Vridge to it, installed RiftCat (paid version) in PC. All the tutorial steps followed, double-checked tether, etc. Both Riftcat and Vridge search for connection but never do.\ I have Googled until my fingers ache but no mention found re. this problem. Can someone get this thing to work? Many thanks in advance Neal H

A little app in Steam that works with WMR headsets like the Samsung Odyssey, HTC Vive, and the Pimax. Unfortunately not the Oculus! Using this app you can monitor your VR performance in real time, see where there are slowdowns, and and adjust your settings accordingly to perfectly fit your hardware capabilities. I think it's very handy! https://store.steampowered.com/app/908520/fpsVR/

So, this came out of nowhere, and so far is getting not much play in the western press yet, though it seems like something to keep an eye out for if only for its promise of much much less cumbersome VR implementations in the future. https://www.gizchina.com/2019/12/15/huawei-vr-glass-light-foldable-vr-headset/?fbclid=IwAR3UHsRpwt9L9UcfwYXORd6FRZuLPQV8quCpE3sRc-R0VtTFk8HlYnWwLcU

Hello. I´m experiencing a major loss of sharpness since the update from P3D v4.4 to v4.5 using my Oculus Rift. In v4.4 everything was "acceptable" regarding sharpness, at least with Oculus Tray Tool and supersampling set to 1.8. With the same settings, the picture in v4.5 lacks sharpness, is blurred and soft. The VR experience is smoother in v4.5, but less satisfying regarding sharpness. Any suggestions on this issue? Best regards, Toto

Hi all, At the moment i have been happy using an ASUS GTX780 GTX 6GB VRAM (STRIX) card (my system is Abit P6T Deluxe V2 motherboard, i7 980X 6-core CPU,18 GB DDR3 RAM) and Oculus Rift CV1 However, i cannot use X-plane 11 VR (enable VR hardware opion is greyed out) and this is most likely due to the Gfx card not being on the list of accepted cards. I am perfectly able to fly in Steam FSX with dozens of add-ons, AeroflyFS2 or DCS. I am planning to wait until it becomes clear exactly what will be needed for flying VR with MSFS2020 so that could take at least a year if not longer .... if it comes (but it would be absurd if it didn't) and only then buy or build …

Hi All, I've just given up on flyinside as it's support for P3D has been less and less of late. The NGXU is almost unusable in its current state, lots of nasty flickering textures and bad performance. The native VR, coupled with Chaseplane is fantastic and works well, but I'm struggling to figure out how to bring things like Navigraph charts into the VR world with me. I found oculus desktop, and thats ok but it really breaks the immersion to have to go to a desktop mode each time I want to bring up a different chart or look at a different map. Does anyone know how to interact with oculus desktop windows without having to revert to desktop mode? Thanks.…

The interaction with P3D it's quite difficult and after tested Flyinside for FSX, I believe it's necessary, to enjoy VR at the maximum. Reading on Flyinside forum there are some bug with aircraft's and wondering if it's working or not? I know there is a trial for P3D but prefer to get some info from experienced people that tested! Thank's
