I asked for radar vectors for visual straight in in edsb .At first i got vectors in 5 deg steps. After 5 minutes II got the usual unhandled exception error.

Handoff from center to approach works great now! But this one's a weird one (build 20). I'd just flown a DME arc for the ILS to R23 at VGEG and everything had gone really well. But I was well down the approach and no handoff to tower had happened, so I contacted them myself and P2A froze completely. I assumed it had crashed and so just continued my approach, but then I suddenly got a landing clearance about half a mile out. I was way too high anyway, so declared missed in the hope that it was working again. More silence, so I tried a few more times with no response. Continued the go-around by myself and eventually tower piped up again with acknowledgement of the misse…

Hey Dave, I filed KLAX GMN4 GMN BSR BSR2 KSFO, using the suggested SID/STARs for that route. I believe there is an error with some of the LAX departure data. The flight planner bypasses the GMN4 departure and takes me straight to BSR. This seems to be an issue with several other SIDs out of LAX. http://imgur.com/CvOAXl6 Tim

This one's been consistent over three consecutive flights using v2.0.0.18. Latest was VTBD to VTCL. All were VFR with flight following and worked perfectly up to the handoff to approach. I changed freq and then I'm pretty sure it threw this when I hit the PTT button, although I guess it may have been after I spoke, judging by the trace. I am at a loss atm with P2ATC 2.0.0.18 (and even tried v1.4.3.6) not able to recognise anything I say. I recently had to rebuild my pc with new SSD's and clean install of win 10 64bit. Since then I have tried eveything to get P2atc to work.. it installs with no problem it connects to X-Plane 10 it just does not recognise my input through the mic. I have both Eng uk and Eng US language packs installed the mic is the same one that worked previously (Razer Kraken 7.0) it is set as default both for playback (headphones) and Record (Mic) if the Listen option is applied it is picking up my voice cleanly with little or no other sounds. I have run the windows mic setup …

in LEBB frecuencies Ground and Clearance/Delivery are the same: 121.700. Tune that frecuency, ask for clearance, receipt data, readback correct...so...I want to contact Ground to ask Pushback and engine start, but only receive the request "contact Ground on 121.7". I tried retune, I have also requested frequency change to Grnd... but does not work. I can't go on...without cheating Regards

p2atc consistently crashes within a minute after connecting to xplane 10.45. (btw this also happens with v2.0.0.8 and up, AND v 1.4..x) The crashes occur randomly at various places in p2atc, but always after connecting to x-plane. Can be after 5 sec, 30 sec, 1 minute. I only get the useless Windows message ...will close the program and notify you if solution is available bla bla. Any log I can send? EDIT: OS is Windows 10 latest.

LFLX has 2 tower frequencies..Both 125.87. Clicking on them sometimes crashes the software (same old exception error).Sometimes I'm told to contact tower and when i do nothing works. In order to make everything work i first have to "activate" lflx approach and only then contact tower (125.87. Not sure its a bug or me scr* up.

Just did a flight lflx-arnav-lfpo. I took off from rwy21 and kept on going straight instead of turning around just to see if atc would complain.Nothing. ATC went to sleep and did not come back anymore. Not sure it is because of the frequency problem at lflx.

Hi Dave - couple of small notes. Unable to get IFR clearance at KIAD. Clearance delivery at KIAD is noted as 135.69 (tough to enter). Actual frequency is 135.70. Also, when flying from KBWI to KSBY it seems P2ATC doesn't recognize the tower at KSBY. Could not contact tower to get approach or landing instructions - kept getting told to contact tower on 119.4 (KBWI's tower). When I contacted tower on 119.4 I was given landing instructions for KBWI even though I was at KSBY. Maybe issue with Unicom and tower on same frequency at KSBY or KBWI and KSBY fairly close together?. Thanks for your continued efforts! Mike X-Plane V10.45 P2ATC V 2.00.12

Randomly now since version .14 and still present in .15 P2A seems to freeze and become non responsive. There doesn't seem to be any errors or anything. Just cruising along and notice ATC stopped contacting me. When I click the P2A window is greys itself out with a 'Not Responding' in the title bar. This happened on approach in to LAX (v.14) and now while cruising to SEA (v.15). Running W10 and P3D V3.2.

Hi Dave, First off, amazing job with Pilot2ATC so far. I've tried just about every third party ATC options out there, and this is definitely shaping up to be the best. I've been having an issue with approaches into airports without any STARs available. For instance, I file PHOG-BEACH4-LNY-PHLI. As I depart LNY, I would expect to fly direct PHLI unless ATC clear me to an approach or start giving me vectors. However, in this case ATC assumes that I will fly the ILS 35 with NAPUA transition from LNY. If I fly direct to PHLI, I am told that I am off course and given a heading to fly (towards NAPUA) and then told to resume own navigation. At this point I haven't been told …

Attempted to depart KFLL, ground cleared me to taxi to 28L, however every time I read back instructions they repeated I wasn't cleared for takeoff. Even tried it with the SayIt option to see if it was just something with my phraseology. Using P3D v3.2, PMDG 737-800, airline tfc at 35% I have noticed that traffic is not automatically updated, you have to "restart", pressing the button twice to display traffic (deactivate / reactivate display traffic) Still, there is some lack of coordination between the simulator and p2A: yesterday I wanted to make a flight, hold short on the takeoff runway. A plane was on final, landing ... I waited ...lands and I asked permission to take off: ATC responds "lineup and wait" ... May have found another bug. Just landed in Orlando and was handed off to ground on 121.7. Attempted to contact ground and was told to check frequency. The info button has 121.8 listed for that airport. After tuning to that frequency I was able to get taxi instructions to the gate. As an extra bit of information - I just tried to file a new flight plan - when trying to contact clearance they are telling me to immediately try and contact ground.

I've had a few instances where the controller speaks over me. An instance would be they provide a new altitude but then as I read back they cut me off to either provide another or clear for an approach.

I hate to say it, but I still (in 2.0.0.13) can't usually contact tower without somebody claiming to be Unicom answering instead and then understandably refusing to issue clearances. Maybe I notice them more because I fly charter in FSEconomy instead of zooming from hub to hub in a 737. It isn't all airports but it's very common in small to medium towered airports in the US (picking a few codes at random it was true for KSBP, KGCN, KSPS, KTLH, but not KPSP). The crucial factor is whether the AFD lists them as having a CTAF frequency for when the tower is closed. It's usually the same as the daytime tower freq and shows up in P2A as a second Unicom, which is perfectly …

Dave, I had an issue at KIAD - when attempting to tune Clearance the freq was 135.69. The Comms rounded up to 135.70. When i requested clearance I kept getting a "Check Frequency" Response. Was this a mistake on my part of sorts or did I snag a bug? Running 2.0.0.12 - forgot to throw that in post title. -Chris

Hi: I've been trying to find a solution in your forums but with no luck, but excuse me if this topic has been reported before. The problem is about the ATC Ctr voices. It is impossible for me to get different voices for ATC Ctr 2 and ATC Ctr 3 working. It seems that Ctrs 2 and 3 have some kind of strange link between them. I mean that if I set a voice for Ctr 2, Ctr 3 gets stuck with the same voice, even if I set a different one for it. I'm using a set of Ivona Voices and they all work well (I have tested them by setting them as Clearance Delivery, FSS, Unicom, etc. and then there's no problem. In fact the only problem appears between ATC Ctr 2 and ATC Ctr 3 voice…

Dave You suppose to get which rwy to take roughly 50 or less before TOD but iam unable to get this when I load the ppfx flight plan, but the strange thing when I load the flight manually(I type all the waypoints in etc) into the pilot2 it works so I must be doing some thing wrong. Just a very minor point: I found I can't file flight plans for cruise altitudes at anything other than whole thousands - it gets rounded. VFR flights in the US above 3,000AGL are always at odd or even thousands plus 500ft, of course. It may make no practical difference as far as the software is concerned but I just thought I'd mention it. I haven't actually succeeded with a VFR flight yet. Startup and take-off usually go well, but then I find I can't check in with the destination (class D) tower. The standard "Flagstaff tower, Skyhawk 214AL is 5 north-east, inbound to land" gets no answer and I can't get any SayIt strings to do the trick either (why do they specify a …
