Using 2.2.1.6 and flying from UT15 to KDLN rwy 35 RNAV approach (UNEPE transition). Route was direct to UNEPE and then following the published approach. Took off, got my clearance from Center, flying along just fine and was handed off to Center on 119.95 (KPWK Ctr) in the vicinity of Salt Lake. Switched over and called them but no response. Tried multiple times, no response to my greetings. P2A shows that it's recognizing my voice, that I'm assigned to 119.95, and that I'm tuned to 119.95. I gave it a while and tried to contact again some time later (2020 local) but my speech didn't register in P2A (though the green PTT box did illuminate). A couple minutes later I receiv…

Registered user here, now here is one I can't seem to figure out. I can't seem to get P2ATC to even read my Hardware ID. I'll enter my license...."Error" is all that shows. I even try to Start Trial...."error, please purchase a license". Anybody have this one happen before?

At KMSP - was given departure frequency 124.7 at gate. Taxi out to 22 - need to hold short 12L - when I get to 12L and hold short I did not get clearance - so I went ahead to assigned runway 22. I was then assigned departure/tower frequency of 123.67 which as best I can tell doesn't exist. I then went to 124.7 to get clearance to take off - my request is recognized but no clearance is given. Lost all interaction w/ ATC after that. Also, is there a way to pick back up ATC instructions if they are lost - for example, when I didn't get my take off clearance can I find out which frequency would have been next so I can see if I can continue - that way you can press o…

Using XP11 with latest Navigraph data. Flight plan filed from KPSP to NV74 at FL250. Departure was 31L and the CATH1 SID through PSP VOR. Went to YUCCA next then HIDEN. ATC chose rwy 33 at NV74 for my visual straight in according to the P2A interface. Everything looked fine in P2A as far as routing and altitudes. Clearance, taxi, takeoff, departure, and handoff to center were smooth. However, as I passed the TOD marker about 70 miles prior to HIDEN I didn't receive any descent instructions. P2A 2.2.1.5, XP11, latest Navigraph AIRAC. Filed NV74 BCE UT15 at FL250. Received clearance and told to call for release. When I call for release I am told that my flight plan seems to be out of date and that I need to file a new one and call back for clearance. I re-filed and had the same problem. I created a brand new flight plan in P2A and continued to have the same problem. I restarted the app and then my release worked, but my release included the instructions "climb and maintain feet" without a number of feet to climb and maintain.

Hello Dave, Somewhere during the developments we have lost the correct gaten information. I'm using P2A 2.2.1.5., P3D v3 and NavDataPro v17.06. Take as an example LFML (Marseille, FR). In the default bgl (file APX49160.bgl) the airport has 12 gates and 24 parkings, numbered 1 - 24 where some numbers are used twice for different gates (i.e. Gate_B 8 and Gate_C 8) The gates in the default bgl for LFML are: Type,Name,Number GATE_SMALL, GATE_G, 5 GATE_SMALL,GATE_G , 6 GATE_SMALL, GATE_A, 1 GATE_SMALL, GATE_A, 2 GATE_SMALL, GATE_B, 3 GATE_SMALL, GATE_B, 4 GATE_HEAVY, GATE_A, 7 GATE_MEDIUM, GATE_B, 8 GATE_MEDIUM, GATE_C, 8 GATE_…

Up on 2214 - so far so good. Really happy that Navigraph finally followed through. One issue - Chatter can tend to play over ATC. Any thoughts? Much appreciated. Love the program. Chuck

Hello, Using Pilot2ATC 2.2.1.4 on the 10 Day Trail. I update the DB via Navigraph (Manual installer) and received the following error on Pilot2ATC startup (70% Done): "Database Error Unable to initialize Database The underlying provider failed on Open. An attempt to attach an auto-named database for file C:\Pilot2ATC_200\Data\P2ADynamicData.mdf failed. A database with the same name exists, or specified file cannot be opened, or it is located on UNC share." I delete the \P2ADYNAMICDATA_LOG.LDF log file and get the same Error. Can Any Help my? ...this is probably my third post on the issue - I really love this software, but am at a point where I can't get it to work and I'm running out of options. I don't know why, but after I call for clearance and I get my assignment the voice recognition stops working. One time it was delayed by a few mins (an old issue w/ an old post) and now it just won't respond. The PTT button lights up but there is no confirmation tone. I have set it so the co-pilot is not supposed to do any of the work. I'm not a computer expert so I wonder if I have something set up wrong in my computer - why it works sometimes and not others is a mystery to me. Does anyone have any advice? Ru…

Hi, In previous versions of Pilot2ATC, I was able to add a waypoint, then from that waypoint choose an airway with an endpoint, and the airway would load normally. Now when I try to add an airway to a waypoint I get an unhandled exception error and the airway won't load. I can work around it by adding all the waypoints on the airway manually, but I'm a little confused by the loss of functionality. I tried to do a printscreen of the error, but it won't paste here. Hey Dave - hope all is well! I just upgraded after using 2.2.1.0 flawlessly for awhile to 2.2.1.2 and I'm having some issues. It seems after handing off to departure, ATC no longer replies. I was using the responds to requests/changes frequencies option at the time. Happened two times in a row now. Seems like no matter what I do I can't get it back so I just continue the flight without ATC :(. So far no crashes or errors or anything, it just stops responding.

This is from my last flight but has happened on many previous flights. Flying from KORF to KLCK. Flight Plan: HCM J24 HVQ V45 HNN Realair Duke Turbine at FL260 I am expecting the BREMN4 arrival with the HNN transition. I get this arrival and transition and told to descend accordingly. However, I'm well past HNN when I get it. So, I go direct to the next waypoint on the arrival. P2A seems happy. As I approach the end of the arrival I get cleared for the ILS runway 5R. I'm not given any transition or vectors to the runway, I receive no further descent intructions and I'm never handed off to the tower and once on the ground I'm not handed off to Ground contro…

Hi, Today after I connected P2Atc to Fsx Acc, only the "Simulator Connected" message was present, the Recognition Engine Installed and Grammars Loaded messages were missing. I relaunched P2Atc and Fsx 5 or 6 times with the same result and again the same problem after restarted Windows7 ! I checked the playback and recording devices. I did not find any problems on this side. Finally after other unsuccessful tests P2Atc decided to kindly connect. Thanks...! This is the first time I've encountered this problem. On the latest version - flew from KSLC to KDEN. Previous issues of audio delay resolved. New issue where about 10 mins into the flight the software stopped hearing me - I would push PTT...the chatter stopped...but it did not confirm my voice. I was given ATC all the way through to Denver so all of that worked - the one advantage of it not hearing me was that it didn't feel the need to correct any of my calls :).... Chuck

Had no problems for several weeks. Now P2ATC stops for 4-5 minutes after clicking autoplan, sids/stars or just filing waypoint to waypoint. Thought it was crashing at first, but just unresponsive for many minutes at a time. Is there a fix for this??

I flew my first flight with the latest version of P2A. A little trip from Vienna to London Heathrow with the FSL A320 in P3D. P2A was near perfect. The only anomaly I ran into was that approach control didn't hand me off to the tower as I came out of the STAR. Not a big deal since I was right on the ILS. Otherwise, it was a great flight.

When given a "Resume Navigation" command by P2A, the pilot response, whether by voice or SayIt, is not recognized.

Upgraded to 2.2.1.1 - crash issue has disappeared. But there are now long delays in either acceptance of my radio call or the ATC response. By long I mean up to and over one to two minutes. Then there are other times when it is spot on. Note - before I realized there was a delay I would call for clearance a few times not knowing what was going - in those cases it is reading my clearance back multiple time - the same number of times that I asked for it. So it seems to be hearing me, but processing and responding is very delayed. In the meantime I rolled back to 2.2.0.8 and it works fine. Thanks! Chuck

Hi, With this new 2.2.1.2 version i can't get any takeoff clearance from the tower. I get IFR clearance, taxi instructions to the runway, and when i get to the runway it tells me to contact the tower on the freq, which the co pilot does. I then call the tower and say ready for takeoff, and it no longer responds. Links of pictures, and the complete atc communication text below. This is with X-Plane 11 RC1. Hi, So, i was flying from KLAS to KSNA (though this has happened on a lot of different routes i fly so not specific to this one). About 3/4 of the way through the flight, the way point list window was correctly highlighting the next way point. The all of a sudden it switched to like to 2 way points down in the list, and it couldn't recover from that, and never switched back. This also caused tower ATC communication to not occur. You can see in the attached picture, I was between the EDGGR and KEFFR way points, and then the way point list just switched and started highlighting the BONKE way point as next.
