Win10, XP11.05, V2.3.1.2, FF A320 (beta) Hello Dave, Am receiving frequent instructions from P2A to descend to cruise alt. while at cruise altitude. Baro is set to (Std 1013) and instruments including the VA xacars show the correct cruise altitude. Today this was followed by 'P2A has stopped working and will close" - for info. Cheers, Bruce

I'm a complete noob to flight sims but just about all of the UK approach patterns Pilot2ATC provides in the flight planner seem wrong to me. Here is the approach plate for Newquay and the approach selection from Pilot2ATC Am i simply misunderstanding Pilot2ATC or is this a bug?

In the X-plane 11, in the default B738 with P2A v.2.3.1.1, SayIt will read off and the practice will recognize my voice, but it will not work for the 'ATC'. The program works with the 747-400, so I know it's installed correctly and everything is setup. I thought it might be a plugin but I disabled all but XPUIPC and the built-in Lua that runs the gauges and still no joy. Is there something I'm missing?

2.3.1.1 Trying to load SID, running as Admin, Windows 10.

When flying out of uncontrolled airports I always call from the ramp for IFR clearance and am given an initial altitude with the clearance, for example 4000 ft. I'm also instructed to call at the runway for IFR release. Upon reaching the runway and calling for the IFR release I'm ALWAYS instructed to climb and maintain 2000 ft. Why 2000 when I've already been cleared to 4000 ft?

I was cleared to FL130, took off, and when I was at FL110 ATC told me to descend to 6000. Out of EGLL, 27L, on SID DET2G. using latest version.

Hi Dave, I'm running v2.3.1.1 and noticed an issue with the SID assigned by P2A for LSGG runway 05 departures. Whatever the first waypoint in the flight plan is, P2A always assign a SIROD SID. For runway 23, all is fine, this is only happening for runway 05. I have to manually assign the SID to fit my flightplan. As far as I tested, I saw this only in Geneva. Hi, first of all, a small disclaimer, I am new to this software. I think what encountered is a bug but I cannot be 100% certain. And another note to mention that I use the software without a microphone (so with the sayit and sayit+ functions), on a second computer, connected via widefs to my p3d v4.1 computer. That being said here is the problem. I flew several flight to LFMN and would like to perform a VOR B 22R, using radar vectors to the IAF BADPO. The good news is the ATIS worked perfectly. I'm having trouble contacting clearance delivery. I'm flying out of Canberra (YSCB). Ground control and clearance delivery share 121.7. When I dial in the frequency and ask for clearance I'm told to contact clearance delivery at 121.7. I've tried dialing it in on the standby frequency and switching it but no luck. Any suggestions?

Hi, when I try to Load an Airway the waypoints are not filled in the flight plan. I use the airac cycle 1711. I tried the following steps. - New Flightplan, new waypoint EDDM, new waypoint INPUD, new waypoint UPALA - open Wapoint option for UPALA and select "load airway", - then i choose airway "UL610" and to wpt "BATTY" and press "Load", neither the legs nor the waypoint "BATTY" have been inserted in the plan Then I tried another way I add the BATTY wpt by hand and choose the ariway on the UPALA wpt once more. Contacted Approach approx 23 miles out per sectional with phrase, [Approach, <CallSign> is at <Altitude> Inbound for VFR Pattern Entry Runway <Runway>], received a response to expect runway "A" and then to expect to enter left downwind for runway "B". Hey, I am using the trial of pilot2atc along with x-plane 11. I am experiencing so many problems I can't even list them all here. First off pilot2atc freezes when connecting to the sim, and is inactive for about 30 seconds. Then I choose sids, stars and approaches and validate, but as soon as I hit file it freezes for 10 seconds again, sometimes completely stops working. I also get lots of error windows when doing random actions like sayit... also sometimes when using PTT or sayit I just get no response from the radio, and it freezes after a few seconds. Hi Dave I had nil issues during clearance, taxi or take-off. However I started to get issues after levelling off at my Cruize alt. When atc tells you too change frequency. The Co-pilot responds but the frequency does not change. I then change it manually and it works. However if I request by voice using a salty phrase it gives me an error message. It even gives me the error message if I use the salty function to say it for me. Below is a cut and past of the error that pops up. Every time I get a frequency change, it assigns me the same squak code over and over.

A very minor bug that I've come across twice now, so thought it worthwhile to mention here. I love this feature: a Pilot2ATC controller decides to provide approach vectors to the runway rather than let me fly the (longer) STAR. However, the controller mentions a completely different airport name in the communication, as you can see from the screenshot. See the bottom-right corner: in this case I was flying into Rotterdam The Hague airport, but the controller mentions Muenster Osnabrueck airport. Hi Dave, I have a problem with the read back of taxi instructions. Every other request or read back is understood well, but not the taxi instructions. Even if I use SayIt, ATC keeps repeating the instructions over and over again. The assigned route is a valid route to the runway, but the read back seems not to be recognized. Fedor

Just installed update 2.3.0.1. Thanks for constantly improving the program. But since the last update ATC seems to have a problem assigning taxi routes. I used the new feature to import taxiways and gates from my P3D scenery. In the taxiway maintenance screen it looks more or less OK, but after positioning the aircraft at a gate (or any other spot), assigning an active runway and pressing display route, nothing happens. When running the program in the sim the taxi clearance only exists of "taxi to runway x" without a route. At some airports I get a route, but at most airports no route is assigned (for instance EGMC, EGKK). Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong. In …

I tried out the trial version of Pilot2ATC and it worked for a couple of flights so I went ahead and purchased it yesterday. I have v2.3.0.2 installed and am using with X-Plane 11. So far, after trying it on about a dozen flights, I have managed to complete only 2 without a problem. I have a Zotac Magnus E1060 mini-gaming PC with an NVidia GTX1060 6MB card. My CPU and Memory all seem fine while running X-Plane and Pilot2ATC seem fine (CPU isn't maxed all the time or anything like that). Certainly my PC is not hanging, and X-Plane continues to fly fine regardless of the issues with Pilot2ATC. Issues in no particular order: 1. Hangs filing a flight plan. I have tr…

I have FSX-SE and have never been able to get weather from the SIM. I get WX from NOAA just fine but not from fsx. I know that this comes thru fsuipc and it shows weather settings as off. Since I have the unpaid version of fsuipc. would this stop the weather coming from the sim? Thanks James

I'm currently trying the import taxiways option in P2A. I've improted the taxiways and gates from the default airport LIRF which has good taxiway coverage. The importing worked but now when I request a taxi I only get a simple reply from the ATC saying "Callsign" taxi to "runway" and that's it. I don't receive any taxiway instructions. EDIT: Forgot to mention that this was for X-Plane 11.

Dave, Just fired up v2.3 and it seems I cannot file a flight plan. Its just stuck at the spinning mouse cursor. Previous versions it would hang here a few seconds and then complete. It does pick a STAR, but then continues to sit here. It doesn't appear to crash as I can still click through quite a few menus, I just can't obtain clearance since the plan never finishes filing.

Hey Dave, I have flown to about a dozen airports now over the last week with the lastest version and I am noticing that none of them have any gate information available anymore. Where exactly does P2A get it's gate information from? Is it all internal databases? I use to have gates I could request taxi too. I would click the airport waypoint, click info and click on gates, select the gate I wanted and then speak it. Since the newest version now I have no gate information for any airport and some airports like KMDW-Chicago Midway don't even taxi you to the terminal area for the default Gate 1. They just give me weird instructions that take me back and fort…
