I don't know that I'd classify this as a bug. It happened in earlier versions too. When the controller hands you off and the FO dials in the next frequency, if you attempt to respond before he dials in the new frequency, you get an unhandled exception. It's really just a matter of waiting 2 or 3 seconds before responding. Just a heads up for those that may have encountered the same issue.

Hi, I've been testing the trial version (2.0.1.8) for some days and I really like it. One thing I have found is that if I tick the Use decimal instead of point box and close the program, the box is unticked the next time I start. And I mostly fly in Europe so I tick it every time I start Pilot2ATC. Is it supposed to be like that or is it a bug? Regards Christian

Hi Dave, Found a small bug in the use of the "Load Airway"-function take as an example: EGPD/16 DCT GLESK P600 FENIK L612 CALDA DCT MCT JACK1M EGLC/09 Using the function on GLESK the pop-up window shows airway P600 and its waypoints, the second time you use the function on FENIK it shows L612 with the waypoints of P600. Dave, Just downloaded and installed version 2.0.1.8 Install seemed to go normally. However when starting P2A I get to "Loading Pilot2ATC Main Screen - Please Wait" . . . Still Waiting Any suggestions? FSX Gold, Win 10 (64)

ATC says "United Niner Three Four Contact NEW YORK CENTER on One One Eight point zero ". So radio is tuned to 118.00 but is says check frequency. bewlow that is ----- not any text. Assigned freq is 118

Dave, Thanks very much for adding the virtual FO. It will be a huge help. I played around with it tonight just while I was on the ground. It worked exactly as it should. It gave readbacks and changed frequencies. When giving readbacks the FO says tilde before he start the readback. I guess his response is starting with ~ . Not a big deal.

Hi, 1/During final approach at EGSC Rw23 I had not the possibility to acknowledge (say it function) : Me : "Lancair One Victor Bravo on Final for Full Stop;" P2Atc : "State Change to: ClearedToLand Lancair One Victor Bravo Whinds are One Five Zero at Seven knots Cleared to Land Runway Two Three Radar Contact. When I right click, P2A repeats last pilot response. Both SayIt Hot key and Sayit Joystick button show as disabled and the enable box is unchecked.

Any Idea why P2A only sees a limited...apparently limited to "Desktop voices" Please advise. Chas

Using the "Say it feature" while calling for clearance the controller kept asking for my call sign. The aircraft call sign is configured properly. The program was "saying" my correct call sign and yet ATC was responding as if it wasn't. Most annoying quirk yet.

Sorry to sound like a computer newbie, but I am unable to download the beta, I constantly end up downloading an .html file, which is absolutely useless. If I open the html, I get what appears to be an older page for downloading the beta. That page also sends me to downloading another .html file I've been downloading files since 1989............

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong but I can't hear the ATIS when tuned. On the Configuration Page Under the Voices Tab I assigned all voices to respective controllers but the ATIS is not on that list. What i'm doing wrong? Thanks!!!

Hi - I've just started working with the trial version and a really like it. Best ATC out there for X-Plane hands down! I am seeing occasional exceptions (see below) when using speech recognition (PPT and talking). I'm running Windows 10 with .Net 4.0 installed and X-Plane 10.50. Hi, This happens regularly, on my PC test and knew my PC Cockpit. it is the tabbed menu trimming disappear: it only occurs when one is in the 'config' I can not detect the precise moment happens here, here seems be a true random bug. I am forced to restart pilot2 to see the menus again :wink:

First thanks to Dave for this update to fix weather. I have an issue with FS Global Weather. Into the folders- data\exchange\common There are 3 txt files: current_weather.txt current_weatherbylatlon.txt current_weathercomplete.txt but in p2tac config for search the folder in FS global weather the option is metars.txt but can´t find that file and of course all weather 00000 Thanks a lot and sorry for my english.

I noticed that if you set the ATC chatter in the program, you have to navigate to that directory where the files are stored. Then when you load a Flight plan, and click on load, it takes you to the atc chatter directory, so you have to navigate back to the documents/ P2atc flight plan directory, where the flight plans are stored. .

Version 2.0.1.5, cycle 1609, route -EDDL/23L N0452F370 MODR1T MODRU Z283 SUMAS UZ283 RITAX UT27 GTQ UN852 BALSI BALS8C LFML/31R. FL370, Plan GS 350, Descent rate 1500 FPM, TOD Dist 31.1 NM In the plan the TOD is calculated between GIRKU and BALSI on airway UN852, this is much further away then the 31.1 NM mentioned in the top of the screen. Hi Dave, I have some observations you might want to look into. They could be related to my previous report about double entries in the airways-list. Version is 2.0.1.5 and cycle is 1609. Route: ENZV rw36 RUMO1H RUMOG DCT MITSI DCT AMADA UZ705 PAM UP62 TEBRO TEBR1G EDDL rw23R 1. After entering ENZV, EDDL and the SID the next waypoint is a direct to MITSI - I can add MITSI via the map ('add to flightplan') - I can add MITSI via the Wp+-button - I cann't add MITSI via the waypoint option 'Insert After' on RUMOG. 2. On waypoint AMADA I select the airway UZ705 to PAM. The leg is added but without the in between waypoint MOKUM. It works if I first add UZ705 …

I'm unable to make P2ATC v2 show the correct frequencies for my home airport NWWW (P3D3 and X-Plane 10.45). It gives me only the tower or ATIS frq from NWWM (the domestic airport 25 NM away). Any idea ? Thanks by advance... HR

Hi Dave Using 2.0.1.5 with P3DV3.3. One little thing that seems consistent (on at least 2.0.1.4 and 5) is that I get exceptions thrown if I try entering cruise altitude or ground speed to a flight plan before adding any waypoints. Easy to work around, but I thought I'd mention it. Also, is there any way for P2A to crash X-plane? Just lately (XP 10.45 and 10.50) I've had silent CTDs for no apparent reason, half an hour to an hour into a flight. Nothing in the XP log, I don't seem to run out of memory, and P2A remains running. I'd put it down to a graphics driver or plugin problem but it only ever seems to happen when I'm running P2A. It takes so long to happen that I can't swear to this, but I haven't co…

Hi Dave, I'm on 2.0.1.5 and use cycle 16.09. When I use the "Load Airways" option on an intersection I have double entries for most of the airways but not all. i.e. make a plan EHAM PAM EDDL and ask for the airways-list on PAM. All entries are double except for UL7, UZ705, UZ738, Z738. It looks like 2 cycles are loaded. Regards, Rob
