Hey Dave, Found another wonky flight plan bug. Flight was KDEN to KDTW. WYNDM HCT OBH J100 DBQ BAE is the flight plan. When I went to add airway J100 to the plan, I was able to select it and the transition but it created about 50 additional waypoints that zig zagged all over the US like the previous error you fixed out of KMCO. My first official use of the Airway adding system was a failure. T_T Sad Panda. I took a screen cap if you need to see it but I am late for work! Cheers!

I can't seem to choose a waypoiint in the flightplan. I can only choose the destination arprt.If I keep trying to highlight a waypoint the software crashes.This happened already many beta versions ago.

Today I tried 2.2.1.1 from Camarillo KCMA to Henderson Executive KHND. All went well until trasfered to approach. I noticed the map went blank and atc stop talking. I continued on my own and after landing ATC resuscitated and started shooting nonstop instruction from were it left off. I have encountered this issue in previous versions as well. Not sure if the map stopped in the previous occasions because I ussually minimize the map or P2A. Is P2A hanging because it is waitting for the map provider to update? Can we have the option to just stop the map? I never use the map at all. Does P2A need the map to function? I am running P2A on a remote PC where it i…

So I loaded up the new 2.2.1.0 and for the most part all works well. The only strange thing that started with this version is it will intermittently shut itself off, as if I closed out of it on purpose. At first I thought I had inadvertently done so but this has happened around 4 or 5 times now. No errors or warnings it just shuts off. Seems to happen at any phase of flight. I checked and there doesn't seem to be any log files generator for the issue either.

Here's a crash log from a recent flight. The log and flight plan are at the top. I think it happened because I validated but did not file the plan. I was able to resume and continue the flight. I tried to do a flight today from LFPG-EDDH. Everything was fine until I got to the runway threshold. When I contacted tower to request take off, it responded with my clearance as if I contacted clearance delivery. This is one I haven't run into before. I was never able to get clearance to take off.

Hi, I know this is probably out of your control, but this remains one of the most frustrating issues of the app (i'm on the latest 2.2.1.0). The map control crashes a lot, and mostly when i'm like 5-10 minutes away from landing. So my entire flight gets screwed up in the last few minutes cuz something in the map crashes, and a big red X is all that remains in the map area of the screen. If i continue, the ATC part of the app mostly seems to continue to function at least, so i can continue the flight. Sometimes though it seems like the copilot stops responding to ATC when this happens. Not always though. Thanks, Joe

Just updated to the latest version 2.2.1 and now have a problem that when my sim (p3D v3.4) is connected every time I click on the mouse the P2ATC screen blanks and I have to click the mouse again for it to re-appear. I have two screens one for the sim and the other displaying P2ATC. If I disconnect the sim P2ATC works fine. I guess it is something obvious as no one else has reported this problem. Any suggestions help would be much appreciated.

I haven't used the program for a while because of the instability issues and have waited for it to become more stable. I tried to do my first flight today after a few months and received a crash to desktop when I asked for taxi clearance. Considering I've done plenty of flights in the past I can't imagine anything out of the ordinary that would cause this. The flight was from KSAN to KSFO using the next route SLI J134 LAX J1 OAK J110 SNS V111 BSR. The SID P2A assigned me was LNSAY5. Not a biggie, but when I take off with flight following I get a bunch of traffic reports about AI a/c that are still on the ground. It's a bit distracting, but great that we get traffic reports, anyway. It adds a lot!

This is the 2nd time I got an exception when exiting runway 28R at KSFO and reporting clear of runway. I said <tower><Viper 6626>is clear of active I immediately got an exception. The program is doing the reading back and the frequency changes alone, and is that right?

Hi, I tried to do a couple of flights yesterday with P3D Atlanta to Miami. Clearance delivery and ground control worked fine. However, when I switched to tower, clearance was requested but there was no response. This happened twice. Is there any way I can resolve this? Thanks. Michael Crichlow

Hi, Quick question that's been bugging me. How come the pilot2atc app never gives me altimeter information? When i file a flight plan, and request clearance, taxi, takeoff i never get the altimeter setting. Also, if during in flight, I use PTT and do a Say Altimeter, it tells me altimeter information is not available. In case this matters, i have the pilot2atc provides atis information checkbox unchecked. Not sure if that matters though as it gives me pretty much everything else i need in the clearance. After landing, parking, and shut down, i.e. avionics and master bat switches off, I can still hear ATC chatter files and if I select ATIS with P2A suppying ATIS I get weather. With the radios off I don't think I should hear anything. Kind of a nit bug. Mark

Seems to be a bug when filing a flight plan. Flight plan can be created, with desired approach. Plan validates OK. However, when trying to file .. approach way points are deleted and only the Departure airport and destination airport are displayed.... all other waypoints deleted. (try flight from KFRG to KHPN. Alt 4000, GS 100, Desent rate 500. Approach ILS-RW34-I34, Transition:Vectors to JETE). Would send screenshots ... but don't know how to add them as an attachment. Thanks

So for long distance flights I've been using the auto 'change frequencies' and 'respond to radios' options. I noticed lately in 2.2.0.5 it seems P2A intermittently stops changing the frequencies and in turn, contacting ATC. Also, ATC intermittently tells 'itself' that it was garbled. Is this a bug for 'realism' or a feature? So far however this has been the most stable version to date! Great work!

I uninstalled my p2a awhile ago because I couldnt solve the sql problem I had .Today i tried the latest software version and I'm still getting the same error. I'm running p2a on a networked machine with widefs. I tried fixing the problem following the instructions Dave sent me a while back. I have just recently started using it with P3DV3 and when i try to submit the flight plan I get an unhandled exception as System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. I installed the trial version today 2.26.17. I have FSX Steam Edition as the only FSX app. When FSX-SE is the only sim on a machine, Steam will create its Appdata folder in (Appdata path)/FSX not FSX-SE. The install created the DLL.XML file in FSX-SE. I had a heck of a time tracking this down. Is there anything else in FSX Appdata folder that is needed by P2A that it would be looking for in FSX-SE and not finding?

Just wanna report this small bug. When you load up the plane in Cold and Dark state, Pilot2ATC stil communicates with it on Standbye frequency but not on the Active one. Also tried changing the freq in the application itself but it refused, in this case i was @ KORD and it was stuck on atis freq 135.40, also tried turning on battery and apu but didn't help either. It works fine in any other startup state.

Hi, I installed the 2.2.0.5 update (not the full install) on top of 2.2.0.4. I'm noticing a lot of random crashes in this version. I will work on collecting the screen shots of the exception dialogs. Specifically though, a couple of things i noticed that aren't crashes: - after i installed 2.2.0.5, my PTT joystick button setting got removed, and the setting went back to disabled in the config/btns dialog. - I was flying from Miami to Dallas. I have the copilot responds to atc and changes radio settings on. After the copilot changed the radio, and initiated contact with the new ATC center, the grammer text turned green, but the …
