I am porting from FSX Box to FSX Steam. I was using P2A v1 not a lot so i am still a newbee. I upgraded to P2A v2 it was working fine and is a grate upgrade I really want to learn it now. i downloaded your KDFW to KLGA video for P2A put it on one monitor and loaded P2A v2 on my main monitor and did a watch and do. everything worked great and I learned a lot, great way to learn new software, thank you. The next day I tried to use what I had learned. i tried to make a flp from KWHP to KMRY. I set the two way-points but when I clicked on Hi the map displayed a checkerboard of error 404 messages. Hi dave, As a newcomer to the program,I must say that is heading in thr right directionnin its present form. After a couple of false starts using the same route I have this evening managed to get up to cruise level without causing ATC to disown me,or threaten me!!!! I am flying this route,KPDX Pawli Q13 TACUS KLAS.I reached cruise level prior to Pawli and did not get any hand off to centre at all.The other point which was not correct was that the TOD point was 100 miles away which meant descending with 300miles to go.This was from a cruise level of 37000 ft.I tried adjusting the GS,Descent rate etc and found in all cases that the TOD was getting closer ,rather…

When I create a flightplan with or without SID and STARS in P2A and export it in P3D.pln file P3d itself can´t load the Flightplan. Maybe it is an wrong Format. Thanks for the Beta. Greetings Oliver

Hi, OK my flight plan was: EGLC CPT UY321 PEPIS/N0318F211 UQ41 SAM UL620 BRIPO EGTE Everything went fine with that route until I was asked to contact approach, It asked me to tune into 128.97 which is the correct freq, however I mistakenly tuned into 128.90 whilst this is my error the approach controller on the wrong freq actually accepted me and started giving me instructions as though they were EGTE approach. I never noticed this until I glanced over at the P2A screen and see I was tuned to wrong freq. Would be nice if the controller I have wrongly tuned to told me so. This is a re-post - I don't think the first went through ---------------- Hi Dave, In the COM Frequency window pop-up when you click the "other" COM button, the indicator bar in the button you clicked on changes color to green, but the Active Freq, Standby Freq, and text located in the top center of the Frequency window pop-up won't change until you close and re-open the window. The text is Com1, or Com2 The volume button controls do not seem to work, the mute button does work The NAV Frequency pop-up window works the same way. Thanks, Mark

I've been having this problem through all versions. When using Sayit, pilot requests engine start.-Says it twice. Don't know why twice. Ground says engine start approved. Pilot replies with engine start approved. Click on taxi in drop down he says again engine start approved When pilot requests taxi he repeats engine start approved. Also, clicking anywhere on the screen causes him to repeat each time. Unhandled exceptions occur at any time during this process and even selecting continue will cause him to say engine start approved. Jim

Hi, When I connect P2A to FSX I get a window pop up saying "Unable to create Speech Recognition Engine for English-US Language. Installed speech Recognizers en-GB, be sure a windows english culture pack is installed on your PC" I'm running windows 10 if that helps.

Exporting flight plans to X-Plane FMS using Sid's or Star's in the flight plan will only give you one way point and on one occasion it crashed x-plane. Creating a flight plan without sid's or star's it exports just fine. Also when contacting ATC at level flight using {at Altitude} does not work no response from ATC, have to use {climbing to assigned altitude} or {descending to assigned altitude} this bug has been in since v4.0.0.1 Great work was having a lot of fun with v4.0.0.3

Hello Dave, I don't know if this has been addressed, or if it is something on my end. After creating a flight plan (VFR or IFR), I attempt to export it as a pln file to either FSX:SE or P3Dv3.x. The exported file name appears in my flight plan folder(s), but cannot not be opened by the simulator. Curiously, when I start ASN, and import a flight plan to it, the plans created in P2Av2 and exported to FSX:SE and P3Dv3.x load, and look fine. Thanks, Joe

Lost Center contact while climbing and awaiting clearance to flight plan altitude. I was switched to NorCal Approach 120.35 but got no response to reporting current altitude. Instead P2A’s state changed to “Initialized”. (Not good) Further attempts to make contact were unsuccessful. Also, using SayIt for most communications I once got an unhandled exception when selecting one of the reporting grammar help choices (voice rather than SayIt "to altitude") that required spoken transmission; I clicked on "continue" and did so, but didn't get a response. Taxied to rwy 29 at airport loww, after contacting tower was told to line up and wait, after 5 minutes of waiting tower didn't come back, after contacting them again got the same message line up and wait. Is there a work around or just simply just ignore the tower and wait for the phone call when you land again:)

About half the time when I import a flight plan from Flight Aware I get the message "Unable to import text to flight plan. Check format of the pasted text". Sometimes it works ok and sometimes it doesn't. I do add the departure and destination with spaces as required. Jim

The "Validate" and "File" buttons will turn green when selected. If I click on any other items, for example to change the radio frequency the "Validate" and "File" buttons are no longer green. It doesn't appear to unload the flight plan but I thought that the buttons they stayed green before first update was applied (not 100% sure on that) When I am flying and from the Map Display, I click on the AI Traffic button, I get the airborne traffic and they are changing position on the map, but after a short while (maybe 10 seconds) the AI Traffic planes stop moving. Hi, I had three problems with this flight from KSAN to KPHX (See the embedded file below). 1) Departure gave me an takeoff altitude clearance of 3,000 feet, which seems pretty low for an airliner. 2) I flew a long time at 3,000 feet and I had to request my cruising altitude, which was 27,000 feet 3) The last issue, sometime time after takeoff, there was no handoff to Center from departure. After that there was no further communication. Except for the low clearance altitude, I'm probably not doing something correctly. Yesterday, I had 3 excellent Ifr flights with the last one terminating in a uncontrolled airport and I departed from kcae. Today I am grounded.I cant leave kcae. Any time I comm with clearance I get "unhandled exception" and then ATC stops. I also can go into config and invoke comms with clearance and all is ok..I then listen to atis and change freq to clearance make my request and "unhandled excetion" starts. Hi, -I have no Tod in the FPL page whatever the imported flight plan. In the version 1 the ToD works perfectly with the same FPs (same speed, same cruise level). -During a vector approach, the tower has repeated constantly the same order buckle again and again. Then she gave me several headings every 5'' or 6''. I stopped the flight. I will try again the same flight. I remember that there was sometimes the same problem at the beginning of the version 1. Hi, The taxi instructions given by P2A do not position the A/C at the end of RW27, but rather at the point where the planes would normally touchdown on the runway, which is a good distance from where ATC actually positions planes for take-off. Because of the large buildings near the approach of RW27, the actual touchdown is a long ways down the runway. One image (top down view) shows a red line extending from the P2A graphic white line depicting the taxi graphic that reflects actual operations for airlines. I fly the PMDG 737 a lot. The keypad used to change the Nav Radio frequencies does not work on my installation of Pilot2ATC v2. I've tried a number of aircraft, but no success. The problem does not exist on Version 1. Joe

Dave: Once I connect P2A to the simulator (x-plane), I can click on "New" flight plan and then click Cruise Alt". I enter the cruise alt (ex. 32000 ft) and press "OK" i get an unhandled exception error.
